@@i3ateyeb4llz I feel you. I went like 4 years where I was always breaking out and now my skin is finally starting to clear up some, but I have a ton of scars.
The moisturizer! I totally understand how you feel. Finding the right products for your skin has been a struggle for me for a long time. Thanks for the recommendations!😊
omg you are such a light at the end of the tunnel!! i am currently taking medicine from a dermatologist and it didn’t work for me! all the medicine the doctor has given me burns so bad!! thank you so much for making this video because i am going through the same thing that you’ve been through!! i love you kamri❤️❤️❤️
This is a great video to show what a lot of ppl struggle with....I have always had good skin I’m not sensitive to anything I don’t wear makeup so that probably helps and I have never really had acne issues but thanks for this....👍🏽😁
Hey! A tip from a student in dermatology school: you should use the tretnoin (tret-no-in) all over the face rather than a spot treatment! :) you should talk to you dermatologist about this😘
Kiwi 123 I recently went to a dermatologist and that’s what they told me to do with the tretnoin😊they said do the whole face because it helps prevent breakouts!:)
Yes, even I was wondering. But there are so many tretnoin creams considering what % we use. My dermatologist suggested me 0.025% long time ago, can we use it even when we dont hv acne bcoz u know it helps reducing fine lines. Just asking for another tip from u 😊
Love you and your family. You guys are the main reason I’m not bored during the day through all this mess. Praying for the world right now. Also your skin looks really good, and sorry that you had to go through all that pain with it.🙏❤️
I’m happy for you that you found what works. It’s a rough road for anyone at any age experiencing acne. I tend to have adult acne, and what I’ve found works for me. I’ve also found that consistency and washing both morning and night is best for me. Moisturizers are wonderful too. I’ve found that not using one creates an over production of oils because the skin is too dried out.
You are def not alone with this. I was lucky to never have bad acne but out of the blue my face and skin started to burn and go bright red (my face would swell) and I learned the hard way that I have super sensitive skin / allergies. I feel your struggle to keep trying until you find what works for you. Like you sun cream and after sun burned my skin. Thank you for sharing this 😊
Is anyone getting dry skin because we’re not going outside? And any skin care brands recommendations ?I know and use Pixi Lizearle, Ren and Mario Badescu (no I’m not a Vsco girl)
Oh hi I'm super early and I just wanna go ahead and say to you Kamri, you are absolutely gorgeous and you have come so far in life and you're so successful. Luv ya😊😜
Sephora brand products changed my life! I use their brand of toner and moisturizer and I’m about to switch to their cleanser too. My skin has changed for the better and I’m so thankful for it
THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO! I for so long have just stuck with the same products that don’t work for me but I was scared to try anything different because I didn’t want to react to anything. If I ever used anything that I was allergic to I would basically get chemical burns. It so nice to know that this isn’t something that I’m the only person who deals with this issue. Thank you again and keep up the great work! ☺️
I had a really bad reaction to a foundation that sounds very similar to what you went through. When I went to the dermatologist I found out that I had Allergic Contact Dermatitis. The dermatologist couldn't pin point exactly what my skin reacts to, because the foundation had a lot of ingredients that could have caused it. In the end, she told me just to stay away from fragrance, plant based product and products with spf (there are particular sunscreens that usually go into foundation that are problematic for my condition). I hope this helps anyone who is experiencing something similar xx
This is the story of my life!!! My skin is the most sensitive thing on the face of this earth! I can’t use and sunscreen, lotion, perfume, and anything else! This vid is so helpful!! Thank you
Oh my gosh, I know how you feel! My face has had so many rashes from so many skincare products! It's really annoying but when you find what's right for you it makes you so happy! I use CeraVe face wash and it works really well. Love you Kamri!!
By the way, the sunscreen thing was probably you reacting to one of 3 ingredients that is very common in sunscreen (especially spray sunscreen). The 3 ingredients are oxybenzone, octocrylene, or octisalate
I had the same thing with the sunscreen burning me when I was 14. Truly the worst. I completely relate to your story with your skin because I couldn’t (and still can’t) wear a lot of kinds of makeup and skincare. It took a very long time for me to even find shampoo that wouldn’t cause eczema and other skin reactions. It’s a long journey, but it’s worth it in the end to find what works. 💜
Everyone’s skin is different, so I don’t how other people’s skin will react to Curology ... but I highly recommend it!!!! You even take a little quiz at the start so they know what to give you!❤️ Overall check out Curology !!❤️ Pls also note that you will probably break out the first time you try it, but it’s normal, since your skin is still adjusting to it
I tried it and I literally broke out so much. My skin was peeling soooo bad. And I answered the quiz correctly. Even my dermatologist answered the quiz for me and it still did not work lol. Once I stopped using it my skin cleared up😂 my skin is so weird, but it worked for all of my friends😂😭
lipids are in the cell membrane so things might be able to pass through the membrane that shouldn’t! We’re learning about this in school right now! I’m a big fan Kamri❤️❤️❤️
Washing your face with warm water helps to open up your pores and makes it easier to get the dirt out of your pores with the help of your face wash! I also recommend splashing your face with cold water when youre done washing it because it helps to close your pores and makes it more difficult for dirt to get in and helps keep your skin clean😊😊
So I had cystic acne, and my dermatologist recommended trying panoxyl acne wash, and that made my skin so much better. I would 10/10 definitely recommend this product to people with cystic or bad acne. It may dry out your skin a bit at first, and your skin will purge, but after a few weeks you will definitely see improvements
This was super helpful! I've been experiencing the same burning and peeling sensation on and off for years. Also, I'm very sensitive to makeup and sunscreen. This was super validating!
I’ve suffered from acne since I was 12, it was pretty bad in my early teens, it did improve over time, but when I was 15 my skin started getting really oily, my pores are huge, now my skin produces so much oil, it’s already been reproduced within hours after washing. I mostly only get pimples on my chin and by my mouth, and they don’t just come around my period, they will come after I just get done with it. I’ve tried almost every skin care product on the market, including organic face cleansers. None have improved my acne, my skin just won’t stop overproducing oil. I’ve tried birth control pills and none have helped my acne or decreased oil production. I’m not sure what else to try, I was supposed to get into a dermatologist in March but because of social distancing, all non emergency appointments had to be postponed to a later date. I’m not sure what to believe about acne, I was told acne should clear up by the end of puberty, that’s not true for me as my acne didn’t appear until I was out of puberty for over a year, then told it should go away by the time we are out of our teens, not true either as I’m 21 now and still suffering from it. I hope I can outgrow it with age soon or find a treatment that actually works, I want clear skin so bad. Luckily your skin was easy to treat Kamri!! I hope mine clears up soon.
For the sunscreen, try blue lizard. It’s for sensitive skin and people in the sun a lot. It’s also waterproof and sweat proof. My cousin got rashes from every sunscreen until blue lizard.
Anyone have any tips for acne scars? And little bumps on my face? I wouldn’t say I necessarily have acne, but I do, although it’s just little, little bumps on my cheeks...
Bomi Yoon yep! i have the same thing all over my cheeks. the burts bee’s cotton face wash it’s really good for sensitive skin as well but if you are consistent with it to goes away and especially any redness. i also like their grapefruit cleansing towels it’s for dry and oily skin. i also like the lush rose water toner it’s super soothing and it get’s in your pores. then i also like the body shop vitamin e cream for moisturizer.

