Dimash sang to impress his audience while Stell sang to touch everyone's heart .. it's not always hitting the highest notes or having a powerful voice that's important but how you convey the message of the song to your listeners... Stell gets this one for me .. i love how Stell tells the story of this song..
As known Dimash has a University training about voicing so that with all his scientific enhancements it's given he can belt out that song however emotionless but with Stell's rendition of same song I got a goosebumps and emotions are felt right into my heart❤
Who on earth would not try to impress the audience, people are buying a ticket and flew from the other side of the world which means his voice goes straight to their heart and soul(meaning feels the emotions so damn much) make them flew a thousand miles

They're from different genre. Dimash has a distinct voice but Stell singing high notes is a plus being a member of a Pop group. He can built high notes even when dancing.
Both are great singers. Their musical approach is different. Dimash went into vocal acrobatics which he did splendidly. Stell on the other hand delivered from the heart using his crisp and clear vocal chops to tell a story. I do prefer Stell’s version because it tugs in the heart. Bottomline, its a matter of preference, whichever rendition speaks to you.
For me, it was more the emotions in Stell’s interpretation. It was a classy act. Dimash’ performance was a bit too showy for me, which was impressive no doubt, but a bit of an overkill IMHO.
Plus, Dimash is classically trained at a young age, so technically, he is the best. But it's not my kind of genre. I respect his talent, but Stell just does some magic tugging at your heartstrings... i don't know...❤❤❤

correct, people who are not musically inclined tend to appreciate the high notes of Dimash because they thought it's the way it is, he is a great singer, but actually it;s not at all... yes he sings so high all the way high in screaming , never clean and clear. No control. Stell has the best control of his voice, very clear, soaring high is so peaceful to listen. I go for Stell... he knows how to sing.

If we are to judge them like in gymnastics, Stell's degree of difficulty is higher than Dimash because Stell held the high note almost twice as long as Dimash did, so even if Dimash performed it with stronger vocals because his high note was shorter, Stell's overall point is higher than Dimash. So Stell is the winner in this competition.
Thank you for pointing that out❤ Dimash is much more well-known around the globe compared to Stell which is why some ppl may find it hard to believe that there is someone like Stell who could top Dimash's voice. I still go for Stell 🇵🇭 He used his full voice and don't need to do a falsetto to hit those high notes. He doesn't have formal training in singing (he started as a dancer in a group) He's called the Heavenly Voice in SB19 because of his powerful vocal range especially when singing ballad songs ❤️
No doubt Dimash did well on this performance but can i just say Stell's voice is heavenly. I want him to sing for me all day. its so nice to my ears. 😍

That is why he can sustain the belting longer. Dimash can belt of course no doubt but Stell can belt the high note longer as we can see it in this video.
Dimash's version is more classical/operatic; Stell's rendition is more pop and closer to Celine Dion's version! Love Stell's rendition better but I can appreciate both artists' talents!!! Kudos to both for giving Celine's version justice!

Stell for me ❤ I love straight up story telling... I want to enjoy and feel those lyrics and paint the picture in head while listening to the song.... Dimash is amazing no doubt but his version of all by myself is so complex and too much vocal acrobatics for me.
Stell has this heavenly voice. 😊 incredible voice control and technique. Plus he can sing while dancing hard choreography! They are both completely different so there's no need to compare. 😊

They are both good.Dimash is indeed a good singer, no doubt, he is way better than stell in terms of vocal control,techniques etc. But if I were the judge I would prefer the singer who pierced the heart of the Listener, who could convey the real essence and meaning of the song. I’ve let several casuals who just listened to both of them without knowing anything about the two. They were not even allowed to see the two singers faces, I just let them listened to their voices, I was really surprised that all of them like Stell Ajero’s rendition. The collective opinions was that both have lovely voices, one seemed to hit the highest note but compared to the other one it is not pleasant to listen to. (They are referring to Dimash). The other one is soothing and conveys more emotions and they wanted to listen to him than the other one. (They are referring to Stell Ajero). So, I guess, it is not fair to compare two artists that have different musical background. One was trained since he was young because he is musically gifted (Dimash) while the other one self-trained as a dancer (Stell Ajero) and had not been classically trained at all. My conclusion, most people just Love to listen and appreciate music. So all should just respect and listen to their preferences.

