Saw Heart live several times, while different from Ann Wilson's version its just as good. Zkye is a whole other type of woman rocker! She crushes whatever she does!!!!! And the band...OMG where did all this greatness come from!!!!!!

The first 50 seconds, although a bit soft and restrained, initiated Zkye's ability to belt out a vocal performance reminiscent of the original version of this classic hit as sung by Ann Wilson of the group Heart. Boiling over with feelings, Zkye's ability to express the desire and meaning of the lyrics to this song is loud, clear and strong.
Upon conclusion, SingIt Live fans hear the "ticking of the clock" in anticipation of the arrival of next week's cover, which we are all looking forward to!

Zyke is an absolute ROCK GODDESS. Wow, talk about doing the original song justice.......this cover was beyond excellent. Truly wish that this is put in front of the Wilson sister, they would most definitely be very very impressed

Incredible version of the song from you guys. The dude on the left harmonizing the high notes is absolutely outstanding. I'm not taking it away from the lead vocals but that harmonisation is incredible
It’s one thing having the vocal range, pitch, control, and sense of musicality to be able to sing classic songs such as ‘Alone’. However, it’s also the amazing tone and timbre of Zkye’s voice that makes her unique as a singer, you know it’s her just by hearing ‘that voice’. It’s a rare talent to be able to take classic songs, stay true to the original melody and yet make them your own. Great song arrangement and band performance and the backing vocals and production are stellar. I would happily buy an album of covers by Skye and the Sing It Live band.

The whole band nails it here, with Darren's keyboard intro and Tzan's guotar solo shining. A tough vocal that requires power and subtlety, and as usual Zkye delivers fully.
Very few women can match Ann Wilson's power but she did it with ease. The backup vocals were spot on too and the band nailed it as usual. Another top-notch performance by Singit Live.
This is a very nice cover, but she can’t touch Ann.

I watched both guitar players anticipate that powerful 'yeah' at the two minute mark, and smiled at their big grins when the vocalist hit it. If you'd never heard the song before, you'd probably be feeling goosebumps when that sound kicked in. Let's face it -- when even the musicians who are almost certainly familiar with the original and who have probably heard this voice a number of times in practice -- when even they are thrilled when it happens, you can imagine what it would do to an unsuspecting listener. This is my fourth time hearing this particular cover which should tell you how I respond to it.

I echo all the accolades below. Zkye knocked it out of the park. She never fails to exceed, but this one is just superb. And the musicians are as great as always.
Good God, woman! Zkye + Heart was always going to sound a million bucks, along with all the other world class musicians powering this track into masterpiece territory. No matter what she sings, you can trust it's going to be out of this world, every single time. I hope Heart hear it. Love Shaun's acknowledgement of Zkye's performance at the end.

The first time I heard Darren and Tzan was this song with HSCC. Sarah sang it. In some ways this version is better, but the other version gives me goose bumps every time I play it.
