MAN! You just made with your MV-50 what I wish I could with mine and my AC4-12 I do that just with a speaker cable, but dude you went the extra mile! LOVE IT!
This is absolutely amazing, the amp looks and sounds fantastic and has made me want to buy an mv50 and embark on a similar project. Stellar job my guy.
I am the first to comment. I like this video because it is entertaining and informative. I hope every viewer appreciates the tremendous amount of work and attention to detail that you applied to both the project and the cinematography. Doug.
Awesome video. Awesome project. Awesome playing. Awesome end result. Awesome shout out. Just awesome. If anyone wants somebody to aspire to be like then you can do no wrong wanting to be like Luke Holwerda. One of the nicest, hardest working most talented people I know. This video deserves to do soo well. Keep it up brother Luke.
Thank you, Jono! Very kind of you to say! Especially publicly. Thanks again for all your help with the wiring. There's good evidence in this video that I needed it.
This is awesome and sounds amazing. What is the song you’re playing on the telecaster about 8 mins 13 seconds in. It’s so familiar but I can’t place it?
Hey Luke, Absolutely stunning work on this video. Really a great watch and a lot of very nice information. I am currently restoring a Vox AC30 cabinet from 1970 and I was wondering; how did you make the faux nameplate on the back? Mine is missing the original backplate and I want to make something similar as yours. Many thanks!!
Hey Ruben, I googled for a while till I found a nice image of an original rear plate, then I modified it / customized it in photoshop and printed it on some adhesive vinyl, which I adhered to some spare aluminum plate that I had laying around. I'm sure there's more than one way to do it, but I had all the ingredients handy.
The carpet looks the same as the “Overelook Hotel” from “the Shining.” I know that has nothing to do with the video, but I noticed it and just had to point it out😂

Thanks, man! Excited to see all the stuff you have in the works!
I love the detail in this amp (and the video!). Superb project in every sense. It is a quality build and a killer tone!
Thanks very much and thank you for watching!

That's a hell of an idea and some great work, man! I am super surprised to see so few views, though. Regardless, keep it up!
Thanks for watching!

@@Lukeyourselfthank you for the information! The printing on vinyl, is this transparant vinyl and you print the black part?
@@RubenStuveling I actually just used white vinyl, but transparent would be better... but yes, you just print the black.

It has everything to do with the video! Good eye.
lol.... thank you Vox. You need a sticker on the cabinet. "Warning - Not Heavy". :)
Ha. Or at least "Warning - slightly less heavy than you're imagining"
hi, can we get in contact in private, please?
