Lara was very sick that night. The night before during the rearsheal she said to Igor (the master/pianist and her close friend since 2005) tha she was feeling a strong pain, that the medicine she took wasn't enough to low the fever and she would be talking a stronger shot to get better. She alsos has been facing a painfull situation called "meniere disease" since 2013 when her sound engineer almost blew up her both eardrum and she had to cancel her entire world tour and keep in treatment over a 1 year, since then she hasn't been able to hear herself properly, she said that she lost at least 15% of her hability to hear. That's a lot when we think that she is classic trained and always use to have a perfect pitch. Lara is joined by Sumi Jo and the late Dmitri Hvorostovsky (an artist admired by Dimash, there was a hologram performance by him at the concert you've reacted to), with Igor tickling the ivories as usual. I saw the whole show. It is great. It is a dream. Igor Kutoy, which is the guy at the piano created this show to his 65 birthday. He is a very famous composer and he and Dimash are a very good combination. Funfact, Igor Krutoy is one of the judges from the videos you saw from Diana Ankudinova.
Aída is Russian and considered one of the best sopranists of our time. Actually she is the Primadonna of the Vienna Opera

This event took place on the occasion of the 65th birthday of Igor Krutoi (here pianist) in 2019, the same guy from the other video 😁. Can there be a nicer birthday? So far, Igor has composed several songs for Dimash and many songs in 30 years for Lara Fabian and other singers. Most of the songs in this concert were by him. Lilia Vinogradova wrote the lyrics and is known as a permanent co-author of the composer Igor Krutoy, with whom has created wonderful works in the crossover genre. She writes poems and texts for Russian and foreign composers and many well-known artists in Russian, Italian, English and French. Krutoy and Vinogradova created the cycle for DA Hvorostovsky, albums for Sumi Jo, Anna Netrebko, Yusif Aivazov, Lara Fabian and others. Incidentally Matt you might like this performance from New Wave 2011. Lara is joined by Sumi Jo and the late Dmitri Hvorostovsky (an artist admired by Dimash, there was a hologram performance by him at the concert you've reacted to), with Igor tickling the ivories as usual. Some great acting in this (they had more space). One of Dmitri's last performances as he was dying of terminal brain cancer was an open-air one in Germany with Aida Garafulina.

Aida is Russian and she’s the Prima Donna Soprano from the Vienna Opera House. One of the top 5 sopranos in the world. Dimash did beat her in the Russian Opera competition with Olimpico though.... Great reaction to a fantastic performance from these 3 masters! Greetings from England!
