I recently went through a relationship where I literally gave my all to someone who gave it to someone else. I never knew if I was enough for him, still don’t. He hurt me so much yet I love him more than anything. It’s heart wrenching. I feel this every single word.
It's quite the opposite, he wasn't enough for you. You gave it your all and he took it for granted and couldn't return the favour. It's easy to play the blame game, so the hardest yet right thing to do is to continue to love them and wish the best for them and their future, while acknowledging the fact that you two will no longer be together. Through all their mistakes, your mistakes, what you and him could or couldn't or didn't do... Putting all that aside and being grateful for what has passed and not ruining the pleasant memories made by overlapping them with the bad. Because as time passes, it's better to hold onto the good things rather than the bad. Acknowledge the bad but don't solely remember them for it.

I can quite realte to that, on my end I tried so hard with a girl I had so deeply loved she however just changed and would ignore me more and she would talk to other dudes that wasn't me or treat guy friends better than me and I still had loved her, she had even went back to her ex and then went to another and I still had loved her so much I tried working it out and everyone I knew told me she wasn't good, and I doubted it until It was too late and I had really been so heart broken, it's not as bad now but that feeling of love for someone is hard to find again.