Try using chemical exfoliators like AHA/BHA products. I had the same problem and my skin drastically improved by using these products. I recommend trying Cosrx products
Since your stuck at home, you should make a photo shoot video where you can only use your car and the things inside it. I don’t know if you’ll even see this but I thought of that idea last night and thought you would do a really good job with that challenge. 😂😂😂 Hope you’re feeling well! Stay safe!!!💕💕
I went through a similar experience. The most gentle products that worked for most people didn't work for me. Now I'm using Proactiv and it seems to be working pretty well!!!
She legit explained lash next door SO well! I always try to explain to my friends how well it comes off and that I don’t get raccoon eyes! That makes sense now that I know the base is beeswax!!!
Warm water opens your pores, so it’s actually a very good thing that you’re using warm water because your cleaning pores. I normally use cold water after, because that closes pores and minimizes the amount of dirt and stuff in your pores, just a tip if you didn’t know :)
You should put your moisturizer on right after you pat your face dry. Doing so locks in the moisture from the water and keeps your face far more hydrated.
I had eczema on my skin, my neck especially, it was really bad. The areas around my jawline and cheeks were literally peeling, like you could see the skin coming off. It was so disgusting and disturbing.. I couldn't even bend my neck cause it was so itchy, red and it hurt. Then I started taking my acne medication pill, Rigix.. that really worked along with applying the creams my dermatologist gave me, Lotriderm, Epiduo and Polifax.. These really worked wonders on my skin.. now there's only a slight redness where my horrible eczema was.. Thank you medication, you've outdone yourself! 💖

A good moisturizer is neutrogena oil free moisturizer. It's not expensive and it last a long time👍
Anything by cerave, Krave, vanicream
Glossier priming moisturizer rich
I'm getting dry skin because I'm washing my hands so much
If you can, get a humidifier for your bedroom. They are about $20 for a basic one.

Tip! Put on moisturizer when your face is still damp and the moisture will be absorbed into your skin.
Anyone have any tips for acne scars? And little bumps on my face? I wouldn’t say I necessarily have acne, but I do, although it’s just little, little bumps on my cheeks...
Bomi Yoon neutrogenas clean and clear 2 in 1 toner!! This stuff is the best! It’s in an orange container btw
It’s because you touch your face a lot
I have acne scars too!! I also get those little bumps but I found that I get them most where I rest my hands on my face so try as hard as you can to not touch your face I found it made a massive difference
Try using chemical exfoliators like AHA/BHA products. I had the same problem and my skin drastically improved by using these products. I recommend trying Cosrx products
how do you do your hair that makes it so curly? it’s absolutely adorable!
Braid your hair and sleep on them or leave it for a couple of hours and then you'll have that result!
