I agree with Cole… if Will Howard actually showed up against osu and mizzou they win both of those games!

To me the critical games last season were @ OSU & @ UT. If we win those two I think the ISU game goes way differently & we’re in the Big XII Champ game. The receivers weren’t helping Will Howard in the OSU game & he was visibly limping in the 2nd half vs Mizzou. 3 critical errors vs Mizzou lost that game for us - Delay of game w/ 3rd & goal from the 3 goes to 3rd & 8 (-4 pts). There were also back-to-back penalties in the 3rd Qtr which moved us out of an easy FG into a LONG FG we missed (-3 pts) & two D-backs miscommunication leaves Luther Burden wide open at the 10 yd line (-7 pts). We fix ONE of those & we win. This still doesn’t affect us making the Big XII Champ game as it’s a non-conf game.

I'm not confident in this take, but I'd be ecstatic if Kaluma returned to K-State for his final season. Having him as the main wing alongside the other bigger guards currently on this roster will make this team a matchup nightmare in the backcourt, granted they all gel as a team.
