I love the confidence from Jordan Travis! What do you guys think?
Been saying the last 3 months that JT will start as QB3 future QB1 for the Jets
Yes a 5th rounder QB developing and becoming a Star QB is slim, but he wouldnt have been a 5th rounder if he didnt get hurt, heisman candidate, CFB playoff team, so aslong he fully recovers, we got a chance!
He seems like a kid who's going to be easy to root for. Im looking forward to his growth over these few years.
Rooting for this kid!! He is hard working, respectful and easy to root for. Let’s go Jordan!
Excited to see Jordan Travis grow behind ARod and Tyrod.
Watched highlights on the UDFA Byron Jarret, that dude has a cannon on his arm and can run, wouldn’t sleep on him
Saw him at FSU he's the truth I was floored when the jets drafted him made my day
I don’t watch college ball just highlights of players for drafts and I went to see his highlights dude I’m pumped he’s already better than Zach 😂
Great confidence AND humility/team-first attitude. I like the fact that he was a low-risk pick in round 5 that could develop into something special with some time to sit out and heal and learn behind Rodgers and Taylor. The Jets haven't been able to really do this type of thing in the past because they didn't have the luxury of having a solid starter at QB. So I'm totally excited that JD took a swing on a low-risk candidate here and we get to see what he's got over the next couple preseasons. I'm excited to see how well he heals up and how much he develops. You never know...maybe the Jets finally get the QB pick right in the draft for a change! My top 2 drafted QBs that I have gotten to see play for them have been Pennington and Sanchez. Both experienced some success and I'd love to have had either of them over what we've had the last 5-6 years!
We will know how he is doing best by what they do next offseason- if they bring in another QB to lead then we know it’s not good, but if they bring in another qb or draft another late rounder then it’s not necessarily bad- teams know having 3 in the bullpen pen is necessary now, but that also wouldn’t mean he is immediately qb3
Jets have selected QB's early and started them early, but, it didn't work out. Rodgers, the current Jet QB, sat for his first three years behind Favre.
Kirk Cousins is a great example of a mid round quarterback who found success in his NFL
I like his demeanor but I agree that fans should temper expectations. Of course it would be fantastic if he proved he could be a starter in the NFL but even if all he ever becomes is a solid or above average backup, that's still a win. The truth is, unless he looks incredible once he's fully healthy, him being on the roster wouldn't stop the Jets from taking another QB in future drafts.
knowing the Jets luck they would move on and draft someone else with a higher pick and Travis leaves and becomes successful elsewhere lol
@@johnnyjets2343yup lol
Is it true Jets could leave MetLife for stadium in Queens in 2026? That is last year of commitment to NJ stadium
All imma say is: our day 3 QB is More likely to play a full season over the next 4 years than Penix does 😂
The thing with Chad Pennington was, He was the smartest guy on the field, bad thing was , he was built like "Peter Pan" ! "You can't be built like a twig, & take all those hits !" " Not unless you're standing behind a steel wall !
He’s 24 he still has some years to get bigger
JT3 is far better than Zach Wilson
People keep harping on the fact that he’s a 5th rounder. If he wouldn’t have gotten hurt and won the whole thing, where would he have gotten drafted??? Then how would we look at him?
3rd round prob. and exactly the same
The future? Let's not jump to conclusions & proceed with caution ! Didn't we say the same thing about Zach Wilson ! Hopefully the Jets learned from their mistake , and handle this quarterback much better ! Go Jets !!
Did you not listen to the video? lol
Zach was undraftable, they made a huge mistake
Honestly I think Travis has a very good chance to be a future franchise QB. He doesn't have huge arm strenght BUT he seems to have everything else.
@@TonydaGM I sure hope so... Hope someone steps up & becomes the future. What do you think about that other quarterback the Jets got , the undrafted one , I believe he's 6'4" ? I hear , unlike Travis, this quarterback has a rocket for an arm !
Do u not read his shit? All he does is post negative shit. I'm starting to think he's a butt hurt packers fan@@MattOLearyNY
JT will be a decent backup QB in NFL if he realizes his full potential. I never liked ZW but with a better OL and weapons ZW will be better than JT. Everyone has dreams but they do not come true most of the time.
Jets are where QB’s go and die. We ruin every QB we’ve ever had. 😂 Hopefully and I say hopefully this kid can sit 2 years behind Arod and Tyrod and actually learn. No rookie deserves to play out of the gate, yet the jets throw every kid into the fire.
