I feel like Kuwilileni didn't adjust the bra correctly
You could tell she didn't. She was complaining that it didn't fit yet she didn't even try to adjust the strap, and we all know that it's very easy to adjust a bra strap and that finding the most comfortable setting for your bra isn't hard, you just need to put in the effort but she didn't even have second thoughts on her opinion of the piece she bought she flat out rejected it without hesitation.
I’m not sure; the issue didn’t look like length of straps issue but a band issue

Her friend also said the underwear was totally squeezing her when she showed it, so it was just the bra that was the issue. And im sure she did adjust the bra to begin with, that's kind of obvious.

We offer free alterations or exchanges for all of our styles. It seems like Kuwilileni is having some fit issues that could be solved by going up a band size. She could also adjust the bra a little more for a better fit The shoulder straps are fully adjustable and the back of the bra has a hook with 3 rows of adjustment.

Michelle Lopez I feel like there was a possibility that she might have not adjusted all the straps. Cause in the sample one, it looked like you can tighten and release some of the straps. Seemed like the cup size was correct but the straps were a bit off

@@noemieo.2501 thats not how corsets work that usially means its too tight and make sure its the right size corsets if worn properly with the tight precautions wont cause pain or yrouble breathing at most if done properly it should feel uncomfortable as its changing your posture and small changes along those lines and if they were opressive why would many people today still choose to wear them. People wear them bevause they change posture and make them feel opposite thus in fact doing the opposite of oppression

A lot of the Buzzfeed girls are better about mentioning it in the vids, but it's usually an offer the site/designer has that the girl in the vid cannot take advantage of due to a time crunch with the vid shoot. They definitely should have noted that though.
True, but when it's custom made for your body, after proper measuring it's really strange if something didn't fit. The average person doesn't want to go to a fitting and then have to send the item back and forth or go back and forth to adjust. Kind of defeats the purpose of the custom made item. For all that, you could just be going back and forth to a regular shop or be ordering online.
Michelle Lopez I grew up watching my mother get some custom made outfits for her, and she needed 2 or 3 fittings before getting the outfit fit correctly! Mistakes also happen, especially with handmade things. So while it can happen to get the perfect fit in one session, its pretty rare

As someone who is a 30J and can't even find regular bras, I'm laughing at the reasons they gave for "needing" custom lingerie. All of them could be solved with mix matching top/bottom sizes and shopping elsewhere or at a less popular time

Just checked and pricing isn’t bad all at for lingerie and it’s so awesome that they do free custom sizing because that’s normally so much more expensive

I work as a fashion major, bent over tables drafting patterns, cutting fabric, and bent over a sewing machine for 3-8 hours a day and wearing a corset is the BEST THING EVER when it comes to preventing back pain. It's super helpful and makes me feel sexy, comfortable, and supported. Definitely not "oppressed"
Do you have any recommendations for corsets? I have been meaning to buy one for everyday wear to help with my posture ( and I also love the look ) but not sure where to look for a legit one.

As an actress who has also worked in a costume shop (and built her own corset), I agree wholeheartedly. The best my back ever feels in when I'm in period pieces and supported by my corset. I hated to take it off after shows.
Cassy Stowe I don't think it's good for your back to have a corset doing all the work though. If you don't use your back muscles and core to hold yourself upright they will become weak and give you even more problems later in life.

Yeah I imagine you must be talking about a modern corset. Cause back in the day when it was expected of many women, it most certainly was oppressive. Corsets would shift your organs, restrict breathing & movement, and often make women feel light-headed and uncomfortable. That's what most people imagine when they hear the word "corset", so that's clearly what Kuwilileni was referring to.

It's not meant for support. It's a bralette and pantie set. They probably also do other lingerie with support, but bralettes have none

Disappointed in this video. I know the girls were trying on lingerie and they probably felt a little self-conscious about their body, but I would have liked to see more full body shots so I could get a look at how the lingerie fits and see if it can help me, especially as a plus size girl. Also, you guys should have put a price tag on all the pieces. And include an address/ website, too. I have no idea where this place is. The Twitter handle went by so fast. You all have made better content than this

This was sort of a bummer because it kinda seemed like the woman with the most mainstream-model body type was the most satisfied with the custom lingerie. I didn’t get the impression this actually worked for the two with non-sample size bodies, both of whom I relate to more and know many women do. Would love to see a part II where we find out if there are alterations or if there are other options for curvier figures.
Hey Savi, we totally understand that it was hard to see how the pieces worked for the other participants. I like your idea of a follow up video to see if the participants got alterations or how that process would go. We happily offer free alterations or exchanges for all of our styles. kuwilileni's set was beautiful. I think the lingerie maker really hit the mark on the design according to what her client asked for. Her cup size seemed to fit, it looked like it was more of an issue with the lower straps. If even after some adjustments on her own didn't work, i think the shop has a policy for returns to adjust the size

I never know what's going on with Kuwilileni's hair but she rocks it every damn time👏
Usually if something is "custom made" there is at least one (or) more fittings in a similar fabric just to make sure that there are no fitting issues in the final product . And although the fabric on Kuwilileni 's lingerie is lovely you can clearly see the visible white area under the lace on one side of the bralette ( to our left as we are watching the monitor ) is quite a bit smaller than on the right side . You can also see a difference in the sewing technique as the left area has deep stitching lines, and puckering, but on the right the sewing lines are smoother and not as noticable . TBH it appears to be more of a construction & sewing error than anything else, and I for one realize no one is perfect & we all make mistakes, but if I was still in the Fashion Technology program my instructor would have told me it was unacceptable, and to either tear it out (or) do it again .
