Honestly I had no idea about that dev intended path up from the smelter. I always thought you had to figure it out for yourself until you got to the path up the canyon. Oh and I’ve always wanted to see how a direct line from the coal mine to the ironworks would look like, so maybe that could be a fun challenge?
@@GP30_Foamer I feel that! There is an “intended path” for everything on Pine Valley. Truthfully, it’s just the terrain cutouts that make it seem that way. I love the challenge! 😈
It would be awesome if u can show us how to make a yard for storing or sorting with a turntable at the coal mine along with that track you made in this vid. Please.
I've got a good suggestion or two, if you feel up to it. First one, where would you recommend putting extra industries at on maps they were on originally on? I.e. cattle and gold on Pine Valley, and Gold on Lake Valley? Second, how feasible do you think it would be to build a "scenic" route straight from the logging camp to the Smelter via the large valley south of the Sawmill?
Just a suggestion. People want to see the train run the entire line. We invested 30 mins into watching you build and didn't get our choo choo ride!...lol
>be me >be at summer camp >this be BEST entertainment >not understand why people aren't okay with 3% grades ...parallel splines tool says hi before falling flat on its face *hi there TANGENT FUNCTION-* alternative idea: instead of climbing directly down from the iron mine have it go around the smelter valley with a bridge across the canyon gap before looping around again? (case study: the MagyarAllamvasutak_MULTIPLAYER save in #ro-map-screenshots)
Starting off strong with more RO content!! 💪🏻
Comment your ideas or next track suggestions here!!
Could we see some miscellaneous industry track. And/or maybe some towns with stations
Double track bridge to the coal mine while staying in the river as much as possible
2.5% to the iron mine on the other side, if possible iron mine layout aswell
I remade the stupid 2% Hyce made back in the days of the ES&D. It was insanely silly and the trains died going around the horseshoe curves.
*can confirm*
Very practical, will definitely use
It’s track laying time

Iiiit's literally just climb over the mountain from the coal mine then descend back down the other side towards the freight depo then turn around
You’re so close to 1k. Let’s push him over the edge, people!?

I think its a real shame we didn't get a ride for the line at the end.
Missed the opportunity to say "Masokist" lol
@@YoinkusS oh I did put it in, but my un-natural desire to have good grammar won 🤣
