  • Group of guys dancing to Yung Gleesh - "Walk Gleesh Walk". The dance they're doing is called Beat Ya Feet. It's a dance done to gogo music in the DC area. The dance was born in the late 90s. I hope you enjoy the video.
This video is not mines, rather someone else's I found on RUclips. I also do not own the rights to this song and am not using it for personal profit.
    Hope you enjoy

Disclaimer, this is not to diss because I’m aware of “Jook’n” and Memphis culture. Yes of course the origin of both dances is pop-locking but “Beatin Ya Feet” is a dance in the DMV (mainly DC & PG County MD) done specifically to GoGo music that’s been around since the 70’s. Gleesh is from DC and The production switch up at the end of Telephone Calls and the way Gleesh delivered his verse/did his dance is based off GoGo and Beatin Ya Feet, period.

@@Horac3I agree but the beat your feet started with the old heads in late 80s... It's a addon to one of the old dances. 90s kids made it better 00 perfected it...
