Can I just say that how comfortable and confident you are with yourself helps me to be confident with myself, too. I appreciate you very much, not only for your amazing makeup tutorials, but also for your general attitude towards life.
I've never had any problems with Seche Vite, myself. It helped my nails always stay longer. Also, YOU ARE A LIFESAVER. I just got the Paris palette and I have been desperately trying to figure out how to do something that adequately shows the awesomeness of Triomphe without going overboard on color.
I just realized how long I have been watching your videos, I had a baby daughter barely talking when I started watching and she is now 6 yrs old and in 1st grade and she just sat down and watched your video with me and said 'wow she is good"! How cool huh?
Hi Cora! I just wanted to say that you remind me so much of myself! You're awesome! I love seeing other plus size women who still take pride in their appearance and aren't afraid to be themselves! Confidence is what true beauty is all about! And of course, just being an awesome person in general. So, yeah. Thanks for being such a great role model for other plus size girls who may feel pressure to be ultra skinny or feel the need to change.
This look is so gorgeous! My boyfriend would love it! He is always trying to get me to wear eyeshadow with different colors in it. He has been asking for awhile now for a hot pink look, but this is way more me lol!!!! Thanks for creating such beautiful looks!!!!!!
This is one of the best videos of yours I have watched, it's so educational and I didn't know half the stuff you told us! Thank you. The look is absolutely gorgeous, you pull it off so well!
I wear weird bright colors all the time, and I'm one of the only people at my school who does so. I got the guts to do it from you, because your bright makeup is always so beautiful, and I get so sick of seeing shades of brown everywhere. Thank you for that.
So after watching your hair dye video I went and bought the purple hair dye and put a huge chunk in the top of my hair. I put it in the middle so when I part it on the side it kind of peaks out. I LOVE IT!!!! Thank you!
I used Seche vite religiously for 8 months... I had to do my nails every day to every 3 days.. I now use a cheap topcoat from supply source and no longer have that problem. Cost 12-13 bux for 16oz! It's been over a year, and I still love it...
I'm a nail tech, and its probably chipped off due to oils that weren't completely removed before polishing. Also, it helps to buff the nail with a buffer, and use a cuticle stone to remove any cuticle grown onto the nail. :-) :-) it happens to everyone! Love your channel!!
I love your videos be for when i didn't were any make up people didn't even know my name and would never even notice me but now everyone is asking me were i learned to do my makeup and the same answer every time you my self of steam has gone up dramatically thank you so much.
It would be very similar, though I'm not sure Twinks is the right texture. My favorite concealer is a toss up between MAC Pro Longwear and OCC's new Concealer.
I think if you put too thick of a coat of Seche Vite it causes it to peel up at the edges. I've had that happen to me before, but usually if I do one coat as thin as I can get it I'm ok. I can't use that topcoat to make my manicure last longer though (the whole, put another layer of topcoat on every few days to make it last longer). Sidenote, you give some of the most detailed instructions for makeup application itself ever. It's wonderful!
this is my favorite video youve ever made. I just got the paris palette and Im so excited to try this look. Youre videos are ones that i watch as soon as you upload. So amazing!
lovely and love the lip color with it. I think I have seen so many video s trying to achieve this look but you pulled it off and the lip color sets it off.
The same thing happens when I use Seche Vite as a top coat too! It seems to last longer when I use a couple of thin coats versus several thick, glittery coats. I also found that when I was using a Sally Henson base coat the nail polish would flake off in one whole big nail chip even more quickly! Also, you're awesome.
Hey, Cora! I used to have the same problem with my nail polish too, and it drove me nuts. I even tried roughing up my nails a little hoping the polish would stick better, but it didn't help much.. I finally found a basecoat that sticks!! Its by Orly called Bonder Rubberized Laquer Gripping Basecoat, and OMG does it work! My nails will still chip but its little tiny chips and if I try to chip it off it doesn't come off in big chunks like it normally would. I love it, you should give it a try!
So as I am watching your videos tonight I am also watching game 5 of the NLCS and watching the Giants dominate the game that they have to!!.... but I am so happy to watch you too because you make me still feel a little girly watching make up as I watch sports!.... LOVE YOU!!
I would love some more looks from the Paris palette. I know YT gurus are constantly trying out new products but I was a little disapointed in the lack of tutorials by some of the contributors to the palette. Granted they are some of my favs... I just wish they would have done more than one tutorial each.
I love how you say, "I hope you're having a fantastic day" it makes me feel like there is a personal connection type thing going on :) love you and your vids!!
I love that palette! I love your hair, I love your videos and I love your personality, you have to be one of the most down to earth people I could ever hope to meet :)
I think you're so awesome Cora! Seriously every makeup look you do is so unique, and beautiful. Plus you describe everything so great, and it makes it super easy to recreate! You're amazing, and beautiful, and awesome in every way. :)
I used to LOVE Seche Veite, but I always had problems with my nail polish! I had huge shrinkage issues, bubbling all the time, and my nail polish would sometimes just come right off a nail like you mentioned! I do nail art more often than not and I spend a lot of time on it so I want it to last and look good! I recently switched to Out the Door upon hearing that it doesn't shrink and have not had any issues with it thus far! Its fast drying and high gloss too!!!
This is a GORGEOUS look! I don't have this palette, but I think I'm going to try to recreate this today with the UD Smoked palette :) Thank you so much for sharing!!
I've stopped using a thick topcoat on my nails-- I used to use SV (which is pronounced sesh-veet) or China Glaze-- because it always always chips off in like a bendy plastic...thing. Now I use a fast drying topcoat by Sinful Colors and it's SUPER thin so it helps avoid the thick layers of nail polish that come off all at once like you said happened to your index finger. This look is beautiful btw!
YES! I also use Seche Vite and without fail, after 4 days or so my index nails pop right off! Very frustrating because the rest of my nails still look great so I don't want to remove them. Also, gorgeous eye-look, as usual!
Hey, Cora! Yes, I also have that seche vite problem. After I switched to a different top coat, I didn't get that problem anymore. However, I love the look that seche vite gives, so I do this terrible thing to my nails -- with an emery board, I rough up the surface of nails a tiny bit and that seems to help the nail polish hold better.
Beautiful look!! I've had that happen to me using Seche Vite. The first bottle I bought, I loved it. The second bottle gave me nothing but problems. I want to try the Poshe topcoat.
You are soo soo beautiful, another tutorial of yours which pierced my heart. Thank u, oh, and you remind me so much of my highscool classmate, she had pretty much the same eye color as yours,i think that is another reason why i like you so much
Just gorgeous!!! I WILL be doing this tomorrow, I think I'll substitute one of my MAC crushed metallics on the lid as I don't have the Paris palette plus I just love my crushed metallics anyway. LOVE THIS AND YOU....x12!!! xoxo
You can easily make your own mixing medium by using glycerin (glycerol) and water. Just 1 part glycerin to 3 parts of water. And Cora, I love that makeup, gorgeous work.
This is such a beautiful look!! I'm not one to wear bright colored makeup and this look seems more wearable to me :). I love all your videos though. I love romantic, soft makeup with a bit of a punch! :) so pretty.
Omg this look is amazing! I have had this palette since it first came out and I was just overwhelmed with it so I have not really used it. This look is gorgeous and I am going to totally use it this weekend when I am out and about. Cora, would you do another look utilizing other colors from this palette soon so idea challenged people like myself know where to go with it? Love love love you!
I've had problems like that with my nail polish before too. It could be the oils on your nail possibly? Try swiping your finger nails with nail polish remover before putting on a base coat or your first layer of polish (if you don't use a base coat). I've noticed that that seems to help a ton! Good luck! :)
Can I just say that how comfortable and confident you are with yourself helps me to be confident with myself, too. I appreciate you very much, not only for your amazing makeup tutorials, but also for your general attitude towards life.
Everything is listed on the blog, link in the description box
There are two listed on my blog, link in the description box ^_^

