I just realized the reason that Gordon was even in the test chamber that day(and why they stole his helmet) is because he literally pissed everyone off and was constantly walking around the facility like a dangerous, mute, lunatic. Also explains why he didn't have ANY biometric access and had to depend on other people to open secure doors for him. Also want to point out, the reason the scientists acted so weird to him makes perfect sense now. They were thinking 'Oh great, it's THIS FUCKING GUY. It's the worst day of my life, and everyone is dead.... And THIS FUCKING GUY is my best chance at making it out of this mess alive.'

I don't know if I'm the only one that feels it, but scientists, the way they look (specially the one that looknlike Albert Einstein and the one with glasses) the way they talk and what they say is oddly adorable for me.
I think that's because of NPC AI. If you look at an NPC for long enough, they turn to look at you as well. Sometimes if you continue to look at them, they will make a random response. For example with the Scientist, they may say something like "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" after long enough.

as far as i remember, the original OG Gordon's model wears a red HEV Suit like Colette Green but the PS2 model is identical to the artworks
