I have a feeling if she sang this now, she'd be 100x better. This was still early in the tour and she was getting used to the songs. This tour was the first time she performed in over 2 years after a bad burn out episode...It's a very inspirational story. She used to be able to sing bluesy for After Forever.
i love hearing them killing it they sound really good playing jazz spot on too and that but these particular professional musicians is easier for them and you can tell the audience loves that they know how that rhythm should flow
As much as I adore Floor and I think that she is the perfect lead singer for Nightwish, this particular song can only sound amazing when Anette sings it. I think that Anette was probably my least favorite singer, but all the songs on Imaginaerum were written perfectly for her voice and she sounded amazing on them anyway. Floor can do some of them, but only Anette can do this one.
Alisson Bryan that's a lie. I like floor's version of amaranth and poet and the pendulum better. I also prefer floor's version of ghost love score, ever dream, and bless the child. Floor's versions of imaginaerum's songs are good, but they were written for Anette and they'll probably always sound best with her voice.

The Wacken performance of those three songs you like is pretty good. Especially Ghost Love Score and Ever Dream. I actually don't like Floor's Amaranth of that show though.

But check out Floor's solo performance at Amsterdam, 2022. It's an even more jazz style version. It's amazing! Floor might not be able to duplicate each song, but she surely can make every song her own. Floor was very good when she joined Nightwish in 2012 but since then she has even further evolved. She's the complete package now.

Holy moly, I want an official music video of this! I've seen the one they made with Anette, and it is absolutely gorgeous, and Anette is great! The only thing in that video is, that it includes too much talk and too little singing. I want new one with Floor!
This is in my opinion the most humbling proof that no matter how awesome someone is, they can never be superior in everything. Here's to the people trashing Anette, saying she had no talent. Floor may make wonders with her voice but this'll always be Anette's song. The beauty in music is that you can make it so it can fit everyone perfectly, that was the case with that song, it was made so perfectly for Anette that even Floor sounds awful singing it.

You know, she sounds in "Slow,Love,Slow" as good as Anette did and I like it a lot. It's a pity Anette had to leave especially because she just started to sound 10 levels better than on DPP, but Floor is as good, sometimes even better as her voice is for me something between Tarja and Anette somehow so she can sing old and new songs very good. I hope she'll stay! :)

They praise too much to tarja and floor and despise anette, they are 3 very different singers, they have qualities and defects 3. listen or mio bambino caro by giacomo puccini in voice of floor is exqusito, I like it more than with tarja, it is much better opera singer than the Finnish, but no mamen, the version of the poet and the pendulo with floor is appalling, and no for her, if not for the arrangement that Toumas made for her in that arrangement until Marko is heard frightening. I think that whether or not you like a song with any of the 3 singers that nightwish has had in its history, it also depends on the arrangement that Mr. Toumas makes to the voice in question. There are 3 different vocal ranges and profiles, you can not expect a non-operative voice, formed in rock and blues as anette sing as a lyric singer, with a lot of school and vice versa. In any case, it was the fault of Mr. Toumas in selecting her at the time and not from Anette, she sang with her record and what was her musical education. Personally, I think rock, metal, pop, jazz and the blues, the lyric singers have nothing to do, so I liked more anette than floor or tarja, I'm from the old school, singers like wendy or wiliams, ann wilson, tina turner, doro, janis jopilin, grace slick Lita Ford, Aretha Franklin, Eta James, Big Mom Thornton or Rosetha Thorpe dominated the world of blues, rock and metal, Anette is closer to them than their metal goddesses aspiring opera singers. anette his voice is closer to his record to a mezzo-soprano with good bass than to a dramatic soprano like tarja with very good bass or a lyric like floor with a very sharp voice and poor in bass. therefore it seems stupid to expect that floor sound like anette in this song, or that anette sounds like tarja in ghost love score, where by the way floor makes it better than the two of them. Stop stupid nonsense and debates, in its moment and style, the 3 were fantastic. Best enjoy the music and your favorite singer and do not be fucking with the one you do not like or like
