Slap battles is just filled with the most absurdly-impossible badges that take hours to get just to get garbage gloves, if tencell made badges actually enjoyable to get it would probably gain more players
If the badge is easy, people are complaining.
But if the badge is SLIGHTLY hard, people are still going to complain.
There arent even that many hard badges..

As a slap battles youtuber, I only feel like the game dies when they add a unoriginal and boring glove, but it does get pretty old when you play it over and over again. Like theres nothing to reach for once you have 100k slaps and most of the glove
they should add pro servers that only 100k+ slaps people can enter , and its a continuation of the game so for example, the flex is like the default

correction: The wild west died out due to the developers quitting as they were getting doxxed rapidly and felt they werent safe working there anymore hence there are no more updates, its honestly sad seeing a game with so much potential just die out due to enemies

There was a game called Legendary: The Forsaken Shore, it was a massive hit back in 2016-17. I asked a friend group I'm in if they remember the game and they had no clue. The game has around 20M+ visits, and I still play it from time to time today. Not sure if anyone else like Chizeled has ever heard of this game, but it brings me such nostalgia about when I used to play this game so much with my friends. Honestly wished when it was dying that it could be revived. There's no hope atp for the game now.

I've been a Slap Battles RUclipsr for well-over ~3 years now. It's not really dead...-ish. It averages 30,000 players. It used to average afew more thousands and if I want to be honest: People who say it's dying are just really trying to get some clout.
Other reasons why it could've died is: How easy you can be punished in the game... The community... But NOT p2w.
I'd blab for hours on end on this silly slapping game but you got the point!

SB works really similar to grg (Generic roleplay gaem) since ending killstreaks with low slap (~20k) count gets you targeted until you leave.
Some badges are absurdly time consuming but aren't even giving out somewhat usable gloves. People just spam psycho and reaper and laugh at people they cheap shot. Due to the nature of roblox and the meme, a lot of players in SB seems to act like they're 5 year olds, affecting the mentality of us 13+ players.
It's not a "silly slapping game" if you can't even play the game as a beginner 💀 💀 💀 💀 💀

A game you could talk about is Mad City. I know you already talked about it in a different video but the situation is different now. Recently, the game pretty much died mainly because the developers made many wrong decisions that made players quit. Even though the game still averages around 2K players, it is believed (Not confirmed) that many of them are bots and/or new players who play the game once then quit

the newer badges are either annoyingly hard to get, or just easy and boring. the newest one you literally just use fort above building height, frostbite was pretty good, obby wasn't too hard, first bit was a little annoying, but i actually enjoyed getting it.

The main reason why entry point died out was because the game was fully completed, not because of the story aspect. And the developer (Cishshato) has moved on to different projects, such as operators demo.
Apparently the real reason why booga booga is dying well it happens years ago, when that one update ruin everything, litterally reset everybody's progress to zero that means all of those hard works are for nothing

I like slap battles, I like when the badges are difficulty, but not tedious. Badges like retro and admin were some of my favorites to get, but I hate fish and trap, which are just tedious nightmares. And no, the game isn’t dead in the slightest. The main issue with a lot of people with this game is that they play it for too long. They say it’s ‘dead’ and ‘not fun,’ but that is cuz a lot of these people played for months on end. I played for around a week and am taking a break again. What I usually do is play for 1-2 weeks, take a few months break, and come back. You can see all of the new gloves added and stuff.
personally i think slap battles isn't dying in terms of player counts, as the 40k active you mentioned were right after an update
but it is kinda dying in terms of gameplay because it gets stale after you unlock everything

i’ve played slap battles and made content from it for nearly 2 years now. i will say that over these past few years, i have seen a lot of us youtubers come and go. i also do feel as if us that are left, have kinda slowed down as well on the videos. but i don’t think it’s done yet. the game isn’t as p2w as some believe. the game is perfectly playable without the use of robux. but i can definitely see that it has slowed down in terms of players online. but hey, to us that still play, a big update is coming and we will see if it is as huge as the bob boss!
Yeah, it ain’t really pay to win, it just requires you to put a lot of time in. You can basically get custom with megarock, error for overkill, and yeah. The 7x slap gamepass though it is a bit much imo, as it gets rid of a majority of time grinding.
I think the downfall with slap battle is the toxic players in the game, I was fighting with someone when I was laggy and they keep saying I was unconnected my WiFi and just got mad, and more people was being toxic until I had enough and stop playing
Toxic people are not the reason for an example the strongest battlegrounds is just filled with toxic people but its still very popular
As a slap battles content creator the game is defiantly dying only because most updates are basically the same glove for example the most recent plank glove is basically the obby glove and the frostbite glove is ice skate and the admin glove is retro 2.0

I love slap battles but many of the achievement gloves I just so happen to want pretty much needed a whole server to help you get it or which is already a bad idea for a achievement in my opinion. Not only that getting achievement gloves just wasn't really fun. For me it was just trying to find out how to get the glove then trying to get it but other people attack me and don't let me get it or it takes so long I give up and for some gloves you have to use a other achievement glove making it even more of a pain to get it.
I don't think having some achievements be hard is the main problem. The main problem is that they feel like chores.
In the end what I don't like about the game is it being pretty much a chore simulator in my opinion
same im forgotten about games is nico nextbots and pet simulator...
Nico’s nextbots is still very fun in 2024 I highly recommend you give it another chance

The group that made Entry Point made a new game called Operators it’s just entry point but less buggy.
I wouldn't say slap battles is dying, its just that most of the og players are quitting due to the boring gloves and trash badges. If they made another bossfight like eternal bob or started spending more time on the gloves instead of just a week then the gloves and badges could actually be fun to obtain.

