I find it very fascinating that Christians say that persecution won't happen here. If you actually talk about your faith on a regular basis while evangelizing on the street you will find that persecution is Alive and Well in the church itself. If you stand up for the Bible and the Commandments of God, and more especially the Seventh-Day Sabbath, other Christians will slam you for your belief.
Persecution is also alive and well even inside the SDA church. My personal experience. I was told by a pastor let their sins be upon me because he wasn't preaching the truth and I called him out on it. Not publicly but privately.
Great outlining of what's happening to Christians. I live in Michigan too. Dr. Vine may remember the case of Karl Manke, a barber from Owosso who refused to shut down his barber shop. Keep in mind that "Where there's smoke, there's fire." If the enemy is putting THIS much effort into oppressing and destroying what God has ordained: There is a God!! Mr. Manke was harassed and drug into court for continuing to stay open to try and support himself and his family. He may just now be digging from underneath the legal bills. All may have heard of Pastor Artur Pawlowski, from Canada who dared continue his church services and chased out the police officers. In my opinion, any pastor or leaders refusing to address this persecution "lack discernment" or are complicit. Either way the blind can't lead the blind. Pay your bills as far in advance as you can. Have an emergency code word or phrase and backup plan in case you get drug off. Try to have a bail contingency plan and a safe place to go into hiding. The underground church should make a comeback. I pray that I can give that QUIET witness like the Hebrew boys.
The Lord's word (Bible) and the Spirit of Prophecy predicted that to stand loyal for truth and righteousness in the last days will be our test when true Advent Christianity is no longer cheap to profess we will witness fewer Champions. May we remain true and faithful to the cause of our Lord!

I was disappointed at the conference and their stand on COVID. There is a pastor in Tampa, not SDA, who was persecuted for not closing and I thought, this is where adventists need to be. Thank you pastor vine for keeping these things before us I saw it all around me and I wouldn’t get the vaccine and spoke out against the social isolation and air reducing masks, not popular to say the least
