IVE's dorm is probably the best out of all the girl group dorms "I've" seen. The only ones better or equal is that of BP's. This is big considering the fact that this is just their first dorm. Some groups upgrade their dorms after a few years, or after they hit big. IVE has already hit big during their debut and looks like they will get a good haul in this first comeback. I will not be surprised if in the next year or so that they'll move to 2 separate dorms so that all of them can have individual rooms. Some groups have nice dorms as well but this one looks sophisticated for a first idol dorm. Normally you get this kind of dorm for your upgrade already
BP all have their own appartment and they got fairly fast, don't remember about their dorm, twice dorm now is also very great and classy but it took jype years to give them a proper dorm .... also less and less groups actually show their dorms, mostly because of sasaengs and haters

Watching this brought me back memories, actually. Anyone else old like me and remember when shows used to regularly show idol groups' dorms and their dorm life? I always thought that was so wholesome to watch since we could see the more human side of them. Of course, I completely understand why they don't do it that much anymore. Probably privacy reasons. Still, if all permission is granted and they don't make it an "invasion" event (like some shows did back in the day), then, again, it'd be so nice to watch another side of these idols we don't usually get to see.
ENG SUBS SUMMARY: wy, yj and liz got a solo bedroom as they likes to be alone. gaeul, leeseo and rei shared the big bedroom as the they enjoyed playing with each other. they didn’t decide the rooms through rock,paper scissors or anything like that. just based on each members’ preferences. not on age based as well. *so please don’t hate on any members!* the manager said the reason why theres partitions in the big bedroom is so it’ll split the big bedroom into 3 small “room” for each of them to have their own spaces as well!

Because they're the best known in the group? Of course the two former Iz*one members are promoted more......that's why Starship sent them to the idol show, to use the publicity they gained on Produce48 to promote their new group. Ive would not be getting half as much attention if they weren't in the group. Both Wonyoung and Yujin have worked hard the last four years to promote their company, honestly they deserve to be rewarded. The other members will also work hard and eventually be on more equal footing.

I seen people talking about favoritism, because how they manage the rooms. But looking at the image at 0:16, the big room is as big as the 3 small ones combine. Its kind of lack of privacy for the other 3, but the 3 small room are too small for 2 person each. Anyways, the big one with Gaeul, Rei and Leeseo, looks like if you change a few things hey could fit better.
Thought I’d just point this out- Yujin and Wonyoung have more stuff in their rooms probs cause they have the money to buy it since they probs no longer are paying back the company for their trainee days while the other 4 are, so all their beds and stuff is what was given to them.
Fun fact, yujin's bed she bought in 2020 (when she got solo room in izone dorm) and the rest (refrigerator, mac, even her clothes are fan gifts). She always use her fan gifts very well.
before people come for yujin and wonyoung, you should know that ive won't be invited there if it weren't for annyeongz since they only invite people who's really popular within the gp to bring views on tv show. even the most famous group doesn't get invited in there because they don't secure high tv show rating.
You know i really like wonyoung but sometimes her movements really look like calculated that i dont find it genuine at all compare to her i zone moments though 🥲 now it feels like she has to look perfect and has to move elegantly.
well her every move is always getting nitpicked. there are many people who is waiting for her to mess up so they can jump her so i really dont blame her if shes always on guard like that, especially when the cameras are rolling.
This is just my opinion., even though she put some effort in calculating her movements, I think that’s how she is, though. I feel like I can relate to it since I think a lot before doing something (even just small daily gestures) to give people impression “this is the kind of person I am” because I want to be like that. Later I am used to it.. if I put my thoughts and efforts in it, I believe that slowly I’ll be the kind of person I want to be.

Thought I’d just point this out- Yujin and Wonyoung have more stuff in their rooms probs cause they have the money to buy it since they probs no longer are paying back the company for their trainee days
while the other 4 are, so all their beds and stuff is what was given to them.
Fun fact, yujin's bed she bought in 2020 (when she got solo room in izone dorm) and the rest (refrigerator, mac, even her clothes are fan gifts). She always use her fan gifts very well.

You know i really like wonyoung but sometimes her movements really look like calculated that i dont find it genuine at all compare to her i zone moments though 🥲 now it feels like she has to look perfect and has to move elegantly.
well her every move is always getting nitpicked. there are many people who is waiting for her to mess up so they can jump her so i really dont blame her if shes always on guard like that, especially when the cameras are rolling.
This is just my opinion., even though she put some effort in calculating her movements, I think that’s how she is, though. I feel like I can relate to it since I think a lot before doing something (even just small daily gestures) to give people impression “this is the kind of person I am” because I want to be like that.
Later I am used to it.. if I put my thoughts and efforts in it, I believe that slowly I’ll be the kind of person I want to be.
