I watched Sonic 3 twice, but only cause my little cousin is a Sonic fan, and her mom didn’t even know it was out so I decided to treat her and her older sister to the movie, they both loved it Edit: I would willingly watch it again, I feel like I should make that clear
I kid you not, I usually go watch movies in cinemas once, I only repeat in case someone else wants to go and asks me if I want to join and the movie is okay-ish. Sonic movies are the only ones I willingly go numerous times on my own because they are so freaking good man.

It's a Canon Event that Sonic ends up beating a movie from a bigger studio all because they actually listened to the, um, aggressive criticism (it was literally just cyberbullying) from the internet for the first movie. First was Warner Bros and Birds of Prey, next was Sony and Morbius, and now it's Disney (Essentially the Final Boss of Media Corporations) and Mufasa.
@@Vigil325 Why I said Birds of Prey was that it released the same day as Sonic Movie 1 and why I said Morbius is because it released around the same time as Movie 2. The Flash released a little over a year later, though you can't tell because the CGI is worse than a movie from 2005.

at my local theatre, they did early screenings and sonic 3 was sold out in seconds while mufasa didnt even have a singular seat that is not a joke, no one was in any of the screenings and all the sonic ones were crowded so much that they had to give all of gladiator 2 and kravens screenings to sonic.

Sonic 3 has already nearly made all its revenue back before going global. When Sonic 3 decided to go toe to toe with Mufasa they probably expected this. There's no way that you can go up against the mouse and not get bit in some way, but the Sonic films have never shied away from challenging the status quo.
Also I heard that Disney wants to buy the Sonic franchise so that they can prevent them from getting overtaken every again. Disney really has to play dirty to win bro...
sega would never sell sonic in a million years. sonic is a franchise that has endured absolutely everything, and has carried sega through the ages, they would have to offer buying all of sega for the execs to even consider an offer from them, on top of that disneys poor performance these past 5 years means that other franchises have more room to grow and rake in cash, its in every executives best interest to cuck disney and get them out of the picture.

The Sonic movie 3 dominated here in Bulgaria. I have never seen the cinema in my city being so full and busy in my life. And it was going like that for the first 2 days after the release of the movie here.
the cinema I go to watch has 2 big boards showing some of the new films that will be shown on screen, but I only saw Wild robot and Mufasa. I was expecting to see Sonic 3 instead of mufasa cus I knew that mufasa was not a movie anyone asked for. Disney needs to change their ways
What else is gonna happen next? Something I observed in my local theater, over the opening weekend Mufasa did have more screenings, but now if you look it up Sonic has way more. It's like Disney was able to bully them over the weekend, but then once the opening weekend is over they have a little bit more leeway to choose who gets more screen time and they picked the movie that made way more money.
Sonic 3 was really great and yes, I agree that Disney is slightly irritated with this but that's probably just pride. After two billion movies this year and one that is currently on this road to this mark I am sure it will have nothing to do with financial concerns.
okay, im gonna be honest, this mufasa movie doesn’t seem to good in my opinion, ive seen the theatre version for it and it bored me out a bit, that might have been because it was pretty late and i had been walking round museums and some parts of london all day but still. sonic 3 has been a highly anticipated movie, disney just went ‘oh yeah, were gonna make a mufasa the lion king movie’ if im not wrong. sonic 3 was a good movie, i would definitely go to watch that again. ive made comments on other videos about this, one of the comments included “which one do you prefer, mufasa or sonic 3” and someone in the replies said “mufasa, sonic is for kids and mufasa has been around way longer.” kind person, if i am not mistaken, both are for kids in a way, mufasa was first made in 1994 and sonic in 1991. i believe 1991 is before 1994 but i might just be really bad at maths :) also, ‘songs are infectious?’ ive never sang along to a single lion king song, but when i heard live and learn, well thats a different story. i guess disney has to live and learn.

Just saw Sonic 3. I wanted to see Sonic 3. I don't go to the theaters just for anything. I never asked for a prequel for the lion king or want to see a snow white sub par retelling. Disney can keep plugging their ears to what fans are asking for and keep losing money.
Am French and watched Mufasa lemme tell you i was really dissapointed the story was confusing and was overall just a copy of the og lion king with some new additions on the otherhand Sonic 3 was a masterpiece and i think everyone can agree on that
The theater was PACKED when I went to the movie on the day of release and there was a reasonable amount of people when I went to it again on Friday, but it still pleased me that I played a part in Mufasa’s DESTRUCTION
I wanted to watch Sonic 3, but since it was "family time" I got outvoted and had to pay for my own Mufasa tickets. To top it all off, the movie tried to be funny with meta humor and made Scar an incel, so that made me more upset.

