As happens so many times here on Sing It Live, "What's Up" was never one of my most favorite songs but once you guys get a hold of it, it'll go on repeat for me! Zkye's performance is outta this world. I've never seen her limit herself through some of the lyrics until now and was thrilled when she cut loose. I just sat and smiled and smiled and smiled through the whole thing. THANKS!!!

It's almost as if Zyke plays possum to start the song and as it morphs into this incredible outer body experience. She can wow any stage in the world. Darren was smiling too as this song gained momentum. Great classic tune guys!
And here's the voice that needs to be heard by the World - Zkye has such a wide range and this song takes it to an all new level - I fear our singit live family will lose her to the World...but then that's what this platform is all about right? Awesome contrast to last week's Van Halen tribute❤👏👌🎤

This song came out in 1993, and immediately I fell in love with it. Over 30 years later, I still feel the same about it. I look forward to Fridays for many reasons, but one of them is to see what SingIt Live has in store for us..and this week, it was legendary. Zkye absolutely owned this song, even Linda Perry would appreciate the effort Zkye put into her vocal performance on the song she wrote. And the rest of the band played this to perfection, Tzan and Shaun always do excellent in their guitar work, and the mixture of acoustic and electric on this song was done to perfection. Another great effort Darren, thanks for the great, great version of one of my absolute favorite songs.

I've heard this song covered a few times over the years, all by live bands here in the UK, but never as good as this. Absolutely brilliant effort from everyone.

Now this is just top notch! I have to start with the excellent choice of song and lead singer. Absolutely perfect for Zkye. Raspy, quiet and loud all in one. Darren is like a kid in a sweet shop, he has such a big grin on his face. Me too! Shaun, your overlap of the song at the near end was 😘. I was thinking what were you going to do, just perfect. Is Tzan playing "Tommy"? Loving the longer side camera angles, we get to appreciate Mark's playing, and who can't say no to more of Damo! Love the power and energy of the vocals.
Just watch the expression of the keyboard player, he knows, they have struck gold. First, the key they play this song in fits perfectly with the vocalist's range, so the result is pure magic. Selfishly, I am glad they used no auto-tune as the vocalist's imperfections make her performance so powerful; she is an imperfect human but the depth of her emotion is clear, so clear for us to hear. Bravo!

SingiT Live became my favourite when Darren branched off. The arrangement and musicians delivering the goodness each week are second to none. With vocals likes Zkye, who is my favourite, just makes this a must for me to listen to. Now, if both Zkye and Danny (from the other) delivered vocals for SingiT that would be it for me. Maybe that is too much to ask for.🤣

I don't just love this song, I love their whole album. I listened to it many times bitd. It didn't surprise me when I found out that Linda was basically the most powerful behind the scenes force in music for the next two decades. Or is it 3 now? Wow, good morning and I don’t know how I didn’t see this from a week ago on my notifications, but that was absolutely freaking AMAZING!! Every configuration of this group never ceases to amaze me with how completely note for note spot-on everything is with every song you do, vocals, instrumentation, etc.. but you close your eyes, and you could swear you are listening to the original 4 Non Blondes recording… The attention to detail of every facet of a cover you folks do is just so awesome and brilliantly done…BRAVO!! 👩🏼🎼🎤🎸🎹🎸🥁
