    Great video!!! Thanks for sharing. It actually helped me to put him back together after I removed the spring. One of the wires came loose and your tutorial showed me where to solder it back. Those are some super delicate connections. Ouch. Kudos on another great video.

    that looks pretty involved. It reminds me of when I would take my toys apart as a kid. they rarely worked quite the same again. Thanks for the video Sony. Hopefully I will not be displaying this figure in bot mode in the future. Hopefully he will proudly be perched atop the rest of his body.

    did this fixed it perfect there was only one tiny issue. the way they had the spring put on the peg i had to wreck it to get it off but no big deal i was taking it out anyway.

    So good! Thanks heaps man, I always watch ur vids as they’re such a good guide with transformations and fixes! My Dracula and Lupis are the same with the heads popping off, should do a spring removal for them also! 🤙🏻

    I just put a different spring in it. It was rather simple to figure out give that it already had some visible screws so it was just a matter of finding more screws that was holding things in place. Damaging the wire isn't too much of a problem as it's just a simple LED wiring job.

  • @Archaeonomy
    @Archaeonomy 2 года назад

    Couldn't you clip some loops off the spring to weaken it and try to maintain the gimmick without projectiling the head?

    • @TMReviews
      @TMReviews  2 года назад +1

      Sure. But there is no coming back from that option if it doesn't work,.removing it I can always put it back

      @@TMReviews Good point, I may try subsituting in various other springs instead, maybe cannibalise a ball point pen.

      @@TMReviews Usually when a spring is too 'strong', it could be that (1) the spring is too stiff, or (2) the spring is still in compression even without the head on. I'm thinking maybe clipping off 1 or 2 loops of the spring could solve the issue, yet maintain the gimmick

  • @TheBrianSwanson
    @TheBrianSwanson 2 года назад

    I wonder if someone will create a spring with less tension so you can maintain the gimmick without the annoying pop offs?
