I bought one several years ago. I do like it even though it was expensive. I sharpen planer knives as well as jointer knives.

Tormek demos, they put fine grade oil on the hone wheel before applying the hone paste. I didnt see you put oil on the hone wheel. Did you? If not, why not?

The honing wheel was charged with the included oil, per Tormek’s instructions, prior to applying the honing compound, which is shown in the video.

I have a Tormek system and love it. Pricey, yes but worth it
