The sausages could be either. In the game you grind up guest hams. Although I guess there's no reason it could never be children ground up in there. It's a sausage.
My very wild, unsupported theory for the upcoming DLC is that the Granny was one of the staff of the Maw, abandoned or even thrown into its depths. Perhaps even mother to the Twin Chefs, if not the Lady herself. Or even the old boss of the Maw hence, her wrath on the betrayal. I doubt the staff on the Maw are averse to killing their fellows. *insert hanging man here*
"Innocent" well I can't consider them that when they all jump for a piece of 6's meat, whenever she runs in front of them. They seem to be cannibalistic by choice.
If Six is even the same thing that the Guests are, which seems almost impossible because of the size difference, but then again still probably possible.
Personally, I don't think the guests become the leeches as opposed to them being natural denizens of the Maw. It DID say "they belong there". Also, in ground meats like hotdogs, sausages, etc., they readily include intestines. Even cartilage and other stuff you can't serve alone. Heck, the skin of sausages is usually stretched intestine.
Also, the leeches are venomous. Their poisonous secretions likely make up the black ooze. I don't think the guests' intestines would have any capacity to become that way. Then again, they ain't hooman soooo... yeah.
I'm not convinced the leeches are venomous-- they don't poison Six, they constrict her. Where do you get the evidence for their being venomous? As for turning black, during the decay process the putrefaction stage often turns the decaying tissue slimy and black.
"In the dark, moist corners of The Maw, the leeches writhe as one, awaiting the swollen wanderers. Slimy, venomous parasites that feed on the living - the leeches truly belong here."
My theory was actually the reverse. I thought that the leeches eat the child’s, and use their skin as a Hide. Then they grow and become human in form but not in appearance, needing the bloated and stretched skin of a child to mask their appearance. Pretty messed up but I think it has its points.
My theories on all the characters: Six is the daughter of the lady, although her name refers to her being the sixth kid to escape. The Lady is a creature of the same species as the other monsters, but she eats very little and lengthens her life by stealing the souls of the guests. The Granny is probably The Lady's mother. Conserving her power to survive since she was trapped in The Depths she has to normally hunt whatever falls near her. She survived being electrocuted and made her way to the clothing room. The Twin Chefs were runts in the creature society so they got a job running The Kitchen and The Guest Area. Like the others they grow to have strange proportions and eventually their skin begins to sag and decay. The Janitor was a proper outcast in their society. As a result of refusing to eat meat produced from other creatures he became short and lanky, but his skin began to rot anyway. He used to run The Prison and The Lair alongside The Hanging Man, who killed himself when he realised what was going on. The Guests are creatures who live long and dull lives in a rather normal society until they are old enough to be shipped off to The Maw. After the feast The Lady steals their souls to live even longer than them. Their corpses along with humans and other livestock are used to supply meat in the kitchen. The Nomes are the same species as everything else, they are basically the extended family of Six and The Lady, and like them both they cover their monstrous faces to avoid reminders of their ravenous hunger. The Lady treats them like slaves now and the other servants consider them pests. The yet unseen characters like The Wax Bellman and The Ferryman are simply older and blobbier creatures that struck a deal with The Lady. The humans are a notable food source for creatures in the rest of the world, and the prisoners are taken to raise families and breed, living out their entire lives on board The Maw and then adding to the food stores when they die. The Leeches are the lowest form of evolution for the corrupt horrors. Then comes the Nomes, them humanoids like The Lady and eventually monsters like The Guests.
TheTinFoilHatter umm the reason Six is named Six is Because It like represents the sixth sin which is gluttony and she keeps on getting hungry which is gluttony
The GabbitVille True, I definitely think that theory holds water. But then again, all the creatures in the game are trying to deal with their gluttony, it seems to be the sin the game focuses on (makes sense since I've heard the game was originally called Hunger) so it would be right to name the main character after it. If even the leeches are related to the monsters it might be that even the human-looking characters are part of the same species. The beds and bedrooms are large and so are the corpses the Janitor strings up. The corpses aren't as big as the Guests but they're much bigger than the captured kids should look like as adults. And since the other kids cover their faces like Six this adds to the implication they're also fighting their hunger.
the children are eaten as sausage. They put kids in the grinder to make a paste of meat then put that into the sausage machine. 1 child alone does not make 1 sausage about 1.5-2 does.
Ever notice the Granny operates in exactly the same way as whatever is burrowing in the shoes? You even have to use the exact same tactics in dealing with them. (Trying to cover as much distance between one platform and the other with your jumps) Not saying she is or isnt the burrower. But the similarities ARE there.
