Favorite new feature in messages that nobody else cares about: enhancements to Audio Messages, like lock recording status, scrubbing the waveform to skip ahead/rewind, new UI, and transcription of audio messages. This is my most beloved way of communicating, and I’ll never understand why people sleep on it.
Until transcriptions are available for audio messages on every platform, I'm not using them. they're impossible to go back and look at, or reply to a message in a meeting, or a quiet environment. basically useless in a lot of situations.
@@simonglover8914 It's all about the kind of information in an audio message. They're terrible for making plans, but amazing for a longer catch-up message with a friend in a different time zone. Exactly the sort of thing that you don't need to respond to in a meeting.
I'm still missing the greatest feature yet to announced, Caller Subject where the caller expresses the reason for calling so you can see and decide if you think it's worth accepting the call.

StandBy is nowhere nearly as fleshed out as I hoped it would be, there really should be a study mode where we can choose how long to set it for (with a timer) AND how on earth is there not a digital clock!?

Even if it was, I'm not sure how they get their information, but I'm assuming they are not pulling all of the autocorrect and predicted words from Google so they are building all of this in house so it will most likely lag behind what everyone else is doing if they started late.
is there the same problem with image cropping ? or can we use the freeform cropping at default allready ? also can we put our images and videos to pc by usb cable ?

All that effort to embellish the lock screen, and it appears Apple still hasn't offered the option to remove the camera and/or flashlight icons from the lock screen. Nor have they added an option to disable the "swipe left" on the lock screen to bring up the camera. It's far too easy to bring the camera up in lock screen while placing the phone in my pants pocket. So much fun to grab my phone while shopping to find it very warm to the touch. Yeah, the camera has been trying to focus while in my pocket. My main gripe about the iPhone 13.
I don’t really care for the rest of the iOS features but why did they have to change how pdf works am so frustrated like if u have pages of different sizes in a pdf you can’t zoom in anymore fully and u can’t double tap like it was working perfectly fine I am so annoyed right now

The one they showed for the FaceTime with AppleTV? I believe it’s the “iPhone Mount with MagSafe for Mac Desktops and Displays” and it is not a charger. I could be mistaken. I expect to see better continuity MegaSafe mounts in the future