Both artists are definitely talented. In the videos shown, it seems that Dimash wanted to highlight his vocal agility from operatic to pop in one song while Stell just seemed that he just wanted to sing his emotions and heart out. Personally, I liked Stell’s version of this song.
Dimash is no doubt a great singer. I've never heard any singer do it like how he did. But, if I were to choose what I would play on a loud speaker on repeat, I'd choose Stell. The emotions, the clarity. Just pleasant to the ear. That's just my take.
STELL can belt after doing a hard dance choreo!.. still vocals are very stable!... if Dimash can do that, I will be impressed! .... but if not, STELL remains unmatched!
They are both unmatched and at top of their own game (vocally speaking). It's rare to find such men that hits impressive notes like the way Stell and Dimash does. Stell in all honesty, would not want to sing like Dimash, he is his own person, and techniques aside, I'd rather feel the song/music than be bombarded by unnecessary vocal gymnastics that doesn't mean anything, a story teller, that's what Stell is. Dimash, yes he can sing classically high notes, but it just is sometimes overly done and I can't feel anything when he sings. And do I have to repeat about the clear diction and pronunciation of the words he sings, which clearly Dimash lacks.

I appreciate Dimash's talent/voice (I've already watched several performances) but the clarity, diction and precision of the notes in Stell's rendition is way better for me. Also, sure you can do rifts and runs but if it's not needed in a song, why do it? Sometimes it's just a distraction, especially with a beautiful classic song. Kudos to both talents, though.
I quite agree with you on this. That's why I'm not that appreciative of Dimash' performance of covers. Because it sometimes comes off as exaggerated. It's just too much, going to the extreme. He's a great singer but if he can tone it down a bit. I guess I'd prefer Zhou Shen's melodic voice. Especially when he sang a duet with Sa Dingding of the song 'Upwards To The Moon'. Even though it was sang in Mandarin, you'd really appreciate the song because of their angelic voices.
I like the simple/original version of Stell, it is easy on the ears while Dimash's version has too much going on that it looses the way you feel about the song. I can't explain it bec I am not a musician or a singer. I love Stell's rendition of the song it's not overkill.
I think the problem is that Dimash sang this song in the I am singer comp and as he was competing against lots of top Chinese singers, he needed to be spectacular and now, when he sings it in concerts, people expect him to give that same spectacular rendition. I agree with you. It is overkill. And I am absolutely a dear. Watch everything of Dimash for two to three hours a day, since 2017, which I can do as I’m retired. Been to three overseas concerts, my fourth to be Budapest in May. But this is the one song I’m not so keen on because of the interruption in flow. Never heard of the other singer, but he is very good too.
Same thoughts!! I actually lean more towards Stell. Apart from an insane vocal range, he's much more vocally versatile since his lower notes is equally as great as the higher ones. Especially when it comes to stable vocals? He wins. Watch their live perfs, especially the ones with heavy-ass choreo and watch him go gaga over belting those high notes like it's nothing😭😭 And it even sounds stable, oh my lord...

Stell's vocals: diction is clear especially the vowels, high notes pleasing to ears not shouting, singing high notes was delivered amazingly. Stell has truly blessed with "heavenly voice". The better performer for me is Stell, we're talking here about singing, not shouting. ☺

This performance is 2 yrs ago and is still used for contents like this😊 Watching him now, Stell definitely went miles with his vocal abilities. One is more of a classical operatic approach (to my ears) the other is a pop singer (a very gifted vocalist who did not have formal training). I would love to hear and see both dance (to up-tempo) music and sing at the same time. That would be very interesting because I want to hear the stability of the voices.