You can be sophisticated with any hair colour. Sophistication comes from within. Beautiful video...xxx
That's my FAVORITE mascara!! It doesn't budge for anything... so amazing.
That totally makes sense, and thank you! My aim is to actually teach, so I'm glad that it comes through!
that lip colour is amazing it looks so good on your skin tone.
I just realized how long I have been watching your videos, I had a baby daughter barely talking when I started watching and she is now 6 yrs old and in 1st grade and she just sat down and watched your video with me and said 'wow she is good"! How cool huh?

I love how you do your eye makeup ! when ever i try to do it it never turns out anything like this! you are amazing !
YAY they're BACK!
So after watching your hair dye video I went and bought the purple hair dye and put a huge chunk in the top of my hair. I put it in the middle so when I part it on the side it kind of peaks out. I LOVE IT!!!! Thank you!
this look makes your eyes look HUGE! love it!
I love the duo-chrome shadow you used!
I used Seche vite religiously for 8 months... I had to do my nails every day to every 3 days.. I now use a cheap topcoat from supply source and no longer have that problem. Cost 12-13 bux for 16oz! It's been over a year, and I still love it...
Absolutely my favorite look yet.
I love the "be yourself". You're fantastic!
i think this is the best u have ever looked! Everything is perfect and beautiful. you're gorgeous!
I went to Paris this summer and i really enjoyed it and now this wants to make me go back!
oh my goodness the hd quality was amazing, the silvery gray blue-gorg!
What a great idea to use your cheek color in the crease to blend out. I will have to try that!
Actually the red in this look would make them pop! Purples, blues you have a great eye color!
This is SO gorgeous, best tutorial I have seen with this palette!
I'm a nail tech, and its probably chipped off due to oils that weren't completely removed before polishing. Also, it helps to buff the nail with a buffer, and use a cuticle stone to remove any cuticle grown onto the nail. :-) :-) it happens to everyone! Love your channel!!
omg. the pictures in the beginning have an amazinngg quality!!!
I love your videos be for when i didn't were any make up people didn't even know my name and would never even notice me but now everyone is asking me were i learned to do my makeup and the same answer every time you my self of steam has gone up dramatically thank you so much.

Beautiful Cora! I love how u are spot on with picking colors that look so good together!
i think this might be my favorite eye tutorial...gorgeous!!!
It would be very similar, though I'm not sure Twinks is the right texture. My favorite concealer is a toss up between MAC Pro Longwear and OCC's new Concealer.

lovely and love the lip color with it. I think I have seen so many video s trying to achieve this look but you pulled it off and the lip color sets it off.
Moving everything and putting it away and what better to watch then the beautiful Cora while I organize!
It's a luxury lipstick for sure! I love that it's a bit more affordable than most luxury lipsticks though.
The same thing happens when I use Seche Vite as a top coat too! It seems to last longer when I use a couple of thin coats versus several thick, glittery coats. I also found that when I was using a Sally Henson base coat the nail polish would flake off in one whole big nail chip even more quickly!
