@@DaveRebuilds yeah it seams to work really well on exhausts but autoglym said that I shouldn't use it on my exhaust and also any chrome or bright work I use the NXT stuff in the pot and it's definitely much better than the autoglym I used to use the autoglym and had to do my exhaust at least once a month but now I probably do it 3/4times a year as the meguiars has some really good extra protection. I have always been brought up on autoglym I probably have at least 1 bottle of every product they have ever sold but I am slowly using more and more meguiars and also dodo juice stuff as its turning out to give better results. Not saying autoglym is bad in fact its very good just the meguiars and dodo is that little bit better and lasts that little bit longer.
@@DaveRebuilds i have gone from 15years ago coving my shit 1.1 rover 200 in TFR and using a brush on the end of a hose and messing the paintwork up. Too now taking a weekend basically making love to my New VW Mk7.5 Golf R not useing anything other than the best products and super silky soft cloths and sponges haha
@@PsyMongSki lol I’m the exact same, I started out with a 1.4 corsa and old turtle wax I found in the shed to the very strict maintenance cleans I do on the RS 😂👍🏻
Assuming it’s metal, yes. If it’s a chrome finish I’m not sure, best way to check is to try it on an area that isn’t as easily noticeable and see what it does 👍🏻
Stephen hi, wouldn’t recommend it to be honest, it’s quite an aggressive compound for alloys. I would suggest meguiar’s ultimate all wheel cleaner, I have a video on it on the channel if you want to see how good it is
Autoglym told me not to use this on my exhaust and wheels when I asked them I have ended up useing meguiars with good effect m.
Yeah I wouldn’t use it on wheels but worked great for me on the exhaust. What meguiars product was it that you used?

Can you use it on a Honda 250cc quad exhaust?

No purple metal polish by California custom
Cool, I’ll take a look, thanks for the info 👍🏻

@@DaveRebuilds that's great, thanks for the tip 👍
Stephen no worries at all, glad I could help 👍🏻
brasso does the same thing
Really? I figured brasso would be too abrasive?
