I find it kind of funny how the character models changed so much over the games. The first one was super cartooney, the second one was stylized, and this one looks like they come from a korean webtoon XD
Those korean webtoons make so much money including the korean mmos so it makes sense for them to emulate it if it will bring in more money. Clearly it worked because of how much money they got so far in the kickstarter.
Hmm... maybe the manhwas I read are just much more stylized so I didn't see the similarities.😅 But it makes sense for a company to evolve right? Their games should continue on improving not just the art but also the gameplay. I'm sure there's some data backing their decisions as well.

I really liked the Sandrock style because it wasn't too goofy but it was definitly recognizable as a "my time" game. It's funny to observe the change but I hope they don't go full on realistic with the 4th game if they ever make one. The most jarring is seeing the 2D drawings of the characters and then their 3D counterpart in evershine. They really should also change the 2D art to fit the models.
Evershine looks so good! ❤ Ive been a fan of My Time since i back Portia. But I am so impressed with the improvements we'll get in the new game. Love this series ❤❤

I hope they let our character speak like in *Portia*. It felt really weird in *Sandrock* when someone had to speak on behalf of our character-it reminded me of mute Claude from *GTA 3*.
Yess! Don't worry... Evershine development is still at its infancy with the Kickstarter campaign--the target release of the game is 2026. So you still have time to play Sandrock which will have a free romance update soon! 😊
The developers are still unsure if they want to do an early access this time for Evershine, but if they do decide on it, it might feel like how Sandrock's early access was. But for now, the developers' current schedule calls for the full release of the game in Spring 2026.

I agree. The glider design and glider pose, the graphic style with the surroundings and foilage, the way the player characters jog and sprint; it all screams Palia. But luckily, aside from combat being present, there are plenty of differences to make it stand apart.
While nothing has been confirmed yet, my initial assumption of the multiplayer would be similar to sandrock where there would be around 4 players and that the server is player hosted... it probably wouldn't be an MMO
