Maybe adding rubber/teflon stops at the highest point of the unit would be beneficial. That way you don’t scratch or hit into smash low points on some cars. Since the product is still in the prototype phase, this may be possible?
Been wanting to buy an undercarriage cleaner for some time now but wasnt about to spend $700+ for something i use on my personal vehicles only . So this is actually amazing since i can use this for my powerwash business for surface cleaning and wash my car with it as well. I Really appreciate you for helping develop this and the price isnt bad either!
Needs to be at least 2 inches lower. The connect pipe needs to be about 6-12 inches long to avoid the awkward angles as you go further under cars. Other than that, pretty cool.
I wouldn't even pay $300 for that. You can now buy the cheaper $50-100 ones that have jet soap tips, so I just have one that runs to a chemical injector tank to spray APC or degreaser mix on undercarriage, or run a backup gas powered washer with chemical tanks and injector built in. Its not like you end up using it weekly, so these are nice fancy ideas, but not worth the cost.
@@ObsessedGarage You already carry Karcher, look into their "chassis cleaner" which has the foam attachment and would come at a more palatable price point. Just the use of water does nothing for those that deal with harsh winters.
For that kinda money, I wish they’d modelled it after the Karcher unit, which not only sprays high pressure, but also is height-adjustable and has a foam gun for spraying APC.
I see these things being used on sidewalks all the time! leave it to Matt to show me me I can use it on my garage floor! Mind blown! Yes, I realize I should be smarter!
Great video and great product! It would be awesome if there’s a way we could hook up a foam cannon so we could really foam the undercarriage of our vehicles!
This product is great. A Trucking company can wash the vehicles from the bottom, from inside the box and over it. On top / center of RVs, where is hard to reach. In that case some brushes would help swap / move the dirt operating downwards. 🚿
That's gonna break if people are going to use it like a vacuum cleaner. There's a reason why most floor cleaners swivel at the bottom. Those casters are freaking high as hell. For people that would spend $600 dollars on that thing they are likely to have a lowered car or a low car in general. Most normal people have normal height cars and normal people don't usually spend 600 on a undercarriage cleaner...
You need to get one of these into the hands of Rick up in Canada, @RAD GARAGE so that he can really put it to a real test of undercarriage and floor cleaning. I could really use one here in MN, just need to convince my wife to again spend some more money at OG.
I would love to see a way to raise it for my truck, seemed to mist the 4Runner. I agree with someone else that mentioned some rubber bump stops before it hits the paint on a lower car.
Luckily i have access to a shop with hoists so I can lift the Jeep and wash it once in a while. Otherwise I'd probably look into getting one of these to wash the salt off
Dumb question, but with normal cement garage floor, would you spray all purpose cleaner down and then use this or what would be the process you recommend?
Crazy because I actually used my old 10" BE surface cleaner to make the same setup by adding casters and flipping it upside down. Here's what I think happened... When a surface cleaner faces the ground, their is a certain amount of surface tension or resistance that keeps the tips from spinning super fast. Without that resistance, they spin freely. Did you notice that high pitch whine? Mine did the same thing and had never done it before. Long story long, the bearings prematurely failed one day causing it to not spin. Your right, mosmatic makes awesome surface cleaners so I'm sure they already addressed the bearing issue. My comment is only aimed at anyone thinking of making a setup like I did to save a few bucks.
Might help viewers if we could actually see the actual cleaning power and the actual areas that are being clean. It’s hard to gauge how well it cleans since there are things like the floor tiles that we can’t see through same with any of the cars.
OK. I have the little angel on one shoulder whispering to me "Joe, you don't NEED that". And then the little devil on my other shoulder whispering "Joe, you need to purchase this item today".
That's a great product, for real. When operating downwards it doesn't raise water spray. You can sell it in Singapore, because trucks leaving construction sites must be washed from underneath to avoid litering the streets with mud. Fines are heavy and crimes are punished with Death Penalty there 😳
Nice enough unit but I wouldn't use this as is. I'd suggest adding some impact-absorbing material or "bumpers" on those reversible caster brackets so that they decrease the possibility of scratches or damage when the unit is being pushed underneath a low vehicle.
600 dollars and doesnt fit under all cars and the pressure seems same of the cheap ones and there is cheap ones what can do both under carriage and floor cleaning so for me no ty i dont give that money for a plate 🤣
@@JoshuaGriffing no the pressure is same i tryed on karcher k2 and kranzle is same bcs it depends on the tips and idk if u can change it idk this 600 dollars bcs i dont give them that money
I have a very low car so this is not an option. I simply bought a copper pipe normally used by plumbers. Then plugged the end of it, bent it 45 degrees, drilled a bunch of holes in it and installed an adapter for a pressure washer in the end. Cost maybe $30 and its maybe 1cm tall. Ideally you could put a bunch of pressure nozzles T´d in series.
I am seriously amazed by this! Did some surface cleaning with cheap ones like kärcher and damn the ease of use and not having water Literally everywhere is really good with that one! I would definitely buy it if I would have enough use of it!
I have had this in my cart for a few days. Now the video, so I had to jump on it before they get sold out. Yes this is expensive, but it’s dual purpose and a good surface cleaner alone is pretty expensive anyway.
Nice that you can do your floors with it but for the most part looks like a bunch of mist flying everywhere. I’ll stick to the $150 undercarriage cleaner, much better pressure and price. $600+ really??
“Scratching lottery ticket” nope no undercarriage cleaner for me 😆 With that said the Greenstar seems legit. I mixed up some 10:1 and it seemed potent.
yeah but you obv dont know much about time management and effectiveness of a surface cleaner. I can clean a 2 car garage in 10 mins vs you power washing normally for an hour
Wife: it’s gone midnight wtf are you watching?
Me: a bloke cleaning a floor
Waiting for someone to attach a foam cannon to the 60” wand for 2 person operation lol
You may be onto something with the foam cannon.
That would be rowdy 😂🤣
This is what I need. Ability to spray cleaner on underbody for nj winters. Not sure how no one has this
Might want to add a drain plug hole for when it catches all the water from using it as a undercarriage washer.
OMG that is a beautiful Calvary Blue 3rd gen 4runner!
At 6:10 in the video did i hear Matt say "If you want to keep the price down"? Are you feeling ok, Matt?
"But will it work with my 60$ Sunjoe?" 😂😂😂😂😂

I really liked the undercarriage sprayer with the 2 piece jointed design. Been waiting on something that will work on low cars...
Unrelated but I like that I got an ad for obsessed garage right before the video
me too
Alright , I need some content with that 4 runner. That thing looks dialed.
