This is just a fanservice song for Shigure Ui's fans, a video full of inside jokes, a fake loli teasing fake predators, a work of fiction for entertainment purposes, not to be taken seriously.
For context, Shigure Ui is a Japanese illustrator and virtual youtuber, who last year realsed an album for fun, and this song was one of the many songs in that album.
The singer of this song however, is not the usual Shigure Ui, but "Shigure Ui (9-year-old)", an alter ego she came up with, originally just for sharing embarrassing childhood stories during a stream in place of her. However, she lost some bets during streams, and as the loser she had to stream acting with the voice of a young girl, so this 9-year-old alter ego got to do it.
Chat added fuel to the fire by acting like creepy predators during the stream, just to tease her. She jokingly threatened to pull her security buzzer (to call the police), and even threw the whole chat to jail for being too weird. The security buzzer and the fan meeting in jail setting are all references to these streams, justinside jokes with her fans.

    CONTEXT/CORRECTIONS:
0:12 the song is by Ui-chan(9) not Ui-mama(16). she is very clear that these are different characters
2:56 the 'bell' referenced here and also later in the song is the oval thing she's holding in her hands. this is typically translated as a security buzzer, and is the same idea as a 'rope whistle' or a 'personal alarm' except for little children. they are fairly ubiquitous in japanese society; it's not uncommon for elementary schools to require that kids have them. if you pull the lanyard or push the button, it continuously emits a very loud noise and starts sending geolocation data to the police.
    2:58 救済 (salvation) is a homophone with 9さい (9-year-old)
3:47 this line is hard to translate. individually, the written words mean [many/most/best] [kiss(es)] [in] [roll call]; also a homophone with 'prison roll call'
3:55 粛聖 itself is wordplay; 粛清 means a political purging and she replaces the second kanji for one with the same pronunciation meaning [saintly/pure]
(note: potential reference to yugioh card; but that card is niche enough that I think the lyric was made independently of that)
4:12 the vibe is more like 'let's have a date in court'
4:19 straight up bad translator; 'take him away'
(so the full lyric is 'hey, officer, take him away; this delusional person who is useless')
4:39 they made no attempt to translate the onomatopoeia; it's like a kind of 'struck with cupid's arrow' kind of sound.
4:40 translation is ok; 'seriously, watch out for these creepy guys' is better.
5:07 this is better translated as an instruction than a statement, 'sleep peacefully in paradise' (ie she's saying to be no more)
5:19 two notes on this line, I'll split them up. first of all; just a bad translation. she's saying something along the lines of 'everyone, I'll expose you'
5:19 the word she uses for 'expose' [ 晒しage ] is a 2ch thing; it directly translates to 'expose and raise up' and means the same thing as twitter's [ L + ratio ]
essentially; 2ch boards are ordered by most recent post; if you reply to someone with [ 晒しage ] everyone sees the embarrassing post again.
5:34 a bit of context here: at the end of the first Ui-chan stream, she acted out tricking the viewers into going into jail; and when Ui-chan got a 3D model the setting was a jail because she was 'visiting all her viewers in jail'.
    5:46 the adjectives translated aren't... accurate. I'll go in order: '4 n0b0dy' 'gr0$$' '4nn0y¡ng' 'just $#ut up 4lre4dy' '¡ h4te y0u' 'p¡t¡fuI' 'I4me' 'vve4k' 'vv0rthIe$$'
5:46 sounds like you got this one despite the translation; 助かる is not listeners asking for help but saying that she has saved them.
6:00 ゴミ (tr4sh) is the group name for her fanbase. she never decided on one, so when watame asked her for one on stream chat said ゴミ and it stuck
6:04 110 is the japanese police number; same as 911 for US or 112 for EU
6:06 固有結界 is an ability from the famous anime franchise 'fate'; canonical translation is 'reality marble'
6:10 Ui-beam [ういビーーーーム] became a thing because Ui-mama got embarrassed saying it in her cover of ファンサ; her fans try to hide ういビムs in things they send her, and it's a joke that a true Ui-beam is too powerful to ever activate.
7:11 ui refers to herself as ui so the translator got a little confused here. that's actually not too uncommon among little girls; around 1/3 from a 2008 survey.
7:24 the 'period' is referring to the button on the security buzzer
    general:
the song came out 5/25/2022 with her first album『まだ雨はやまない』; the MV is what's new.
the initial draft of the lyrics that IOSYS sent Ui was apparently a lot worse; she had them tone it down to get to this.
Ui-chan was initially created for a batsu-game for losing at tetris
I'm relatively new to Ui so I probably missed stuff. if you spot anything else point it out in a reply and I'll add it.