Agreed, these are similarities there. I bet that it was a decision on the dev's part to re-use a familiar mechanic in a different setting, and I think it works well.
Keep in mind that in a lot of Asian cultures, including Japanese, those who commit suicide often leave their shoes behind. I have a theory that those shoes are those of guests who realized what they were doing, and perhaps couldn't live with themselves knowing they had committed such a horrible act. Those shoes don't look like they would fit the guests as we see them, with huge monstrous bodies and all. And they don't even seem to need shoes since they crawl everywhere. I think the workers of the Maw throw away the shoes of the ones who committed suicide so the other guests don't get suspicious and realize what kind of hell they're in.
Shoes are the most durable clothing people wear. I was watching footage of a titanic documentary and I noticed that there were groups of shoes floating in corners. Apparently the clothes all degraded from the water and other elements, but the shoes didn't. So the clothes can be tossed overboard without making any sort of clue for people looking for previous guests. I know you explained why they would still be able to get guests but that doesn't stop family members and rescue teams from searching for them. Basically they have to keep the shoes because they don't weather way in the water. Side note: If this is true, than we can estimate the number of guests to board the maw (assuming there is only one shoe room) by the number of shoes and the size of the ferryman's boat (assuming he only uses the boat we see, the same boat leaving harbors with people and not returning would cause quite a stir though)
great content as always! I can't wait to watch all your content because you seem to understand the game and is presenting ideas that no one has prout up yet! and I know for sure that you will grow fast and improve your content just as well. 👍
All Bosses are puppets and They use the guests skin. The janitor has the long limbed mans arms and the skin from the guests is way too big for him, Thats Why it slides off his head. He has one of the guests hat too
i think the guests know this fate will befall them, because theres a theory the chant they hum while entering the maw goes something like "more eating chop me up more eating",so they chose to enter the maw just to fuel their addiction of consuming large amounts of meat, because the maw promises to feed them until they eat themselves to death or kill them after being fed to satisfaction , their clothes are then used to fuel the maw by throwing it into some sort of furnace,or some guests become food for other guests while others become the maws fuel, some children die and also become the guests meals , but i also favor the theory they learnt the chant somewhere and are unaware they'll die soon
I think the children are fed to the other workers, I mean you see multiple bags in the Depths dlc. They probably throw some down there to allow the Granny to feed on them. Maybe the Janitor eats some too, and the meat hooks don't stop at the kitchen so we know that they don't use THAT meat. But hey, i'm just talkin random stuff. Another thing to mention, maybe the Lady feeds off of the corpses as a bit of that dark energy thingy majigger she uses.
Can we all just sit for a moment to realize how terrifying this is? Think about this: hundreds of people come to a place where they feed, and then they all get chopped and turned into food for the next army of hungry guests. This is the most terrifying part of this entire game.
I have a theory! Little Nightmares... is just that, a nightmare, as in, it's not really happening. Think of all the things that we see on the Maw, leeches, nomes, ugly geusts and a woman with supernatural powers who can be defeated by a mirror. Now consider 4:13 in the video, Six dies and is then... waking up on a suitcase? It's as if it was just a nightmare, "But what about the runaway kid?" I hear you say, well I'm going to tell you a story: At one point the Maw was built by the strange woman, it was a place where gross people could come to eat, the woman eventually had 2 children, a boy and a girl, she called the girl Six and the boy I have no idea, but the children are terrerfied of the geusts and the workers, such as Mr Noodle Arms and the Chefs. The boy ended running away from home, terrerfied of the things he'd seen, this drove the father of the two to commit sucide, seen by the hung man Six walks past, Six goes insane, having horrible nightmares of the Maw, the people working there, her father's sucide, her brothers disappearence, it all comes down to one thing... it's all... just... a dream.
I also have another theory that has nothing to do with the first one: Everything's, more or less the same, except for the part of it being a dream, Six is horrorfied and wants to runaway like her brother, who comes back to help her escape, that's why we see the Runaway Kid with the skirt girl, that's Six, but he gets captured in the process and Six goes back to try and save him, but she gets captured, remember the bit where Six gets hungry and finds food in a cage, which Mr. Noodle Arms closes and takes. Six sees her brother in a cage before it is dragged away by Mr. Noodle Arms and what I believe, is he most likely died, think about it, throughout the game iit looks like Six wants to escape, but then she goes to kill the strange woman? It doesn't make sense until you realise that she's doing it to avenge her brother, she then leaves the Maw finally free from it, but not the pain it's brought, she has to live with having killed her mother and her father and brothers deaths and then, a boat comes, freeing Six from the island itself. The End.
