I watched your video once and followed the instructions…your recipe was soooo good! I couldn’t find this video until today even after liking and subscribing to this video, I put this video on saved today!
Thank you for your recipe. It is very easy to follow I think I will be able to do it . Wonderful! I didn't know it can be done it that way. I will try to do it
I’ve watched plenty of kare kare videos before I decided to follow yours. It was delicious! Especially if one wants the PBish variety. Thank you for sharing!
Hi! Chef your kare-kare looks super delicious. Your procedure is so great. I'll copy your version in cooking this recipe. Thank you so much for sharing. ❤️ 🙏 God Bless.
Hello, I’m a Fan. Your recipe is the best out of all that I’ve previewed and screened. I need advice as how to thicken the Kare - Kare Sauce? I think I may have added a bit more water than required. Please help, thank you! 🙏
Amaris D If you added more broth than you’d like you can just let it continue to simmer until the sauce reduces and thickens to your desired consistency. I’ve seem some people add cornstarch though and that will certainly do the job of thickening the sauce. This could be an option if you prefer. Just dissolve a little cornstarch with a little cold water first before slowly adding it to the sauce. Just make sure to continually mix the sauce while adding the cornstarch so the cornstarch does not lump up. Be careful also with adding too much as the cornstarch takes a few seconds to cook and thicken, so just gradually add it until you get the desired consistency. Hope this helps 😊
Yes you certainly can. You just have to know the right time to cook so as not to over tenderize it as the meat might fall off the bone before you even get a chance to mix it with the sauce.
I toasted the annato seeds with oil. What you do is you heat up the oil first, then when hot (around maybe 375 to 400 deg) turn off the heat, then add the annato seeds and let the residual heat of the oil extract the color from the annato seeds. Then just strain the oil and discard the seeds. Enjoy 😃
@@pinoyRN67 I think it is more for color. In this kare-kare recipe, it is the broth made from the oxtails as well as the Lily's peanutbutter that add greatly to the flavor.
Our recipe does not add any shrimp paste during cooking. You have the shrimp paste on the side (like a condiment) and add it to every bite you make when eating 😊
yes you can, but the tripe has a certain distinct taste, so if you are ok with that you can boil them together. but if you like more of that beefy flavor it woild be best to separate boiling the tripe 😊
You can boil them together if you don’t mind the offal taste of the tripe. Also the time it takes to tenderize can be different for the tripe and the oxtails. Me personally I prefer to boil them separately and use only the stock from the oxtails for the sauce. But you can certainly boil them together if you want. 😊
I never liked using bottled peanut butter, it taste processed. The traditional recipe was always fresh peanut butter. This will only take 5-7 minutes and the taste is heavenly. And cabbage….
You can certainly do that if that is your preference :) especially if you would want your peanutbutter to be just plain. The Lily's peanutbutter I used in the recipe is a bit sweet, so depending on what you prefer, grounding your own peanut butter is certainly a great idea :)

I may say the best of all. Tyy
thank you very much :)
Ma czar rupp😋😋😋
hey bro I’ve noticed you did not add glutinous rice flour make the sauce thicker, and how long did you cook the veggies?
Can you use pressure cooker instead to make the boiling/tenderizing of the meat faster?
Yes you certainly can. You just have to know the right time to cook so as not to over tenderize it as the meat might fall off the bone before you even get a chance to mix it with the sauce.
"Meee-Jume" Legit filipino uncle
Can i cook oxtail in a crock pot slow cooker instead ?
Yes definitely! Just check until the desired tenderness is achieved. 😊
Did you boil annatto seeds with how many cups of water? Then discard the seeds later?

@@maczarruppdelicious3820 thank you brother God bless are you in the USA?
@@maczarruppdelicious3820 is the Annatto seeds for flavor or just color? back in the Philippines we have annato tree in our backyard

yes you can, but the tripe has a certain distinct taste, so if you are ok with that you can boil them together. but if you like more of that beefy flavor it woild be best to separate boiling the tripe 😊
I want Karekare
Why you didn't cook the tripe and beef boil together?