The 1st vocalist have a great range of voice .the 2nd Vocalist has a range may not be as high as the 1st one .However, The 2nd one make me feel the emotion of the song.
Stell can hit higher notes than other female singers...his range is higher than my grade. You can watch his song covers and you will know. I swear to God I haven't yet seen or heard any other artist that sings better than him, stable vocals while dancing and do choreo (he is the choreographer of the group) at the same time.
IT IS STELL 。 Based on this comparison side by side video, Stell wins this one. He sang the song in one piece and intact. He sustained his vocals all through out very nicely and had total control of the performance. Very well executed by Stell.
Dimash and Stell are both great singers. But for vocal quality and texture I go for Stell. His voice is so clean, his head tone his vibrato is so good to hear. He can sustain high notes too long. And of course the way he deliver the song its full of emotions.

I like Dimash before I discovered SB19 and heard Stell. After that I forgot Dimash. Dimash obviously gave a more dynamic version here, but I felt Stell's version cut through the heart. Especially knowing the backstory of why he chose to sing the song.
I love both artist! Dimash has a diffrent quality and tone of his voice which is maybe suitable for another song and type of music. But i like The quality and tone of the voice of Stell Ajero of SB19 suits this song better. Its more soothing and nice to listen 😊
Dimash is a very powerful vocalist. However, if I will buy a ticket and go to a concert, I will choose Stell's concert. He conveys the emotion of the song, doesnt overkill, good diction as well.. Plus, if you know Stell, he can offer a lot more. I dont have to sit to a , lets say 3 hour concert hearing the same thing over and over again. So yeah. It's Stell FOR ME.

Dimash tops them all. No question about it. He is consistent in singing this type of song every time. His high notes is out of this world. I could listen to him sing all day long. Stell has a good voice, no doubt about it. However, any other singer can sing the same style and the same way he sings. In the case of Dimash, nobody can match him at all. I still go for Stell 🇵🇭 He used his full voice and don't need to do a falsetto to hit those high notes. He doesn't have formal training in singing (he started as a dancer in a group) He's called the Heavenly Voice in SB19 because of his powerful vocal range especially when singing ballad songs ❤️

That is why he can sustain the belting longer. Dimash can belt of course no doubt but Stell can belt the high note longer as we can see it in this video.

They are both good.Dimash is indeed a good singer, no doubt, he is way better than stell in terms of vocal control,techniques etc. But if I were the judge I would prefer the singer who pierced the heart of the Listener, who could convey the real essence and meaning of the song. I’ve let several casuals who just listened to both of them without knowing anything about the two. They were not even allowed to see the two singers faces, I just let them listened to their voices, I was really surprised that all of them like Stell Ajero’s rendition. The collective opinions was that both have lovely voices, one seemed to hit the highest note but compared to the other one it is not pleasant to listen to. (They are referring to Dimash). The other one is soothing and conveys more emotions and they wanted to listen to him than the other one. (They are referring to Stell Ajero). So, I guess, it is not fair to compare two artists that have different musical background. One was trained since he was young because he is musically gifted (Dimash) while the other one self-trained as a dancer (Stell Ajero) and had not been classically trained at all. My conclusion, most people just Love to listen and appreciate music. So all should just respect and listen to their preferences.

Both artists are definitely talented. In the videos shown, it seems that Dimash wanted to highlight his vocal agility from operatic to pop in one song while Stell just seemed that he just wanted to sing his emotions and heart out. Personally, I liked Stell’s version of this song.

