I've commented this on your videos before, but I've recently got a Scout Rogue. I've been riding as much as I could, whenever the UK weather allowed that is. I had it only for a month but I love it. The look, the sound, even with the stock pipes, the riding position, everything is just amazing. I love that it came with the mini ape hangers as I always wanted a motorcycle with these. I mentioned this before as well, but initially, I have found the levers to be a bit stiff, hard to press and especially to hold. But now, I got used to that. Not sure if I got stronger hands or if the levers, especially the clutch lever got bit flexible, but it's not an issue anymore.
After seeing the announcement for the new scout lineup I have kinda had buyers remorse. But after looking more into the new line up, I love my Rogue even more. None of the new ones come with the ape hangers, the tubular frame doesn't look as good and the new tank is just the chief's tank. Hell, the new scout lineup is pretty much a Chief lineup in a Scout's body. The only thing that I like with the new ones is the fuel gauge and the tech.
Thank you for coming back and commenting again, I appreciate your input!
Just because the new ones are out doesn’t make the old scouts any less cool than they were. Yeah, a new engine is nice and some of the upgrades are really cool (finally cruise control!), but I still really like the look of the older models a ton. I’m sure there are some kinks Indian will need to work through on the new ones, and a lot of the differences are just more expensive upgrades anyways. You will get a ton of use out of it and I’m sure you will enjoy it for years!
Ride safe ✌️
Wait until tomorrow. There is an update that is suppose to drop on April 2 for the Indian Scout line. Rumors are all over the place but we will know more tomorrow.
The new Indian scout looks amazing! I didn’t even know was happening until recently but I’m glad I waited!
I agree with you on Indian , I personaly bought MT07 for first bike and probably after some years of driving will go to Indian , it's my dream bike.
Yeah, it’s such a nice looking bike, and even the new ones look awesome. Ride safe! Let me know how you like the MT07, that’s a great bike also.
@@evergreenmoto MT 07 is great bike for learning and building confidence. For me so far it's been just positive vibes and I would recommend to new riders to buy it and learn on it because from this motorcycle you can go to cruiser or sport bike. It's upright style of riding and very fun to ride.
@@Joke89ful yeah, I’ve been on an MT07 and really enjoyed it. Glad it’s been a good experience!
Scouts are great. But cruise control on the 1100 is just so awesome!
Absolutely, cruise control NEEDS to be on my next bike. I’m sure it’s amazing to have!
Have you seen the new Husqvarna Svartpilen 801?
I have, but I haven’t done a ton of research on it. I’ll take a look!
