Me too. Its a difficult position to be in. There are so many comments that make mention of the band's appearance in far cry that it overwhelms the comments simply from fans of the band. Its a bit like how most of Miles Kane's songs have comments comparing him to his more popular friend and some time musical partner Alex Turner. I think the fans that liked the band before far cry become uneasy because it implies that the band they like wouldn't be as popular if it didn't get the publicity from the more popular thing its associated with. Its the same feeling as when a song from a band you like gets big on Tik Tok but you get the feeling that they somehow don't deserve to like it as much as you do. With us liking more than the songs that appear in far cry we are in a situation where we both appreciate the band as a separate entity from far cry so can feel uneasy from the far cry related comments, but there is also guilt because really, we are the far cry commenters as well. So to conclude we should be wary not to- EAGLE! EAGLE! WATCH OUT FOR THE TALONS!