I saw Sonic 3 yesterday, it was the best of the three movies, and I'm seriously considering watching it again. Disney, you're just done at this point. Give up before you make yourself look even worse, because bullying theaters and forcing Mufasa onto screens made you look bad already.
Sonic 1 and 2 are on Hulu but Disney removed them from Disney+ (Via Hulu on Disney+). Got bitter that they accidentally helped their competitor beat their own movie.
I think the best way to understand the situation is that there was no "Barbenheimer" style meme,which we had for stuff like DOOM Eternal/ Animal Crossing. Nobody cares about Mufasa. Its carried by the Disney brand and even then thats iffy rn.
I have seen both and I thought mufasa was good but Sonic 3 was AMAZING and you really cant beat Jim Carreys Dr Eggman in that movie so my opinion the Sonic 3 movie was 10 out of 10
Not to be mean here but, it sounds like Disney is forcing their staffs and animators to buy tickets to watch Mufasa at the cinema against their will (like any sh!tty boss in a sh!tty company would) so that Mufasa can win against Sonic Movie 3. While everyone else gets to watch Sonic Movie 3 with friends and family and have a good time, not against their will. 3:53 happened to my family yesterday(we just waited for a later showing which was a big deal because it was 2 hours later at nearly 10 so we had to wait around the mall for that time and the theater is an hour drive from our home) Glad we didn't watch mufasa loved sonic 3

okay, im gonna be honest, this mufasa movie doesn’t seem to good in my opinion, ive seen the theatre version for it and it bored me out a bit, that might have been because it was pretty late and i had been walking round museums and some parts of london all day but still. sonic 3 has been a highly anticipated movie, disney just went ‘oh yeah, were gonna make a mufasa the lion king movie’ if im not wrong. sonic 3 was a good movie, i would definitely go to watch that again. ive made comments on other videos about this, one of the comments included “which one do you prefer, mufasa or sonic 3” and someone in the replies said “mufasa, sonic is for kids and mufasa has been around way longer.” kind person, if i am not mistaken, both are for kids in a way, mufasa was first made in 1994 and sonic in 1991. i believe 1991 is before 1994 but i might just be really bad at maths :)
also, ‘songs are infectious?’ ive never sang along to a single lion king song, but when i heard live and learn, well thats a different story. i guess disney has to live and learn.
I knew the moment sonic the hedgehog 3 came out on the same day as mufasa, I knew sonic wins this, and seeing the first trailer of mufasa, it looked terrible, like why did they do mufasa like that, but I’m more of a sonic fan, more particularly, a shadow fan. If shadow spoke to mufasa. Your a waste of time, never show your face again.
I'm mad that Sonic 3 id basically selling like hot cakes but is being held down not by the people but by te literal system from a evil cooperation.
Just saw Sonic 3. I wanted to see Sonic 3. I don't go to the theaters just for anything. I never asked for a prequel for the lion king or want to see a snow white sub par retelling. Disney can keep plugging their ears to what fans are asking for and keep losing money.

Am French and watched Mufasa lemme tell you i was really dissapointed the story was confusing and was overall just a copy of the og lion king with some new additions on the otherhand Sonic 3 was a masterpiece and i think everyone can agree on that

The theater was PACKED when I went to the movie on the day of release and there was a reasonable amount of people when I went to it again on Friday, but it still pleased me that I played a part in Mufasa’s DESTRUCTION

I wanted to watch Sonic 3, but since it was "family time" I got outvoted and had to pay for my own Mufasa tickets. To top it all off, the movie tried to be funny with meta humor and made Scar an incel, so that made me more upset.

I have seen both and I thought mufasa was good but Sonic 3 was AMAZING and you really cant beat Jim Carreys Dr Eggman in that movie so my opinion the Sonic 3 movie was 10 out of 10

I am not surprised since Sonic is very lovable and everyone loves him. The rest of the characters also, but ESPECIALLY Jim Carrey as Dr. Robotnik.
Not to be mean here but, it sounds like Disney is forcing their staffs and animators to buy tickets to watch Mufasa at the cinema against their will (like any sh!tty boss in a sh!tty company would) so that Mufasa can win against Sonic Movie 3. While everyone else gets to watch Sonic Movie 3 with friends and family and have a good time, not against their will.
And I bet the Disney HR and Accountant took their employees' money/salary against their will during their Dayoffs to spend on a bajillion tickets to Mufasa without their consent (just like an HR took my money during my Dayoff without my consent, and her Accountant friend listened to my sh!tty co-workers talking sh!t about me and take their side, until my salary got deducted).

3:53 happened to my family yesterday(we just waited for a later showing which was a big deal because it was 2 hours later at nearly 10 so we had to wait around the mall for that time and the theater is an hour drive from our home)
