    You mean baking powder instead of baking soda, because while mixing with little water you said baking soda but just after that you said eno or khane ka soda don't give that result, please clarify,it will help many .I make this recipe and always get good results.I learnt it from gujrati Rasoi show,and was prepared by Kamini shah.Now i will definitely try this recipe also.Thanks a lot.

    I made dhokla with ur receipy...it ache bane...same as market...I think first tym mujse itne ache bane h..sabko ache lage...love it...muje Kam khane mile...coz khatm ho gae 😂😂 bring more n more recipy ☺️

      Citric acid lemon ka dry form hai jee. So u can use it.

    Man refind oil 1/4 cup jo batter me dalaa hai kya uska koi substitute hai actually high cholesterol hone k kaaran itna oil harmful ho jaega mere liyee..

      dono same hai... baking soda ka result jyada achhan raheta hai... or meetha soda ka ek smell ata hai lekin vo baking soda me nai ata hai.. Thank you

    Jaisa k aapne khaman ko steam krne k baad nikal kr side change ki, but side na change krk vaise hi rkh kr cut kren tou iss se pieces ki look aur bhi achhi hogi.

      baking soda immediate react karta hai and uska effect accha hai means its give good result. but khane vala soda ek smell deta hai and uska result utna achhan nai hai.

    My khaman turned red completely. I had used lemon instead of citric acid and baking soda. It got spoilt completely. What could be the reason?

      may be you used more haldi in it. need to use pinch only or avoid haldi. Thats fine.

      Better not to use haldi at all.Without it ,it gives proper colour to dhokla.
