Let me give you some info on this incredible trio and event: • Igor Krutoy, the pianist, is there as an overall lead because the event is built for him: this is his birthday event that he organized with all his favorite artists, the ones that he is used to collaborate with and the songs he has composed. He is kind of the godfather of the russian music, a bigger equivalent for russia of David Foster for North America. • This is not the first time that Lara sings this song (composed by Igor) in trio but the third time: she performed in the original version with Dmitri Hvorostovsky and Alina Yaroyava then again later with Dmitriy and Sumi Jo, before this new trio with Dimash and Aida. The song was composed from day one with her voice in mind. She has been collaborating with Igor for more than 10 years, they have created many songs together and he has told from her that she is “the best singer and the best songwriter he has ever worked with” • This also explains why the song does not expose more of Dimash’s upper register: it was written for the late Dmitri who was a pure baryton. • Lara was very very sick that day, with fever and strong medication but she is skilled enough to have made it unnoticeable • Also, like Dimash, and even if the song was composed that way with her in mind, Lara does not sing in her real « comfort zone »: she is, as Aida, a lyrical soprano but here she plays the role in the trio of a mezzo-soprano and takes the median register. It requires a lot of voice control to not interfere with Aida’s high note and does not allow her to really shine. She gives room to Aida to do it instead and Aida uses this magnificently. • It was the first time Dimash met his idol Lara (he is a fan since he is a child and he covered several of her songs such as Adagio, Love of Tired Swans, Mademoiselle Hyde, Know, …): look how quickly he turned to her, despite he has not finished his duo section with Aida 😂 And how he looks at her and hold her after it … • Lara is the most comfortable in italian because it is her first native language even before french: her mother is italian and while born in Belgium she spent her first 5 years in sicilia before returning there. She also is married to a sicilian man • Look how dimash slightly adapted his vibrato to better match Aida or Lara • Also there is a debate about the final note, held for such a long time, with the conductor looking at Igor and Igor smiling: Did they make a prank to the singers by extending this last note? Or did the singers instead played with them? I personnally think this is more option 1 😀 • I forgot to add that Lara has been classically trained for more than 10 years at Brussels Royal Conservatory and still continues to receive voice lessons on a daily basis. And she has sung many times opera pieces or with opera singers. • Final note to say that Lara Fabian wrote the lyrics of the song Your Love for Dimash

If you listen to it again, you might notice that Dimash syncs his vibrato perfectly with Aida, and then changes his vibrato to match Lara. During rehearsals Aida had to leave the practice to go to the loo, upon leaving she said that if I’m not back you can have Dimash sing my part, 😅
It is my experience that Dimash blends beautifully in every ensemble, duet, trio, or quartet. I so love this performance. The strong chemistry that Dimash shows for his idol Lara is so heartwarming. That big happy smile from Igor is the 🍒 on top of a perfect performance. 🥰🥰Hugs from Canada🌹💚🇨🇦

Aida Garifulina is an extremely famous opera singer, particularly in Russia. I believe that Dimash has sung with both women before and Igor has brought them together on purpose, in duets and this trio. You can see how happy Igor is!
There was a fairly quick rehearsal the day before. Lara was also sick. I think this is a testament to what professionals at the top of their game can pull off.

