When I was in japan it was pretty easy to find Street Musicians/performers, and I can understand why they play on the street, easy way for people to see the talent. Just look at Komatsu, just growing stronger :)

Back in the old days celebrities and stars had this kind of real talent. We have fallen really far from those times....

Me and some friends in birmingham half busk, half mess about and although we dont make any living off of it, you do get the daily reward of having a great time and meeting very interesting and very interested people. certainly a good place to 'play'
Even just watching this on youtube brought tears to my eyes. I can only imagine what it would sound like if he was live, and playing a real piano. I find it difficult to understand that this man is a busker and not a professional.
He is actually playing in halls. I'm a growing musician of talent similar to him and I intend on playing in the stage as well as the street simply to feel more connected to the people.
I enjoyed this performance very much but at the same time it makes me depressed to see such talent having to make a living like this. There are much worse musicians out there making a better living. This guy is very talented! Bravo!

Its really sad when people like this, that devote themselves to be such wonderful musicians, have to play on the fucking street. This guy obviously deserves more. Somebody make this guy famous, god dammit!
@BlackPlectrum playing on the street is not a form of begging in japan it's a way to get noticed by music producers walking around and get picked up and made into the big time...it's considered fun
16 years and it hits different every time. I hope this guy is still living his best life!