In most English Covers, the 'In Prison Fan Meeting' has the 'Fans' saying "Thankyou" to the Singer's negative comments about them. It's based on how Ui's Chat interacts with Ui.

    • @LordAziki
      @LordAziki 10 месяцев назад +47

It's a bad translation which comes from the translator missing the context and most Japanese people leaving out subjects and pronouns when there is enough information to know what is being said.
It's more of a general Hololive fandom trend than something specific to Ui-mama. It comes from people typing "tskr" in chat, sometimes with a praying emoji to make the specific meaning clear. Without any context, you get the bad translation from the word meaning that something or someone helps, saves, or blesses someone, which makes translating it to "help" an easy mistake. The prayer emoji some people use with it means "bless" would make more sense than "help," and the context it's used in fills in the rest of the details to make it mean something more like "this blessed me."
I assume the reason most people translate it to "thank you" is because it's similar enough to t he intended meaning and sounds a bit less awkward in English. You do miss out on how extreme it's meant to be though. We aren't just thanking Ui for degrading them, we're calling it a blessing.

Some of the translations were off. Like Extreme CHu in Extreme Chuu Roll call is a Pun for Prison, so it's prison roll call. Then The "Come on, Officer, take me away" I believe it should be "Come on, officer, Take him away." Like she's telling the officer who to take away and not that she is taken away imo. Zaako is slang for "You Suck" not rustling, and the Taskaru isn't "help" in this context it's "I'm saved" and Salvation = Kyuusai = 9 years old.

Tasukaru does not mean help. The person who has translated this seems not to have much of an idea of idol culture, for sure. Also "Gomennasai ga kikoenai" means "I can't hear your "sorry" " or "... you saying sorry"., not what's in the subs.

So the touch the "period" or button is a reference to the thing Ui-chan is holding the artwork. Which is basically a pedo button. A childrens self defense tool sold in japan. When a child is in danger they press the button or pull the cord on it and it sets off a very loud alarm that isn't easy to suppress or turn off. Often called pedo alarms.
There's more to them and all but that's the vague reference. Her holding it in a suggestive way is part of the appeal and in step with the character.

maybe some of you know. But what she has inside their hand is a bôhan buzâ an alarm that's particulary used in japan. When they pull the string it does crazy loud soound to alert people around that someone is trying do something bad to them.

The "bell" being sung about is the device in her hands. This device is what Japanese school children are equipped with in order to combat creeps and pedos. They press the button and the police are called to their location. However some small children are teaming up as there is a lot of power in that device and so they could extort things from innocent people and if they don't comply and the innocent are being prosecuted as pedos when the children press their buttons (period also is sung because the button looks like a period).
What this song is actually poking fun at is people who enjoy loli (underage looking, but not necessarily underage from a chonological standpoint) characters in animation and other media in Japan. It was meant as a joke as the character is Ui's 9 year old sassy alter ego that was made up after she lost a bet with a friend. The only reason why this song was made was to poke fun at her fans after they started to roleplay as creeps and perverts in videos featuring Ui's 9 year old ego prior to when she released this. She still uses the alter ego occasionally in small bits, but her 16 year old main character is what she uses predominantly as a v-tuber. Overall, the song has become a very polarizing subject as it appeared on television in japan once for a made for children show and the host apparently got fired for mimicking the song and the song was henceforth banned from Japanese TV. Despite this it has become very popular in Korea and Japan alongside western audiences outside of official sources for apparently trying to destroy creeps and pedophiles in the real world. I have to admit I get those vibes from it in a catchy tune that has given me an earworm, but the main target is actually otaku who love lolicon characters or characters with a loli complex as a character trait and also really a joke or meme to fans. Basically a fanservice song that got put out of proportion everywhere.

