You mean baking powder instead of baking soda, because while mixing with little water you said baking soda but just after that you said eno or khane ka soda don't give that result, please clarify,it will help many .I make this recipe and always get good results.I learnt it from gujrati Rasoi show,and was prepared by Kamini shah.Now i will definitely try this recipe also.Thanks a lot.

may be you used more haldi in it. need to use pinch only or avoid haldi. Thats fine.
