Just had my surgery sa Neck (C6-7 ACDF) with implant last Feb 18. I tried to evade it for 5yrs until a recent minor car accident aggrevated it. To think m nurse practicing in US. Your feelings of fear, anxiety etc. is very legit. I am glad u hav ur BF n Bestie during this challenging time. I pray for complete healing n no abnormality in d tumor cellular growth. Going strong pa din upto this year especially now that we have our baby. I understand how Su Hyuk must have felt during those "waiting hours" . The anxiety of not knowing what went on in the OR/surgery room is beyond indescribable. It must have been the longest waiting hours of his life. It's a feeling you don't want to experience ever. When my partner had a minor surgery last November, I too had to experience the same. The vulnerability of our loved ones in the recovery room is also not a pleasing sight. It's heartbreaking. Hope you have recovered, Ms Kristel. Not just physically but also emotionally. I understand how Su Hyuk must have felt during those "waiting hours" . The anxiety of not knowing what went on in the OR/surgery room is beyond indescribable. It must have been the longest waiting hours of his life. It's a feeling you don't want to experience ever. When my partner had a minor surgery last November, I too had to experience the same. The vulnerability of our loved ones in the recovery room is also not a pleasing sight. It's heartbreaking. Hope you have recovered, Ms Kristel. Not just physically but also emotionally. Nag-undergo ako ng surgery last march 14. Without any member of the family beside me. 😢