I haven't played the game yet.. but I did realize.. "The Maw" - Maw is a term that, according to google, means "The jaws or throat of a voracious animal" ... meaning, The Maw, could literally be a maw, or a place of gathering food to feed some large creature every year. (I believe others may have though of this, but I haven't seen mention of it)
You know how you said the children are not big enough to make a meat slice. Well have you ever thought the fact that the janitor grabs a group of kids and wrap them into one bag to make enough meat.
I don't think the guests are innocent. From the way they chase after Six, I think it's clear that they know what they're going to the Maw for and they want it, very very badly. The slices of meat could be from animals. After all, we do see fish and vegetables-so it's not far fetched to think that the Maw might store ingredients other than the children. The children are more of a delicacy, served sparingly.
I think that the leeches are there to kill the children that wander out of the prison. The janitor has two jobs, take care of the children and stop them from leaving, and cleaning up all the dead children scattered around the Maw. The leeches were put there to punish kids who had escaped.
Some guests are innocent because the first time you see a guest eat that guest does not attack right away like the other one, maybe the guests that are new to the maw are not driven by pure hunger, the others who have been on the maw for a while are because they attack you soon as the hear see or smell you, i dunno its a theory
I think that maybe some of the meat cuts without bones such as the sausages could be children meat ground together like how real sausages are made. Sry for the graphicness lol
I think the leeches are guests that lived; not being killed by The Lady. In reward of living with a problem; they can live, but get turned up into leeches so they won’t talk. And stay on the Maw.
theory: the masked lady tricks them to eat sleep in the maw later or sooner the souls of the guest will be eaten by the masked lady when six got the power of the masked lady six eats the souls of the guest then a monster or pet eats the body and leaves the shoes
Your theory about the guests being the meat begs several questions: if the children aren't the meat, what's the janitor doing with the children? Where do the hooks that carry the wrapped up children lead to?
What I find stange is that the bags (the ones attached to the meat hooks) in the beginning of "The Kitchen" campaign are much larger than the sacks we see the Janitor wrapping up. Do the children go through a growth process when they are being sent to the kitchen? Or is there something else in the bags?
Another video shows how the game embodies the 7 Deadly Sins. The guests symbolize gluttony. And the wages of sin are death as they say, so that ties into the fact that no one ever leaves Ever notice the guest dont really look like theyre chewing their food? They just shovel it in.
I have a video on how using the Seven Deadly Sins to analyze any piece of fiction is the laziest and most obvious literary tactic, lol. I have grown to hate "____ is the Seven Deadly Sins" analyses.
theory 2:the blood suckers/leaches/snail like slugs is made out of left over meat thrown into the sewer then they decay theres a possible way that they could come alive? this is not the real answer but its a theory
I think the guests are NOT the leeches but the kids are... cause you never see what happens after you get caught by the leeches, you only see six or the runaway kid get caught and just die, we never see what happens after you get caught. So I think that the child would start to decompose and melt away into the leeches and carry on to do what the leeches do
2:21 i can disprove the theory why the meat is the former guests. they feed witohut TASTE. that means theyre are alreayd fattened up and their name for the chars is full to burst. so itd still possible yet not as possible. for they feed without any reason and without tasting it.just eating to DIe
I honestly think Kids are the ones for Lady, since her desire beauty. Beauty needs youth in her view. So young ppl like kids are great for her (my theory)
What if the granny home use to me a old folks place and that explains the furniture and why there's so much of it and then she rages because her friends all went to the surface for more food ant they got stuck thee then she decay and rages
And six is not a boy or a girl six is a monster who is hungry and when six eat that nome it shows that six is no diffrent than the gues. And her mother is: the lady
It is possible to make meat out of children, and you do see the long armed guy wrap dead children in and send them to the chefs on hooks. ´ A lot of meat in the real world is made of recidues from other meat, and they could do the same thing with children. It can make the meat look very real, but it is just a lot of pieces made into one. However the amount of meat they actually get from it... I don't believe they will ever get enough for one guest.
Theory... What if the guy who lures people to Maw actually hand picks them.. I guess hear me out with this one, I wouldn't say goes from place to place and watches people so much as I would say he observes people from certain locations and notices that they have a wicked hunger that you cant get satisfaction from. So promises them that the Maw is a place where food is everywhere and you'd never get hungry again it's all you can eat. It wound explain why they enter already engorged. They maybe promised a cruise ship but my guess is the one who lures them to the boat has to give a good enough reason. Even if promised a vacation not that many people would jump on it unless given a reason 'you'd never be hungry again' is enough reason to get families of these people not to worry and not think about it because they're being promised to have their stomachs filled, hell maybe people even tell secrets and pass around that 'the Maw is a place where you'll never be hungry with an amazing food source' Nobody would wonder especially if word gets around that the guy who lures them there could be found in x town 'a hunger that can be satisfied and you won't want to leave' sounds like my type of sales pitch. Just saying. as for the leech thing, I don't have a clue what to believe.
i think the sausages are the children all ground up and the steaks are from deceased/murdered guests
MrBoogyman Already Disproven!