Igor Krutoy (the bald guy on the Steinway) is a famous Ukrainian and Russian music composer, performer, producer and musical promoter. “Rhapsody of ice” was the name of Igor Krutoy's Anniversary concert, where Dimash Kudaibergen sang on November 3, 2019. It was an extravaganza of music, dance and sports, a show by world-famous musicians and outstanding figure skaters. Performers included Lara Fabian, Aida Garifullina, and Andrea Bocelli, among others.
Aida famously said, during the rehearsal of this performance, “ Dimash you don’t really need us. You can do this all alone, since you can sing all the parts!” Igor Krutoy composed this wonderful trio many years ago, as a crossover piece, featuring two opera singers and always, Lara Fabian . Look at the famous and wonderful performances by the late, great baritone, Dmitri Hvoretovsky, and a couple of different sopranos with Lara Fabian. That man’s voice, for his range was unbelievably rich , which is why he was considered one of the greatest operatic baritones ever. The piece was written in the manner that the singers sing to. The notations in the music are specific for the different voices and obviously nobody else outdoes the other - there is respect for the composer’s vision of the piece. I certainly do not expect any of the three to try to outsing the other, especially with the composer present and musical notations in place. That is why this performance, of this piece, in itself is absolutely gorgeous. It usually is. Because Igor Krutoy is a genius. Do Watch Dmitri’s performances of this beautiful piece. The first jubilee show was held at the Barclays Center in NYC. What else we can say after this performance? It is absolutely beautiful , they are perfectly harmonized, their voices are astounding !! Aida Garifullina is a former member of the ensemble of Wiener Staatsoper and she is considered one of the best singers of her generation. На них мы изучали нотную грамоту, слушали классическую музыку и в основном классических оперных певцов (намного меньше было эстрадных исполнителей). На виниловых пластинках (сейчас большинство наверно уже и не помнит что это такое). Многое из нами прослушанного мы не понимали, ни смысла, ни слов. И молодая учительница (почти девушка, только только окончившая педагогический институт) нам всегда говорила: "Дети! Научитесь слушать музыку не ушами, а сердцем!!!". Тогда мы ее не понимали и (чего греха таить) даже осуждали за эти слова... Прошли года, даже десятилетия, и я начал понимать на сколько та учительница (по сути почти девочка) была права!!! Для восприятия хорошей музыки совсем не обязательно понимать о чем именно поют. Главное что эта музыка будит в тебе (где то очень глубоко внутри тебя)!!!

Extraordinary, first rate, just to say that Lara does not have an operatic voice, she sang with her normal voice so to speak and that gave another touch to the song, operatic voices plus a contemporary voice..... and of course Dimash got into mode Opera (we know it has more voices) and the 3 voices are a delight. ❤

Aloha! I think you will like Hua Chenyu as well! He is more the rocker-rapper type that mashes genres into masterpieces like Dimash! Very unique in a more theatrical way. Start with Great Sage Equal to Heaven, Jackdaw Boy, Nunchucks, Ti-Quan and Bullfight to start. While Dimash’s fans are dears, Hua Hua’s fans are Martians. I think Hua Hua is as near to Dimash in being geniuses, unique and connecting with their fans; down to earth types!
It sounds to me that even though Dimash remains the classical sound through out, he did adjust the detail slightly between singing together with Aida and Lara, With Lara he makes less vibrato and more straight voice, while with Aida it's more vibrato, by e.g. comparing the same phrase staring at 5:27 and 8:40.
Not really well rehearsed, I think, the three of them met up for the first time in the ice rink to rehearse, and Lara was sick as a dog! Of course she had sung the Krutoy piece before with Hvorostovsky, RIP, but singing with Dimash was all new.❤
We don't need translation! , When you go to OPERA you are not looking for line to line translation, it is ridiculous ( Esp. opera being in other languages). Do you sing classical Italian opera?

In fact, after some of your comment regarding Aida and Lara, I did fell you were misogynistic (or patronizing) like if Dimash was to another level. HE HIS NOT, at least, from my point of view. I usually like your review... but not that one. NOTE : I am not particularly a fan of Dimash... Lara Fabian was an inspiration for Dimash, Diana Ankudinova, Aida Nikolaychuk and many others Russian singers. She is also an inspiration for many of Canada singer to a level similar to Celine Dion. She is very popular in Europe and did sing with a number of Opera singers such as Luciano Pavarotti. As a singer, she has done duet with Serge Lama ("Je suis malade Author"), Johnny Halliday and numerous others artists.

Igor Krutoy (the bald guy on the Steinway) is a famous Ukrainian and Russian music composer, performer, producer and musical promoter.
“Rhapsody of ice” was the name of Igor Krutoy's Anniversary concert, where Dimash Kudaibergen sang on November 3, 2019. It was an extravaganza of music, dance and sports, a show by world-famous musicians and outstanding figure skaters. Performers included Lara Fabian, Aida Garifullina, and Andrea Bocelli, among others.

Aida famously said, during the rehearsal of this performance, “ Dimash you don’t really need us. You can do this all alone, since you can sing all the parts!”
Igor Krutoy composed this wonderful trio many years ago, as a crossover piece, featuring two opera singers and always, Lara Fabian . Look at the famous and wonderful performances by the late, great baritone, Dmitri Hvoretovsky, and a couple of different sopranos with Lara Fabian. That man’s voice, for his range was unbelievably rich , which is why he was considered one of the greatest operatic baritones ever.
The piece was written in the manner that the singers sing to. The notations in the music are specific for the different voices and obviously nobody else outdoes the other - there is respect for the composer’s vision of the piece. I certainly do not expect any of the three to try to outsing the other, especially with the composer present and musical notations in place. That is why this performance, of this piece, in itself is absolutely gorgeous. It usually is. Because Igor Krutoy is a genius.

