Changing or "resetting" your life can be quite tricky. Often you need to remove yourself from the daily routine to bring about change. This week I was enjoying a week of yoga and a heatwave in beautiful Majorca. This is what happened. I hope you had a good week wherever you are, and thank you for all your support. Some of you are in Majorca!! It was lovely meeting you.

What a lovely relaxing vlog for a Sunday morning. So pleased you had such a chilled time, sometimes you need a break with time to think and unwind and perhaps try to chill more often when you get home. I meditate every day and have done for over 40 years, it helps cut out the chitter chatter of life. 😊

How perfect, a reset in Majorca--when resetting from "home," it is not so much what one packs but what must be unpacked. That is the art and lifelong quest, whether at home or away . . . knowing what to carry with us and what to leave behind.

Soller is one of my favourite places in the world. We often stay by the port; But spend a lot of time in Soller Town. The real attraction is the spectacular mountains, they are majestic and strangely very grounding in themselves. I’ll be looking forward to visiting the Yoga Centre myself, when I am recovered from a stroke. Thank you for showing us around Jo ❤

Dearest … Yes, I have been on many retreats. My children would attend from an early age until they were teens. If not for my grounding in yoga, mine bhakti - the changes in life - losing parents, siblings, beloveds, would have most certainly plowed me down. We are incredibly fortunate. LOVED,LOVED,LOVED this vlog !! What an amazing experience this must have been . I cannot imagine having such a relaxing and quiet vacation. The whole experience looked absolutely heavenly and I have to admit I'm a little envious. I think this retreat could change someone's life ...just the sheer joy of the surroundings and the food and the meditation. I would have felt completely pampered !! and relaxed. Thank you for sharing this . I have to say this is one of my favorite vlogs that you have posted.
This film is beautiful and inspiring. I may not have a retreat in my budget but I can surely incorporate some of these lovely touches into my daily life. Always room for more peace and beauty and simply to slow it down a bit. 💚🌺🙏🏻🏝️☮️

Back in the 1990s, there was a wonderful spa/retreat in the mountains of New York that I visited once a year. Those were somewhat difficult and stressful times for me but this place offered me a respite from all of it. They had wonderful yoga teachers, hikes and even nutrition and cooking classes. The price was also very reasonable. Sadly, when the husband of the couple who owned and ran the place passed away, his wife realized it was too much to run on her own and it closed. We all need these special places; where we can rest and be grateful for all that we have and look forward to what the future brings.

Loved this vlog... i have just done my first yoga retreat at 64 in an Italian medieval walled village ...It was amazing & very hot ( no fans or aircon) Our teacher and group were fantastic ..loved watching your retreat experience and i love sound baths too ( usually crystal bowls and gongs ) Also loved the white dress you tried on.. Have a great week 🙂

How lovely to be transported to your 🧘♀️ yoga retreat . I also practise and teach yoga and it has saved me so many times during the most difficult and stressful periods of my life , I am not naturally a calm reflective personality so it has taught me to stop and listen and learn about myself , thankyou and namaste 🙏

You endings thoughts are much like my own after spending two weeks in Greece, the majority of the time at a friends home in Kyparissia. I am from California and have never traveled that far and to a very unfamiliar country. It was life changing in the most positive ways. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. ❤❤❤

I've watched the vlog whilst the rain is teaming it down here in Blighty. With a hairstyle a la Middle age Minx aka Jo 💗
After telling you to get a bixie, I got one and love it! So cool for summer. Not a short pixie but a layered, textured bob. My hair texture and cut before was like yours. So easy to style. You just put product in your damp hair, do a rough dry, then scrunch it in your fingers to shape it. Looks more playful and edgy than a flat bob. No fiddling with hot tools, although that's an option. Perfect after swimming. Ask your hairdresser to investigate.
