I will start voting blue when Democrats stop elevating TRump MAGA candidates in Republican primaries. Look up online how Chuck Schumer's PAC has contributed over 2 million dollars to Bernie Moreno in Ohio. If Trumpies are so dangerous (which they are) then Democrats need to stop financially supporting them in Republican primaries

I lived in MA for 5 years, part of the time Mitt Romney was governor. I wasn’t terribly political and I was delighted that Romney went along with health insurance for all of MA. But then, that’s actually a very pro life (classic definition) stance. Not being from there, I don’t know what dems or republicans thought of him. But I know as a postdoc at a med school things were normal for me. Thank you for being true to yourself and your beliefs and ethics. It never would have occurred to me to dislike someone because they were a Republican. Most of my family is Republican and a lot of my friends are Republican. Until MAGA, well, maybe with the tea party, we didn’t give anyone’s party a second thought. Of course we agreed to disagree and that was that. And we would debate and I actually found it fun. It’s still a sickening feeling that MAGA, while they have taken over the party, aren’t remotely conservative, aren’t remotely Republican. I hope you find a political home soon, but on behalf of Dems I invite you to join us for as long as you can. I’m sure you will not stay, but I know you look forward to the time the temperature is way down and we can again, smile at one another and agree to disagree. Then change the subject!