MrBoogyman The Part About Sausage!
gimmie the vid where they disprove the sausage theory.
oh hi mal10 1.00.000!
The sausages could be either. In the game you grind up guest hams. Although I guess there's no reason it could never be children ground up in there. It's a sausage.
What about the theory that the guests faces are used for the chef's masks
Minion142 I've never heard that one!
Veeeerrrrrry likely!

*insert hanging man here*
I'm on board with the "Mother of the Lady" theory. I think that has merit!
Hitsuga Tatsuro very intresting theory
The Granny dies in "The Depths" chapter in DLC.
rovad55 I know, dood. I watched Arcanestatic's live playthrough.
Joonas Meriläinen Thankz, brah.
"Innocent" well I can't consider them that when they all jump for a piece of 6's meat, whenever she runs in front of them. They seem to be cannibalistic by choice.
Sypueria He Means They Are Unaware!
Sypueria it’s not cannibalism if they aren’t human.
I doubt very seriously that the guests know what they are eating. They all probably think that they eat normal animal meat.
My theories on all the characters:
Six is the daughter of the lady, although her name refers to her being the sixth kid to escape.
The Lady is a creature of the same species as the other monsters, but she eats very little and lengthens her life by stealing the souls of the guests.

They don't really bring luggage on board the maw, meaning they aren't preparing for a long stay or they know their fate already.
Yes but who owns the luggage in the shoe part? I think it’s from the deceased staffs?
I feel like the meat is comprised of children squished together and guests
Wtf thats preeeeeeeeety dark
@@radicalgaming3671 have you seen this game
I also think so, but those kids who are still alives might turned into gnomes as shown in the DlC, you can see the shadow of gnomes are like kids.
the children are eaten as sausage. They put kids in the grinder to make a paste of meat then put that into the sausage machine. 1 child alone does not make 1 sausage about 1.5-2 does.

Keep in mind that in a lot of Asian cultures, including Japanese, those who commit suicide often leave their shoes behind.

The shoes i think are based off something where all the shoes pile up into this room with dead corpses underneath them

A skinny worm, a gluttonous Guest, and a weird, squeaky frickin voice.
the maw is like an old skool underground rave i'd just collect the fliers D:
I think that maybe some of the meat cuts without bones such as the sausages could be children meat ground together like how real sausages are made. Sry for the graphicness lol
Your theory is really great... considering meat that looks like a leg is a leg joint!it definitely isnt the leg of a child
I think the leeches are guests that lived; not being killed by The Lady. In reward of living with a problem; they can live, but get turned up into leeches so they won’t talk. And stay on the Maw.
sausage links are created using intestines. your theory is therefore debunked. interesting idea though.
Love your theory.
Keep making these videos I like to hear about what this game is about
theory: the masked lady tricks them to eat sleep in the maw later or sooner the souls of the guest will be eaten by the masked lady when six got the power of the masked lady six eats the souls of the guest then a monster or pet eats the body and leaves the shoes
Cant exist but is terrifying as heck
It’s the children, only the children. But the guests souls get taken out by the lady not eaten
0:37
That gives me anxiety.
It's kinda cute how he talks
Great video! I appreciate you :) I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE A LITTLE NIGHTMARES TV SHOW!
the shoes look exactly like the ones The Janitor wears
Your theory about the guests being the meat begs several questions: if the children aren't the meat, what's the janitor doing with the children? Where do the hooks that carry the wrapped up children lead to?
I'm looking for answers to these questions now, actually. It bothers me that we never see the kids /go/ anywhere.
we do. The janitor wraps them up in sacks which are taken to the chefs.
What I find stange is that the bags (the ones attached to the meat hooks) in the beginning of "The Kitchen" campaign are much larger than the sacks we see the Janitor wrapping up. Do the children go through a growth process when they are being sent to the kitchen? Or is there something else in the bags?
i'm pretty sure you're wrong on that one; the bags the janitor wraps up are seen from a distance, so they'd obviously look smaller.
maybe the kids make the sausages, but the big stakes are the guests
Another video shows how the game embodies the 7 Deadly Sins. The guests symbolize gluttony. And the wages of sin are death as they say, so that ties into the fact that no one ever leaves
Ever notice the guest dont really look like theyre chewing their food? They just shovel it in.