Aida, Lara and Dimash shared the stage to perform Ti Amo Cosi for the famous pianist, composer and producer Igor Krutoy’s jubilee concert dated to his 65th anniversary and held at the VTB Arena in Moscow. The first jubilee show was held at the Barclays Center in NYC.
What else we can say after this performance? It is absolutely beautiful , they are perfectly harmonized, their voices are astounding !! Aida Garifullina is a former member of the ensemble of Wiener Staatsoper and she is considered one of the best singers of her generation. Look at Igor’s face, his beautiful compositions performed by these amazing singers in a spectacular arena!… the best birthday celebration!!! ❤️🎤🌹🌹👏👏👏👏

Это было более 50 лет тому назад. Тогда еще был СССР и я учился в школе. Один из самых бесполезных и бестолковых уроков (как нам, детям, тогда казалось) были уроки пения. На них мы изучали нотную грамоту, слушали классическую музыку и в основном классических оперных певцов (намного меньше было эстрадных исполнителей). На виниловых пластинках (сейчас большинство наверно уже и не помнит что это такое). Многое из нами прослушанного мы не понимали, ни смысла, ни слов. И молодая учительница (почти девушка, только только окончившая педагогический институт) нам всегда говорила: "Дети! Научитесь слушать музыку не ушами, а сердцем!!!". Тогда мы ее не понимали и (чего греха таить) даже осуждали за эти слова... Прошли года, даже десятилетия, и я начал понимать на сколько та учительница (по сути почти девочка) была права!!! Для восприятия хорошей музыки совсем не обязательно понимать о чем именно поют. Главное что эта музыка будит в тебе (где то очень глубоко внутри тебя)!!!

Extraordinary, first rate, just to say that Lara does not have an operatic voice, she sang with her normal voice so to speak and that gave another touch to the song, operatic voices plus a contemporary voice..... and of course Dimash got into mode Opera (we know it has more voices) and the 3 voices are a delight. ❤

Maybe Dimash chose this sound (not really bariton, not pop) to match with both ladies. It`s so beautiful to see igor Krutoy (composer at the piano) with his happy face. This evening was in honor to him with "his" artists.

Aloha! I think you will like Hua Chenyu as well! He is more the rocker-rapper type that mashes genres into masterpieces like Dimash! Very unique in a more theatrical way. Start with Great Sage Equal to Heaven, Jackdaw Boy, Nunchucks, Ti-Quan and Bullfight to start. While Dimash’s fans are dears, Hua Hua’s fans are Martians. I think Hua Hua is as near to Dimash in being geniuses, unique and connecting with their fans; down to earth types!
It sounds to me that even though Dimash remains the classical sound through out, he did adjust the detail slightly between singing together with Aida and Lara, With Lara he makes less vibrato and more straight voice, while with Aida it's more vibrato, by e.g. comparing the same phrase staring at 5:27 and 8:40.
If you want to hear a wonderful duet with Lara, i recommend " tu es mon autre", with Maurane

Not really well rehearsed, I think, the three of them met up for the first time in the ice rink to rehearse, and Lara was sick as a dog! Of course she had sung the Krutoy piece before with Hvorostovsky, RIP, but singing with Dimash was all new.❤

Lara Fabian was an inspiration for Dimash, Diana Ankudinova, Aida Nikolaychuk and many others Russian singers. She is also an inspiration for many of Canada singer to a level similar to Celine Dion. She is very popular in Europe and did sing with a number of Opera singers such as Luciano Pavarotti.
As a singer, she has done duet with Serge Lama ("Je suis malade Author"), Johnny Halliday and numerous others artists.

I dont understand why some people need to see the artist suffer, be tortured somehow or be eccentric and weird in order to consider them an artist with a soul and heart.. Healthy, stable people too can be great artists and touch peoples heart..as Dimash has been doing.

А российские фигуристы, замечательно визуально сделали это выступление, окончательно великим. Это возможно только в России.
