    Great video. It's a fools game or gamblers game, but nonetheless fun. I see it as a way for big whale NGC business partners/ coin dealers to move and get rid of otherwise lookwarm inventory for a better profit margin. Better to buy low mintage coins directly from the us mint.

    Literally juicing these boxes and charging a $200 markup on them compared to series 1 and I have literally never seen anyone pull a red insert slab out of one of these ever that wasn't scripted. People are literally flushing money down the toilet on these things, LMAO.

    This is the second video I’ve watched about these boxes, and I still really don’t know what’s happening except that NGC is making a buck. I wonder if they will ever produce enough of these so that those of us on a fixed income and not living in a mega mansion will be able to buy some, and more importantly would we want to 😂. Best regards dude. You’re the best

      This is the first time I've even heard of this..not going to deny, I do live unplugged the majority of my life. Went to the vaultbox website and still don't know what it's about or the cost even.
      I am pretty sure though that no company can survive selling merchandise at a loss so there's a gimmick in here somewhere. If there are higher quality boxes snuck in amongst the lot, retailers will figure out the weight advantages and snatch them 😊

  • @BullionBeast
    @BullionBeast Год назад

    I honestly think they just want to put 9.9 on the slabs regardless of what the coin looks like. Because 9.9 stands out more than a 10 for their new grading system. Like hey look at this new thing were doing. So they're going to just throw 9.9 on any slabs/coins.

    I like the concept of the vault box and feel like its makes the hobby a little more interesting (if you enjoy the gamble), but having a 800 dollar box filled with modern commemoratives, bullion, and cards just doesnt hit right.

  • @zenmazster
    @zenmazster Год назад +3

    Id like to offer an alternative perspective.
    I get how a lot of old school folks here think this is silly, and may be it is. I'm 47, new to thr hobby, and grew up collecting sealed packs of magic the gathering cards, which put a premium on the experience of opening random sealed packs to see what you get, much like topps baseball cards.
    If we're going ro get young people to grab the torch and continue bringing demand to this hobby's supply, i think this is a wonderful fresh way to do it.
    I'm not saying you should embrace it, but please don't scoff at it, give it a chance, pass it along as a graduation present for a son or daughter, or maybe a mention to a youth interested in the hobby.
    My first impression when i saw this video was wow cool! But them after reading all the comments, a bu ch of mild group hate, now im soured on the idea. My message, it may not be for you and thats fine, but consider it for younger generations to come. Thx all.

    I’ve watched a lot of unboxing these and don’t see a whole lot of hits starting to think it is a scam, and they sent one guy 42 boxes, and he flipped them all for 1300-1500, and only like two people got a 1/4 age, a lot of them were 3 silver coins too that just made me not want to buy one ever again. I did buy 1 series 2 from vault box. Idk I’m starting to think it’s scam, that us as consumers don’t have a fair shot at the big coins.

    NGC is confusing newcomers with this grading system. Why would they have two different grading systems? I would advise newcomers against buying these NGC new system coins. I would advise against buying the Vault Boxes. Buy the coin, not the holder...or the hype.

    Modern coins to me are basically boring. I was very fortunate to grow up in the '60s and early '70s . I would to go to my dad's pharmacy and search through all the coin rolls. As I posted once before this whole valt box thing is totally a gimmick just like back in my day went in the back of the coin magazines it would be the grab bags , the unsearched rolls and all that other nonsense. But I have to admit it was fun getting something where you had no idea what you were actually going to get even though when you finally got it it was basically junk.

    If people keep buying them then they will keep selling them. I personally say "they are not for me". I think its about time another group of investors got together to compete with them. If they are selling out this fast then there is seller demand. That demand must be met and YES it will be very profitable.

    Sorry, there is not one of those red coins I would want as a collectible. Sure they have a nice value but they don't appeal to me as a collector. I liked the proof ASE out of the coins you got, but it certainly wouldn't be a value for me to purchase. For me the most collectible part of all the coins you got was the holders. I don't hate this stuff, it just isn't for me.

    I wouldn't encourage this nonsense from NGC, the old saying a fool and their money are soon parted rings true. The Sheldon scale worked fine, using the 10 point scale is just Ngc's lazy way to condense the system and save them money, ever since that pmc company took over NGC they have slipped into the gutter, I'd advise discontinuing all NGC's services and crossing all coins to either PCGS or ANACS.