I don't see why there should be such room for comparison when all it ever does is attract fanwars to an unhealthy degree🤦♀️ But to be a bit biased, yes, Stell has me blown-away completely in every vocal aspect. Stell, for me sang it better, the diction and pronunciation are very clear, and you really feel the raw emotions, it's not about who sang it higher, it's who made you feel the song more, Stell can belt like Dimash and still be pleasing to the ears, anyway they have different genres, Dimash is more theatrical and really just for show, while Stell sings from the heart coz he wants the audience to appreciate the song as well wala ng paligoy ligoy pa, in lngm Stell is the best

Stell in all honesty, would not want to sing like Dimash, he is his own person, and techniques aside, I'd rather feel the song/music than be bombarded by unnecessary vocal gymnastics that doesn't mean anything, a story teller, that's what Stell is. Dimash, yes he can sing classically high notes, but it just is sometimes overly done and I can't feel anything when he sings. And do I have to repeat about the clear diction and pronunciation of the words he sings, which clearly Dimash lacks.

I appreciate Dimash's talent/voice (I've already watched several performances) but the clarity, diction and precision of the notes in Stell's rendition is way better for me. Also, sure you can do rifts and runs but if it's not needed in a song, why do it? Sometimes it's just a distraction, especially with a beautiful classic song. Kudos to both talents, though.
I quite agree with you on this. That's why I'm not that appreciative of Dimash' performance of covers. Because it sometimes comes off as exaggerated. It's just too much, going to the extreme. He's a great singer but if he can tone it down a bit.
I guess I'd prefer Zhou Shen's melodic voice. Especially when he sang a duet with Sa Dingding of the song 'Upwards To The Moon'. Even though it was sang in Mandarin, you'd really appreciate the song because of their angelic voices.

I like the simple/original version of Stell, it is easy on the ears while Dimash's version has too much going on that it looses the way you feel about the song. I can't explain it bec I am not a musician or a singer. I love Stell's rendition of the song it's not overkill.
I think the problem is that Dimash sang this song in the I am singer comp and as he was competing against lots of top Chinese singers, he needed to be spectacular and now, when he sings it in concerts, people expect him to give that same spectacular rendition. I agree with you. It is overkill. And I am absolutely a dear. Watch everything of Dimash for two to three hours a day, since 2017, which I can do as I’m retired. Been to three overseas concerts, my fourth to be Budapest in May. But this is the one song I’m not so keen on because of the interruption in flow. Never heard of the other singer, but he is very good too.

Watch their live perfs, especially the ones with heavy-ass choreo and watch him go gaga over belting those high notes like it's nothing😭😭 And it even sounds stable, oh my lord...

One is more of a classical operatic approach (to my ears) the other is a pop singer (a very gifted vocalist who did not have formal training). I would love to hear and see both dance (to up-tempo) music and sing at the same time. That would be very interesting because I want to hear the stability of the voices.

The 1st vocalist have a great range of voice .the 2nd Vocalist has a range may not be as high as the 1st one .However, The 2nd one make me feel the emotion of the song.
Stell can hit higher notes than other female singers...his range is higher than my grade. You can watch his song covers and you will know. I swear to God I haven't yet seen or heard any other artist that sings better than him, stable vocals while dancing and do choreo (he is the choreographer of the group) at the same time.
Stell's voice has a good quality to it. His singing is pleasing to the ear and he sings with grace.

Dimash is a very powerful vocalist. However, if I will buy a ticket and go to a concert, I will choose Stell's concert. He conveys the emotion of the song, doesnt overkill, good diction as well.. Plus, if you know Stell, he can offer a lot more.

No comparison. Both have their own styles. Maybe Dimash has been singing for so many years more than Stell, has a classical background and training, hence has that mastery of his voice. Stell taught himself. Plus pure talent. Anyway, I love both.

Dimash tops them all. No question about it. He is consistent in singing this type of song every time. His high notes is out of this world. I could listen to him sing all day long. Stell has a good voice, no doubt about it. However, any other singer can sing the same style and the same way he sings. In the case of Dimash, nobody can match him at all. He is indeed a league of his own.

No doubt it's Stell for the win. Stell sang it very well ,perfect so good to listen and can watch repeatedly.The other guy sounds so O.A.(over acting )and can easily loose the goodness of the song.✌🏻✌🏻
