Finally! Refined Storage was acquired! No more annoying inventory management! Good job, Mr. Bottle! This will really boost your progression on Vault Hunters!
Yess. This is amazing! 2 tips for you. 1: Do NOT store your Vault gear in the system. With it I mean your armor and such, especially the unidentified ones. Because the amount of NBT data that goes in them can potentially break your world. Gems and such should be more than fine though. 2: Move the importer from your Dank Dock on the bottom. And for your next mod (you still have 1 knowledge point) I'd look into the Modular Routers mod. It can help automate a lot of stuff. For example the Dank Dock being emptied and being put in storage or something. Long comment is long. Lmao. But looking forward to both the new series and the next episode!
An easy way check wich items need drawers is to chuck everething in the system and then remove the conection to the drawers, than you can just decide that every item wich i have for exemple nere than 500 of gets its own drawer Love the vids btw❤❤
Your drawer controller can lock/unlock all the connected drawers so you might have clicked that with the key which unlocked the drawers :) Also keep an eye on how full your drawers are because the items will just flood your disk drives when the drawers fill up. Highly recommend compacting drawers for the compressable blocks since it takes up way less drawer space and you can pull out 1x or 2x blocks if you wish and also throw in 2x blocks from the vault without uncompressing them.
It will also remove a saved item if there is zero in the drawer at the time so I didn't want to risk it and have to get another if that was the case. Compacting drawers right now are way to expensive but something I will be adding later. Just so you know I have a world I stream on that I'm level 165+ and have been playing with drawers and RS for months :) Just funny that after so long you can forget how you did such a simple thing like add the filter icon. But I mostly have it covered don't worry :D
I can't wait to get the timelapse music out again :D plus a lot of fun stuff I can do with fabric mods to make it a little extra fun to watch. I'll still be smashing the Vault hunters though :) don't worry
Put the importer under the dank dock and a block behing the dock and hopefully that resolves the issue with the danks poping out at the back (you will need to move a cable or two for the disk drive to do this)
3:14 the lighting issue can be fixed by going to config folder and opening the forgeclient.toml and setting experimentalForgeLightPipelineEnabled to true
Best way to fix the water needs of your thermo generator is with a Sink from the cooking mod. Attach a Faucet to the sink so that it will also connect to the generator and dont forget to turn the faucet on. The sink can generate infinite water, I've done this in my base, so feel free to check one of my recent videos to see the setup if this isnt clear. It's a little expensive (needs a pog) but its a no fuss maintenance free solution.
I've thought about it for the AD but still not sure. Gotta start thinking about how far I will get before 1.18 version comes out so I can't think of getting "everything" you know? Going to try and find a nice stopping point.
Skip the RS cables! They’re super expensive. Just make up a remote transmitter and remote receiver block and place that next to the controller! They’re close enough together you won’t have to worry about chunk loading either.
@@BottleTopHornet I thought you could deposit in the slave normally. maybe sticking the slave underground and lefting the main one on your spot might work as you want too, at least cables should interact with it...
@@BleachWizz I think I'm going to put a controller slave connected to the trim underneath the area but not put an external storage on it. I think the double external storage being connected caused the main problem 😊
Try enclosing the dank dock on all sides w/ the cable (import) below it so it steel doesn't show up. Great video as always!

Its so amazing! I've been so excited to finally have it back 😊
I have used RS loads of times but never new about the mod filter. Thanks
It's genuinely so helpful!

Yeah I've done this multiple times and have experience with organising it all like that :)
i need your "hellos" in my life
Love the video man, refined storage has got to be one of the biggest change of pace in the modpack. Makes life so much better
Its absolutely a tipping point to where things start moving a heck of a lot faster! :)

@@BottleTopHornet ooh happy to hear that! ill try to catch your streams next time :)
such a great series. almost sad to see vanilla coming back. but then i remember the timelapse music - i missed it!

I will try this thank you!
You can use a supplementaries faucet and a sink to give water to the thermo generator automatically
Yeah I've done it before 😊 going to do something slightly fancier but it should still be cool!

Finally caught up with the series exited to see more progress😆
Mod suggestion: if you push into Mekanism the robot can be used as an unbreakable anvil, it needs power tho.

Love the series it has me waiting on tenterhooks for the next episode, thanks bottle
hello bottle, am super excited for the next season of vanilla!! I was wondering if you like playing on singleplayer or smps more?

They're ridiculously cheap though what do you mean?
💚
drawer slaves i think is what you want
Yeah I might add some up top under the drawers themselves to use. I was just hoping to have a main one under the system that was usable. :)
