I think that your kids would like the Snowman Cookies for the holidays they r easy and simple to make. Ingredients r large marshmallow for the bottom part then vanilla wafer for the hat and a rolo on top of that then u put the pretzel sticks for the arms and melt vanilla icing all over it and its called Snowman Cookies Desert!

If someone threw a fit over a gift, I would take the gift back and they'd never get anything else ever again. Even a white elephant gift. That is totally inappropriate behavior and I will not entertain it. We had a box of Viagra band-aids that were passed around as a white elephant gift for years, not something exciting at all, just hilarious. (The band-aids eventually all got used and just the box was getting re-gifted, lol). I wonder what finally happened to that... hmmm. I've received gifts that I won't use many times, but I still am grateful and thank the person who gave me the gift. Gifts that I know I won't use, will make great future gifts for someone who I know will use that item or you can donate the item to someone less fortunate. No excuse to behave badly over any gift that you receive, especially a white elephant gift where you know there is a chance you may receive something you don't want or need. I totally understand your position though, that is a lot of money to spend for someone to not use whatever it is they receive. We never had a specified monetary value on white elephant, we were all broke so most items were $20 or less.
Keep up with youtube vids and you will in no time be able to get the camera you want! If ever get started with making videos too, I'd feel embarrassed 😅
