I have 6 roll’s of 2009 P roll’s, 2 2009 S CAMEO roll’s & 30 2009 D roll’s. In the 2014 blue soft cover book there is an error for the 2009 D Nickel’s that were minted. They said there was 848,500,000 2009 D coins. And actually there was only 49,500,000 2009 D.
I was buying D roll’s for $8.00.

I received a roll of Dimes from my bank and half of them where are 2009 dimes from Philadelphia and Denver in which four of them from Philadelphia have either strikethrough or ghosting of the Flames of the torch some are on the reverse some are on the obverse in front of his face and two extra torches on the left and the right the main torch on the rear is this something good

I have two 2009-D dimes in fair condition, certainly not MS, maybe would grade at 50+ still has the shinny coating that twirls like a fan when under a light. I found 2coins one is a 1967 liblerty dime with no letter and the same with 1978 are that worth any thing as well I have 2 with the letters
Just opened an original bank box of D's , lots of obverse scratches and after the fifth role only have two coins with full bands. Nearly all the lower bands only go half way around the torch. My P mints are much better strikes for sure.

how do you sell on Ebay with no tracking numbers? if you just stick it in an envelope, you can't get tracking.

I have a run of these 2000-2009 Philadelphia uncirculated blemish free untouched by hands or air since I bought them stored in holders. But would it be worth my time and money to grade the 2009? It is absolutely beautiful and looks perfect. Easily should grade a 68 or 69 maybe 70 with the right set of eyes looking at it. Opinions?

These coins are underrated. Terrible strikes from both mints however and I have more P' than D mints like ten to one full bands. I think I got two boxes of worn dies from D. These coins for their low mintages will be worth big money if anyone can find any that aren't trashed by the mint from day one. So far nobody, in ten years.

Michael W The pennies are also low montage comparatively to the surrounding years. The 2009 pennies were the Lincoln Bicentennials with 4 different variations on the reverse. BR will probably give a better technical analysis than I can.

Highest mintage for 2009 cents was the first two coins (log cabin and Lincoln reading) with mintage of between 280 million to 370 million. Lowest mintage coin of 2009 was presidency (4th coin) Philidelphia mint with just under 130 million minted.
In comparison they usually make between 4 and 15 billion cents on any year. 2009 they made under 2 billion in all 4 reverses total.
In top of that these cents in the mint set were the old style 95% copper. It's a different composition from the circulation cents that are zinc and copper coated.
I HAVE A 1957 LINCOLN CENT WITH NO MINT MARK BUT THE NUMBER 1957 ON MY COIN THE 1 IS HIGH UP AND THE NUMBER 7 IS VERY SMALL THATS WEAR..
