What is the price value you determine is okay to send in rares as bulk vs. Trying to sell them individually or in Playsets? I heard you say that your full art cards and GX cards you send out as well if they're less than 50 cents a card. Is it the same idea for rares? Basically anything less than 50 cents is sold as bulk?
No if I can't sell a set of 4 for $2 then they go. Sometimes the card has a tcg player value of like ¢10 but sometimes sell for $2 as a set of four just for convenience of the buyer. It's really just how you feel about it. I save all the playable trainers and pokemon for my own personal deck building and usually bulk the rest
This video just got recommended to me, but wanted to throw out there that another thing you can do that I have been doing recently is sorting all my bulk into playsets and selling those on ebay. for example, 4 copies of ALL common and uncommon cards from a given set. Depending on the set/TCG, they can sell for $15 - $50 which is way more than I can get for bulk rates. Not going to lie...it's extremely time consuming but for me, I sort cards for fun while on calls to fuel my ADHD brain 🙂
@@thebagelmaster thanks for the reply! I also realized based on your reply that I didn't actually convey my thought. Well! What I'm doing is making full base sets. So cards 1-167 with four copies of every common and uncommon. But absolutely what you were saying about individual cards as well!
About half my cards are sorted between the rarities but lately have only separated into rares, reverses and commons with uncommons. I don't know if the commons and uncommons would be much of a difference.
@@thebagelmaster ok looking at getting my ready to send someone. I know you said keep certain cards out but if I am not selling on TCG just add them or ask for more money?
@@CameronBryan. Uhm depends, there are a lot of trainers like super rod and earthen vessel that sell really well but if it's below 50 cents on TCG player I would just add them in there. Also I just sold to a shop called Cape Fear Games. They had the best rates I could find!
Just sorting by rarity, any playable cards like trainers or Pokemon I set off to the side and will probably either use them in decks or sell them in groups of 4
I dont know who card sorting is therapy for, good on ya. I sort as I pull because otherwise its misery.
😂 it's just a good way for me to turn off my brain for a bit. Sorting as you go is also a great way to do it!!!
sorting cards is therapy
I like it for the most part 🫠
What a great video! Thanks for the info Bagel!
Thanks!!! Yea just trying to help people out who may not know how to go about selling

Oh for sure, I've been doing that with super rods and other trainers that are selling for above bulk prices!

They aren't I just separated them cuz that's how I like to do it
@@thebagelmaster ah ok. I used to also put them in chronological order too but I haven't had as much time lately
crazy question but is that just note book paper cut hotdog length about 1.5 inchs wide? your using?
It is indeed!

All that bulk will get you a few bagels, that's for sure!
Hopefully some cinnamon raisin 😋
I would suggest you count 100 cards, weigh them, and then just weigh out the rest of the stacks.
Thanks for the video.
Yea that could work, I like counting them though.
Cards can vary in weight. Better off counting 100 and making and even stack next to it.
Are you sorting individual cards? Or colors/types? Or just sorting commons from uncommons/holos/energies/trainers/etc?
Just sorting by rarity, any playable cards like trainers or Pokemon I set off to the side and will probably either use them in decks or sell them in groups of 4
Thank you
For sure!!!
