Im 67yrs old. And even I can set this tent up by myself. I horse camp, and love the big windows which makes it easy for me to keep an eye on my horse. [I can't quite re-roll it as nice as uou do, though! 🙄 More practice needed😏]

Hey thanks for the video, it helped me to buy mine. I bought the deluxe. Hey on the rope to the awning you had its upside down, tie a knot on top and loop the ground stake and attach the black sliding tension device to the rope to tighten. Great secret weapon I just ordered my from Amazon. Thanks for the video it was very good and helpful mike

Awesome tent, just ordered one today. I'll have to get some lag 10" lag bolt to make it a easier, and faster set up. Great video, thank you for sharing. Take care. 🇺🇲

The canopy ropes are installed incorrectly- the black plastic piece is used to drawl the tension on the rope, not used to secure the rope to the top of the pole….

Thank you. We learned the correct way later on.

it is really an easy tent to set up. only issues I have had have been in rocky soil being able to actually get a stake in where I need to.

Btw - awesome idea on the tent pegs / I just got my tent and set it up the supplies stakes and it’s tiresome hammering in all of them - I’ll be buying the ones you showed! All the best!

Did you get those tent stakes and if so, do you know the exact name of them (white ends)? Thanks!

What length screws are those you used to stake down the tent

I've learned my lesson to stake down all perimeters of my tent instead of the 4 corners. 15 mph wind overnight bent my upright poles which lead the roof to collapse one side.

I fully believe securing the rain fly on basic tents helps as well. I use to just leave them hanging but I stake it down now.

Is the premium price tag of the Kodiak Canvas 10x14 tent worth it?

    • @Sayfeijai

Yes . Totally worth it . We just camped in 25 degree with the big buddy. Totally warm

@@ahhmeeb9354 competitive edge is the best place to get a Kodiak . They sell it cheaper then Kodiak themselves and even throw in a foot print .
But yes - totally awesome tent . And yes to the price . Not much more then a gazelle tent .

100% worth the price. I have a 10x10 and just came back from camping in the cold.

Does it have a rope sewn into the perimeter of the floor like the Springbar brand tents? Are the rods fiberglass?

I gotta say, I've never seen a man need power tools to set up a tent before. Guess they don't make 'em like they used to.