    Lyrics:
    The lonely loli-loli God descends
If I ring the bell, this is what will happen
This is the requiem of salvation
    Let's go
    [Refrain]
If you touch me, you'll get arrested (Ah!)
    Time for a "Chu-de" roll-call (Uh!)
One, two, three, four (I'm sorry!)
    Huh? ( ゚Д゚)
    Your "I'm sorry"
I can't hear it at all (Eh?)
    Divine purge, loli God's requiem
    Verse 1]
In the future, I don't want you
    To like me (Nope)
Wash your mouth with muddy water
    Let's meet in court (Ok?)
    Come, Mr. Officer
    Take him away
    A nothing but delusional
    What a pitiful person
    [Pre-Chorus]
    (Ui-chan, Ui-chan, hold on, Ui-chan)
Do you really let your parents see you like this?
    (Ui-chan, Ui-chan, you're so cute)
    Wah, thank you
    Thanks for your hardwork
    [Chorus]
    The loli-loli God descends (Boom)
Really, beware of these dangerous guys (Bang)
If you're not a decent person
    Hurry and go disappear, please
The lovely loli-loli God descends (Boom)
If I ring the bell, this is what will happen (Yes)
    A very kind
    And amazing big brother
Come and sleep in this paradiseVerse 2]
    Weakling (Thank you)
    Disgusting (Thank you)
    So noisy (Thank you)
Can I told you to shut up? (Thank you)
    I hate you (Thank you)
    You pitiful (Thank you)
    So lame, so weak
    Indecent
There's no way I could help you, big brothers and big sisters
There's no hope for you, all of you are trash
Filth disinfection, number one-hundred and ten
    The personal barrier, ac-tiv-ate
    [Break]
    Divine purge
    Ui-beam (Ah)
    One more time
    Ui-beam (Ah)
    Not enough?
    Ui-beam (Ah)
    The day of anger
The day a rain of blood fell on this divine internet (Ui-beam)
All of the foolish Lolicons (Ui-beam)
Are purified down to their bone narrow with ray of light (Ui-beam)
    That's the Ui-beam
    "Ui will forgive everything"
    [Chorus]
Ah-ah, all the ugliness in the world
I'll collect and try to paint them
    A pure, blank white canvas
    Becomes stained and crying
    The lonely girl turns around
    And gently takes your hand
"Theres no such thing as paradise"
    [Interlude]
To all my grown up friends
    The oblivion you've fallen into
    What's the point of it?
    Hey, tell me
Ui, really doesn't get it at all
    [Chorus]
    The loli-loli God descends (Boom)
Time to say bye-bye to you with a smile (Bang)
I'll end this with a period
And let you push it with your hands
The lovely loli-loli God descends (Boom)
If I ring the bell, this is what will happen (Yes)
    A very kind
    And amazing big brother
Come and sleep in this paradise
    [Post-Chorus]
    That is the salvation
    Requiem
    Let's go
    [Refrain]
If you touch me, you'll get arrested (Ah!)
    Time for a "Chu-de" roll-call (Uh!)
One, two, three, four (I'm sorry!)
    Huh? ( ゚Д゚)
    Your "I'm sorry"
I can't hear it at all (Eh?)
    Divine purge, loli God's requiem
    [Outro]
    Really, this is so disgusting
    [Post-Chorus]
    (Ui-chan, Ui-chan, Ui-chan, Ui-chan)
    (Ui-chan, Ui-chan, Ui-chan, Ui-chan)
See? There's so many disgusting people
    (Ui-chan, Ui-chan, Ui-chan, Ui-chan)
    Spread over the world
    (Ui-chan, Ui, look over here)
Everyone, I'll be exposing all of you
    [Refrain]
If you touch me, you'll get arrested (Ah!)
    Time for a "Chu-de" roll-call (Uh!)
One, two, three, four (I'm sorry!)
    Huh? ( ゚Д゚)
    Your "I'm sorry"
I can't hear it at all (Eh?)
    Divine purge, loli God's requiem
    [Interlude]

I only caught like a fifth of the lyrics when I first heard the song (my Japanese is pretty shoddy, but good enough to get by), and I was like "Oh holy crap, so many people aren't gonna realize what this song is actually about." If you'd told me at any point in the past that an anime loli was going to release the most fire diss track of all time directly attacking all lolicons everywhere, I would've been skeptical. _Seriously, why does it go so hard tho?_
Edit: I am aware of the context of the song and its creator, I know it's an inside joke. Still an absolutely savage diss track in isolation.

It's simply because the people that are mad don't undertake the 3 layers of jokes made in the song.
The song was made about a year before the animation was released. It's a joke song for Ui-mama's audience that comes out of multiple refences to stream occurances.
The concept of Ui-loli was from losing a punishment game. The coment of trash was also a a thing that a Hololive member called her audiences since she read it in chat and it just stayed. Ui-beam similar though I myself can't remember where it came from other that the same Hololive member was responsible for its birth.
There is so much more under this song and the lyrics that go strictly specific to Ui-mama's audience but that's all I remember tight now
