- Kinda hard being consistent for so many laps, on Papu's Pyramid, with Blue Fire, aiming for small rings the size of cheerios.

He only missed 29 rings the entire time. 1,163 of a total 1,192 he could have gotten. The man played 97.6% accuracy on this race for 15 minutes. That’s kind of insane.

Okay I know this is a mad old post but I have been wracking my brain about this, and not to be 'that guy' but this is somewhat untrue. The skills are still insane, but the number of maximum rings he could have gotten is actually 1225 (37 x 33, + 4 at the end), but why 33?
That's where it gets weird. At 0:15 you can see that first ring is worth 2 rings for some reason? And you can see it happens every lap. So it *looks* like there's 32 rings but you can see by the end of lap 1 he has 33 because of that double ring. Still 94.9% accuracy is nuts.

0:13 just here you can jump and collect 2 of the 3 rings of the shorcut and later instead of going here 0:28 , you can go down and collect the 2 rings to get an extra one

You could collect 2 of the shortcut rings before driving up the temple, and then go the normal way (under the bridge) for 1 extra ring per lap
I believe you waste precious time that you don't recover with just 1 ring.
@@thatoneLerrydude I don't think that the shortcut saves you 1 second (assuming that 1 ring equals 1 sec), but anyways I think it doesn't matter all that much in the long run

I meant to Reply earlier, but you might be on to something! I don't think going on the top is too different compared to going on the bottom as far as time is concerned, so it's definitely worth a look in my opinion.

I wouldn't give up, it's a bit finicky to get used to but I definitely believe anybody can do this. :)

I just got CTR NF today and it kept giving me hints for ring rally and I was like ok I'll try one and I immediately wanted to know a world the world record for every track

Speed, once you know what U-Turning is and how to use it, you don't really need anything else
@@crystalpixel4599 yes, I know U-Turning, practicing on it, but I am curious if for ring rally some alternatives are viables... :)
@@IvorLongarrow I think outside of a few really troublesome tracks like Dragon Mines (blue fire on that track is a nightmare with the minecart cycles), I feel like every other engine is helpful in the sense of just being slower to give you more breathing room

this is basically just mastering the pyramid climb, huh? Blue fire makes the rest of it easier if anything.
Anyways I'm so glad they added this mode. It lets me spam and master my favorite tracks even more while having a more rewarding goal to still reach. It just pushes players even more.
Pretty much, it's not really difficult, it's just really long.
I think it's a great mode since it encourages people to control their karts better, and exposes them to blue fire a lot, it's great practice

Gotta be using mod. In several instances the boost wouldn't last that long. This is impossible in the retail version
You sir, are wrong. Each ring builds up your reserves for boost, making it possible to not drift for ling periods of time. Plus he wouldnt of made the leaderboards

I was thinking the higher the score, the more wumpa coins you get. Clearly not.
I got nearly 300 on tiny arena for only getting 200 odd points. This games mechanics and reward system is whack. You should at least be able to get the 5x daily bonus offline. It sucks.
I heard from someone that the Wumpa Coin Bonus caps at around 8 laps

Many people complain about the sparil in Dragon Mine but this part of Papu Papu's Pyramid is just as bad if not worse.
I'd say this is probably harder, though you don't need to be able to U-Turn to do the beginning of Papu's Pyramid so much more people hate it but accept it as easier because it seems more doable.