Honestly the problem with slap battles is just some if the most impossible badges to get, like bro Bob,admin,megarock and frostbite are all insanely hard gloves to get. Megarock is just an annoying glove since it takes way too long to get. I like the gloves where it’s actually an enjoyable badge to get and the ability is actually cool.

The original booga booga died after an update for the game on April 12th, 2020. The update that killed the entire game over time.

I feel unhappy when people yell at slap battles for “pay to win” when there’s lots other that are popular and are pay to win, and the newer badges are good especially when there’s a new bossfight on Friday (at this time ofc). To gain players is just to let tencel have more time he still is working on a glove for a week straight and that’s why some are bad he has to rush updates sometimes.

The biggest problems with slap battles are: (1)its becoming boring. (2) IT cant get new players because it becomes too hard to progress. If you dont have experience you will get bored of dying basicaly.
Firstly, Slap Battles isn't in fact P2W, there's so many gloves that counter p2w gloves they have become useless now. OVERKILL can just be melted by ice gloves, spectator, uh, is spectator, CUSTOM is just MEGAROCK but cooler, gloves like tableflip, ping pong and track easily counter ultra instinct and you can take down titan's health very fast with dual.
Then, i think people are getting bored from SB because the game has become too serious. In the good old days, it was just a silly goofy little game made for fun, not anything else, and it adds on the fact that some badges are really difficult to get but the glove is trash (ex. the recently added Frostbite glove)

There’s over 50 maps to play through and some maps are really hard to beat and can take months of practice and even after you beat all the maps there’s still a bunch of cool other things in the game like the map highlights, the different gamemodes, map events, and community maps

Imo, there’s no REAL way to make unlockable badge gloves. If they are too easy, then the devs can’t make em too unique or OP. If they are too hard, people will complain since they can’t get them.
well they could do more stuff like the bob bossfight, or make hard badge gloves actually worth getting like fish (sleep for a hour with zzz) and easy badge gloves (like hammer) just be simple bad gloves.
they could also just try to balance the gloves more.
or they move to making a update every 2-3 weeks to make more interesting updates
Hot take: remake the entire phase 4 of the rob boss fight where instead of spam he has unique attacks for the phase like the mini bobbers on phase 3 and the sealing phase should involve teamwork in someway
A game that should be on here INSTEAD of slap battles is Tower Blitz or Tower Battles. Both used to be popular but now have pretty low player counts (I think both average around 500 to 1k players last I checked), and that sucks because they're both good, and for the reasons, I don't know why TB died but TBZ died because devs wanted to work on Evade instead so, there's that.
As a slap battles youtuber, i can confirm that slap battles is not dead, it has seen situations which it has started to die but, it is currently not. The reason is due to the fact that some updates can be very lasy, which means players start to quit.
It’s slowly dying, but not dead. Also, the community is a big problem with it, their toxicity and all the hacking

I used to be an og slap battler, I'm honestly GLAD that slap battles is dying. I'm quite angry at the devs for making the game alot more easier now. Back in my day, you didn't get "daily slaps" or straight up hackers helping you get badges. Their moderation is actually sh*t man too...

Slap battles isn’t dead it’s just boring. They don have big events anymore besides Halloween and Christmas. It just needs more ideas for gloves and badges.
To be honest I don't believe slap battles is dying and infact the opposite happened, during Christmas the game was down to 10k - 4k players and yet it managed to be revived. So that's why most of people said that the game is dying. Also the game will drop a huge update very soon in the future which will also boost its performance.
Slap battles would find a way to just come back. They've did it after the Eternal Bob and Null Zone dead era.
As previous player of slap battles i can say, admin of this game is soo toxic, my history: I'm got banned from slap battles in discord because not completed verification, after i trying to say admin to unban me, because I'm not conpleted verification, admin just laugh and saying bad thinks about me. After that i'm leaved from discord server and join into the slap battle and make myself banned because i don't want play game where admin more angry that players

slap battles isnt really dying. It does have some robux gloves but they aren't really p2w since the most powerful robux glove is overkill but you can still get better gloves that also oneshot for slaps. Also usually it gets around 30-40k players on Fridays/Saturdays (depending on your time zone) since it updates weekly and ppl would ant to get the new glove

I think flood escape should’ve have been more popular, yes there is only a couple of maps and the sequel has a couple more but there was actual effort put in it except slap battles or pet simulator 99 since most of the time you need to at least spend a couple robux to make the game entertaining, the rest of the mostly dead games are good just except those two, most of the dead games in this video was good and fun plus I think most of them are being updated is just that the Roblox algorithm only pick games that are trending with no real effort put into it, leaving the other games that had true potential dying at an alarming rate.
Also I think zombie rush is dying, treasure quest, field of battle, get eaten, hole in the wall and other games who had true potential but are dying due to the Roblox algorithm or other causes.

Haha funny thing I’ve been revisiting this game a lot in the past week and the reason it fell off is because you put on a one shot glove and toxic kids get very mad and then ppl team and abuse gloves which makes the game not fun to play and also the gloves used to be a lot of fun to use but now it’s getting old also idk if it’s just me but a lot of cheaters like joining and ruin the fun and also like any game it becomes less fun over time as you grow out of it

@@KoolKidsJuiceif phase 4 didn’t exist rob would be really easy but instead of making unique attacks that you can learn the patterns and figure out each try it’s just straight up spam which is really annoying not to mention the soft lock rob is essentially a glove with really good potential but it got wasted for an annoying boss fight hopefully the next one is better glove is really fun tho so I will give it that

@@KoolKidsJuiceyou can’t really spam rob it has a pretty long cooldown but rob itself isn’t actually a “good” glove it’s more of a glove to use for fun since it’s not supposed to be op or require skill the null portal also exists but I’m pretty sure if you open the null portal your cooldown becomes the longest cooldown in the game 5/10 glove would use
