Cutting Instructions
From Fabric
A: cut five (5) 3-7/8” x 3-7/8” squares
B: cut two (2) 3-7/8” x 3-7/8” squares
C: cut four (4) 3-1/2” x 3-1/2” squares
D: cut three (3) 3-7/8” x 3-7/8” squares
E: cut two (2) 3-1/2” x 3-1/2” squares
Sewing Instructions
1. With RST, take one (1) A square and one (1) B square draw a diagonal line from one corner to the other. Sew a ¼” seam on both sides of the drawn line. Cut along the diagonal line. Press seams. Trim to 3-1/2” x 3-1/2” square. Make two.
2. With RST, take one (1) A square and one (1) D square draw a diagonal line from one corner to the other. Sew a ¼” seam on both sides of the drawn line. Cut along the diagonal line. Press seams. Make three.
3. With RST, take one (1) A/B unit and one (1) C square and sew together with a ¼” seam. Press seams. Make four.
4. With RST, take one (1) A/D unit and one (1) E square and sew together with a ¼” seam. Press seams. Make two.
5. With RST, take two (2) A/D units and sew together with a ¼” seam. Press seams. Make two.
6. With RST, take two (2) A/B/C units and sew together with a ¼” seam. Press seams. Trim to 6-1/2” x 6-1/2” square. Make two.
7. With RST, take one (1) A/D/E unit and one (1) A/D/A/D unit and sew together with a ¼” seam. Press seams. Trim to 6-1/2” x 6-1/2” square. Make two.
8. Sew blocks together using a ¼” seam. Press seams. Make two (2)
9. Sew rows together using a ¼” seam. Press seams. Trim to 12-1/2” x 12-1/2” square.
