I love the older style double spring. I drilled 2 holes in the trugger playe and made a wooden pan large enough to fill the whole trap. Absolutly lethal in my box setup. Using the expanded trigger i get solid catches on reds amd grays.
I agree with David’s comments concerning the old trap (larger 5” version with twin springs); wish it had a larger plate (extended to right) and the release bar can potentially flick up at what has tripped it, striking the animal before the trap bar closes. Our trap was purchased with a box in UK for grey squirrels, with a 6” or so cube empty entry section leading to another 6” or so cube trap section. Each entry section has a small entry hole positioned to the right to keep rodents or squirrels to the right, and allow entry only from the front and prevent other animals entering, and still somehow, something set off the trap, bled heavily and left. No fur, no anything to identify what. Maybe a mouse struck by release bar and removed by something else. It is a good, well made, powerful and effective trap. I have watched all Koro videos available for shared tips from more experienced users. Thank you RUclips. Release pressure comparison in this video very useful. I prefer older more sensitive version. Be safe. Don’t ever get complacent with the safety!

I new styles all seem to vary a bit. You can however adjust them, by filing either a deeper “half moon” for more pressure or filing the tip of the “half moon” for less pressure.
Is anyone ever going to get these traps back in stock? Every place that sells them, including this one, all say Out of Stock or Not Available. Did they stop making them??

They were waiting on material for them, I got a notification yesterday that they finally got them and should be shipping shortly again.

Hello, we don’t ship to the USA but you can find them at www.wildlifecontrolsupplies.com. They ship across the US.
