That hose thought it was FUF and Brad was brewing. Something has to go wrong. Hose was like "wait that's not Brad, this guy looks like he knows what he's doing" 😁😁 Cheers 🍻 from Phoenix, AZ

We made this exact same 4 day Seltzer - it'll definitely ferment in 4 days but no way you want to be drinking it until it's at least had a week or two. The propper nutrient gives a really green tinge to it which you could see in the video - looks like it dropped pretty clear for you though with biofine which we'll try next time as ours was still a bit green in the glass.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I remember adding the nutrient into the sugar wash and thinking WTF just happened lol It became quite discolored. I think this seltzer sat in the fermenter for a week or so and then was in the keg with biofine for at least a week. Cheers!

I got a free all grain 4 litre beer kit and just had to replace the yeast. It was by brewers market. Which was a Canadian company, and I think they are no longer around. The name was a rocky mountain maple stout. All I had to provide was the yeast, and 1 cup of oats and 3/4 cup of maple surup. Turned out awesome. I was scared because I tried Guinness and wasn't a fan. Any suggestions for a maple stout. Wish I had a good home brew store here in Fort st john bc.

I've done this before and it's great. Still I don't like having to buy a secret recipe pack of nutrients. I found a recipe that replaced the proper seltzer packet with a combination of yeast nutrients and DAP but I lost it. If you're gonna make a batch for a party throw in a tablespoon or two of extract from olive nation. Depending on the flavor that is plenty for a five gallon batch. I'll also say I've used gelatin to clear it up and used nothing and both turned out wonderfully. Not sure it needs a ton of help clarifying.

Thanks for sharing. I used the nutrient pack since it's easy and I wanted to follow the recipe. I'd bet that some dap, fermaid, yeast energizer would have a similar outcome. I haven't heard of olive nation, I'll look into it. Cheers!

Did yours turn out yellow and stink like wine? I’ve made this twice and both got dumped

I use kieselsol + chitosan after fermentation and then biofine in the keg and it's crystal clear. Definitely doesn't have the best aroma but I don't find seltzers typically do. Next time I make a batch I'm going to try "CO2 scrubbing" where you hook up co2 to the liquid post and then burp the keg lid. Apparently this gets rid of the sulfur smell but I haven't tried it yet. Cheers

Peanut butter and jelly!!! Seriously people have been trying to crack the PB&J sour recipe by a Tennessee brewer. It is gluten free so I would think it is a seltzer base. I wonder if you can kettle sour seltzer?
