I dig the smile on Angus's face when he plays the Stiff Upper Lip riff to the camera. He knows the riff is hot and he seems so proud/thrilled when he plays it back.
Angus is the perfect high energy rock guitarist of the century! Many others are extremely talented but he represents the perfect balance between the good rythm riffs, addictive melody and outstanding solos. If you are into rock music, you've got to love AC/DC! It's like a large, strong, cheap coffee for the road... It's rough, it could be more raffined, but it's exactly what you need to stay awake and feel alive. Keep on rockin!

Thats so cool how he would just come up with a finger exercise and it ends up being one hell of a popular riff. I heard the same thing about beginning part of "Sweet Child O Mine". That it originally was a finger exercise that Slash came up with, but they ended up using it in a song.

I do lots of guitar licks and practice lessons from EVH, Paul Gilbert, Satch, and Yngwie Malmsteen over the last 20 years of playing in my room and for gigs. I remember seeing Metallica and Slayer when they barely got off from having singles off of Metal Blade records. But having listened to AC/DC for the last 30 years...Angus and Malcolm are fantastic...and such incredible style from playing simple chords and scales...is amazing. I love ACDC both Bon and Brian era.
Completely agree, they still kick ass after all these years. Even if you don't like them, you gotta give 'em props for staying together after 36 years and through an original band members death

He's a god at guitar and most guitarists can't even move while playing, much less playing Angus's god-like riffs while rolling on the floor, double-stepping, duck walk, the whole deal. I think Angus is underrated and should be Number 1.

Some members were born in britain and some in australia. they (apart from brian) grew up with the australian culture. Also the band was started in Sydney, which makes it an australian band.
@SatchJimmy i just watched him live a few hours ago in sydney! he did a 16 minute solo it was incredible. easily the best piece of music ive ever witnessed. you wouldnt know hes over 60! he is a legend!

These Guy's are massive sold more Albums than U2 Sold more records than the beetle's and Black In Black is the Second highest selling Album ever only album to sell more is M,Jackson's Thriller, Angus also awesome with a Gibson SG his is specilay desinged of Course with the neck of it being a extra 3 inches than a normall SG giving him higher notes and of course at a cost of £7500. Love you Angus Rock On !!

Who decides who's no1 guitarist, based on what, Technical ability, showmanship, maybe how comercial their stuff is. For me, if they connect with me their good, in my book. I rate angus because he hits the right spot for me. My favourite guitarist is Rory Gallagher, Live he used to blow your socks off. If any of you guys hav'nt heard of him check out his vids on here. Very talented guy.

This is the man who inspired me to play, too. I just saw him in person in Regina. I am 16 and have been playing for 5 years.
Saw him last Monday at their last Melbourne show, he gave 110% and walked off the stage after giving us everything he had. Legend.

Its a sg junior (are smaller guitars) normally uses standard size gibsons. And he is 5foot 2 inches (1,57 meters).
