@@officiallygolden4084 firstly, you forget the man was practically just created atp. of course he was absolutely clueless about humans and how they function. he didn’t understand a single thing about them and he certainly did not understand the concept of death. he is a immortal puppet. scara and the young boy both promised eachother they’d live together forever, but with the boy suddenly dying from illness, scaramouche did not understand this and took it as a betrayal. he thought the boy had simply left like both ei and niwa did with no regards to his feelings. from a neutral perspective, the little boy obviously did not betray him, but to someone who’s already been abandoned twice and doesn’t understand the concept of death- he took this as a betrayal and the boy breaking his promise. obviously he would have realised later on that this boy could not have escape death. that’s a real silly reason to hate him. just say you don’t understand his lore lmfao
