BASIC HOW TO GUIDE ON THE R-NET LED CONTROLLER

In this video we look at the basics of the LED controller from R-NET. This is a simple video for those who are new to the controller either due to a new powerchair, controller upgrade or just need a recap on the essentials.

My puma chair has a led r-net controller.. My tilt up only works for milliseconds, i have to repeat until i get required tilt but it tilts down just fine.. I think its programmed for a certain torq.. My 4x4 chair has a colour lcd r-net and i can access the setup via key access.. I also have a spare lcd controller from a old permobil and it too goes into setup mode but only on the 4x4, is the key access setup programmed into the controller because ive tried and tried on my puma chair and it point blank refuses.. The chair was fine initially then the tilt started playing up, the actuator was replaced but that was faulty by dropping slowly even when off. Today, after many months that's been replaced, it no longer drops all by itself but now its doing what the first actuator did.. Does it need external dongle / laptop to set the key access setup flag so it can be programmed..

Hello my r-net controller flashes 8 charge leds with all the speed leds could any one tell me what the fault is, the chair works normally while this is happening thanks Paul.

Hello Paul, thank you for getting in touch. It does depend on the controller type/model but it could be a connection issue somewhere. The 8 flash LED code is normally for a control system trip. Hope this helps

Hello, thank you for getting in touch. The chair can be re-programmed via the R-Net programming software by directly plugging the laptop into the power module. This should only be done by a trained technician or engineer though and not by the user. Hope this helps
