I have enjoy these teachings. I was raised in a Catholic home however, got away from the Catholic church in my 20's. I married a man who was Baptist and I went to a Baptist church and felt so welcomed by the parishioners I after 6 months accepted their teachings.
I so enjoy your teachings I never really understood the Catholic teachings. Now as an older adult have felt the pulling back into my Catholic faith. I hope to continue my knowledge and thank you for your explantions of all the Catholic Church teachings.

Confirmation is the sacrament that is also given to those who convert, who are already baptized in another 'denomination.' Thank you Fr. Chris, this is so wonderful to know. I love this church. I was blessed to have anointing of the sick when I had a stroke and I got so much better! It was four years ago, and I had just become a Catholic two years before that:) God loves me, and keeps me here for a purpose, to get my family to heaven.

Dear Fr Chris,
When I listen to your 'explanation of the faith' talks I realize how blessed I am to receive these teachings which are so enlightning. With such enlightenment, an appreciation and thirst for the graces which God showers on His children grows tremendously in one's soul. The teaching on the Sacrament of Confession helped me delve deep within myself and helped me make the best Confession of my life. What a flood of amazing grace flows into the soul when one approaces the sacraments with knowledge for what they are and what they do. I now savor every word of the Eucharistic prayers and worship is so much deeper.
I have also received the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick when I was seriously ill a few years ago and my 3 children who were little at the time thought I was going to die. Miraclously by the amazing grace of this Sacrament and God's gracious will for my life I am here today to learn even more richly from holy Mother the Church, through you, the power of the sacraments which are available to us Catholics. This won't be my privilege alone, Sharing this knowledge of the truth of our faith is a great joy. Be assured it has made it's way into India too. I don't 'spare' a single video. It flows out. Measure upon measure of grace needed here too.
I apologize for this long message Father but I felt so complelled to share this. May God bless you for the tremendous efforts and sacrifices you make to enable us to receive God's graces. In my prayers is the entire Marian community.

Father Chris, you have explained the sacrament of Confirmation in a very perfect way to understand and share with my granddaughter who asked me to be her sponsor this year as she makes her Confirmation! I will write up notes and share them with her! I remember all you spoke about when I made my Confirmation many years ago and unfortunately the young people are not learning in depth what Confirmation really means! Father Chris, I'm so grateful for all the time and effort that you put into making these lessons for all of us. I enjoy learning about our faith week after week with you.
In reference to the last rite sacrament I asked my priest to give it to my father last month after having a heart attack. He was not Catholic but an Episcopalian. I needed my priest to come for my peace of mind knowing how beautiful and important this sacrament is for the dying. Though hesitant, he came and performed this sacrament for my father. I spoke with my priest about it two days later and he told me he saw a glisten of light in my father's eyes that evening which made my priest feel good about giving the sacrament to him. My father passed three days later and though I miss him so much I rest in the comfort of knowing that my father is with God and not the evil one. I will forever be grateful to my pastor for doing this for him.

Thank you Fr. Chris. I originally watched this teaching a year ago. The anointing always stuck with me. Last month my father passed away in a Catholic Hospital. I was amazed when after the first doctor explained my father's condition, she asked me if I had any questions? I responded "No, but how do I get the priest here to anoint my father?" I still remember the doctor's jaw dropping to the ground. She had no idea what I was talking about. The next morning, I asked a different doctor that I knew the Catholic Priest passes through here daily, how do I get him to anoint my father? Again a bewildered response from this doctor. Eventually I got onto somebody who understood and the priest arrived a couple of hours later. My father had just enough energy in him to do the sign of the cross. My father knew what was going on. The next day my father died. Thank you Fr. Chris. For not this video I would not have pushed so hard to get my father anointed. It was ironic though that the doctors in this Catholic Hospital had no idea what I was talking about.

We had regular anointing of sick at masses at intervals most were elderly but not all

Just makes me sad, my daughter went through the first year of class for confirmation. She was upset with the way that most of the children did not know their religion, didn't go to Mass and she was the only one that know the answers. They went on a retreat and each was assigned a buddy, she had a female buddy, some of the other kids started saying that they were interested in each other. She was very upset and refused to return for the second year. Why can't children that went to Catholic school have special classes that don't require 2 years? Oh, and the retreat place had holes in the walls and rats where running in and out. sigh! I was confirmed as a baby in Mexico.
Hope she can complete it. Also talk to her about relationships. Those who were assigned buddies of the opposite sex weren't in relationships either. Encourage her to complete