I have a video on how using the Seven Deadly Sins to analyze any piece of fiction is the laziest and most obvious literary tactic, lol. I have grown to hate "____ is the Seven Deadly Sins" analyses.
when guests go in they trap them and they stay forever
theory 2:the blood suckers/leaches/snail like slugs is made out of left over meat thrown into the sewer then they decay theres a possible way that they could come alive? this is not the real answer but its a theory
That's literally this video's theory, just less eloquent, lol.
I think the guests are NOT the leeches but the kids are... cause you never see what happens after you get caught by the leeches, you only see six or the runaway kid get caught and just die, we never see what happens after you get caught. So I think that the child would start to decompose and melt away into the leeches and carry on to do what the leeches do
have u played the new chapter with the runaway kid? There they show how they feed the granny. Maybe they use the guests' meet for feeding her?
So, the theory in a nutshell, is that the guests are canniballs? XD
I don’t think they mean to be a cannibal it’s just that they’re in a endless hunger
But yes It’s the theory in a nutshell
2:21 i can disprove the theory why the meat is the former guests. they feed witohut TASTE. that means theyre are alreayd fattened up and their name for the chars is full to burst. so itd still possible yet not as possible. for they feed without any reason and without tasting it.just eating to DIe
+zacharie ??? I, uh... I don't think that disproves anything?
true XD i jsut reread it and realized:wait.. alread yfattened up.. WELP
lalalalalal
yep cannibals :3
pure creepiness
What if the kids are used as bait for the fish which feed the guests and then they get fat and then the masked woman feeds on the souls of the guests
I honestly think Kids are the ones for Lady, since her desire beauty. Beauty needs youth in her view. So young ppl like kids are great for her (my theory)
I think the shoe monster is the granny
PiggleVitch Gaming well how does she go from the lake to the shoe place
I believe that the "guests" are really prisoners eating a "final meal" of sorts
anyone agree like if so
the guest enters the maw, already fat
the monster is the granny under the shoes
So the sauges were once...😂😂
Vegetables? I don't remember any kind of vegetables :O
i rest my theory
10:45 I enjoy the way he says that. ^_^
I honestly think the guests are dead. And so are the chef, or they are goblins or something that capture wayward souls
The lady kills the guests by taking their souls. Thats why when six ate the lady SHE took their souls.
I think the shoe monster is the granny in the depths dlc
maybe the one that grabs you from the shoes is granny
Or maybe the leeches are actual leeches that snuck onto the boat...
i like your content continue to do it
What if the guests think six is food sense six is the size of the meat on the maw
What if the granny home use to me a old folks place and that explains the furniture and why there's so much of it and then she rages because her friends all went to the surface for more food ant they got stuck thee then she decay and rages
have a theory:the guests have... FEET *dun dun duun*
That piece of meat chef was cutting had a face
No. The guests are food.
Good Theory
Uhm, the leeches have LEGS
but hey...Thats a theory A GAME THEORY
Good video . I like these . Fascinating game
cool theory!
Hi
Hi Kim!
HellStars 727 Hello
Why leech is making my laugh i Mean look at the leegs omg
And six is not a boy or a girl six is a monster who is hungry and when six eat that nome it shows that six is no diffrent than the gues. And her mother is: the lady
The monster is Billy's pet
Where did the janitor and the chefs come from.
What if the shoe creature is just something related to Granny and is another family member of Six?
I don’t think there’s any family members of six in the maw. I think she just got there for a reason
It is possible to make meat out of children, and you do see the long armed guy wrap dead children in and send them to the chefs on hooks. ´
A lot of meat in the real world is made of recidues from other meat, and they could do the same thing with children. It can make the meat look very real, but it is just a lot of pieces made into one. However the amount of meat they actually get from it... I don't believe they will ever get enough for one guest.
the meat are the previous guest I think and the sausage are the kids?
what if the leeches are parts of the kids and the eating part is from guests
the shoe monster is the granny
I don't belive children and guests are the same spiece.
I was playing little nightmares and when I saw a guest I released there hands are sthited on
I think the shoes is the granny
pawsome pinki same
pawsome pinki productions shoes are the granny? Well now i know what happend to granny when she died... she turned to sea of shoes 😂
HoI I'm tEmMie!
Don't forget my friend, Temmie!
Hi, I'm Bob!
Reuben Caldwell and I'm Steve !!
Arcanestatic | Hi! I'm The Doctor!
Um buddy wrong game XD
exactly .why does eveyone think the children are being eaten.
